Acme Taco & Burger

Still the worst customer service. No matter where they relocate to, and the Yelp page changes, they will never be good again. Thank the owner for being a huge a$$.

Decided to try their breakfast burritos, was not disappointed. Only the drive-thru is open for breakfast. We had the following:

- Carne Con Huevos - diced onions, fresh cilantro, shredded beef, pepperjack cheese and eggs - the beef was delicious and was good, but nothing compared to the Revoltijo

- Revoltijo - chorizo, bacon, ham, potato, diced onion, fresh cilantro, eggs & melted queso - this was your truly all in one burrito, this thing was as long as my forearm! No joke, look at the picture! It was really delicious and can easily feed two people.

I will be back for more burritos!

Burgers are so great! Love the variety of options and flavors. The Bre or Not to Bre burger was phenomenal, Bre cheese with orange marmalade sauce. Also the Border Patrol burger was great too but pretty spicy, the burger patty is real good beef. Fresh crispy fries and Grilled Mac and Cheese are so yummy.

This was our first trip here and instead of hitting our favorite Sunday brunch spot we opted for something different and new.

We got there just after 11am which is when they open on Sunday. There were a few cars there but it was fairly open and we were seated immediately. By the time we left at 12:15pm it was 3/4 full so there wasn't any waiting which is nice.

The food was good and although the menu appears unique, it is still tacos and burgers with a new age spin. The Mac and cheese was awesome and we tried 4 different tacos. They were all ready good. My wife didn't finish her "2 tacos plus side" but I did so the portions were fair for the price.

One pleasant surprise was the live music. There was a 2 piece band and the singer was pleasant and the music blended in well.

Overall we had a good experience and will come back. It is a unique spin and burgers and tacos that was well received.

Came here with 2 friends at 7:30. I ordered the Cajun Burger and acme fries. Not too shabby. The sopapillas was okay. I wish it had a chocolate sauce as well instead of just whip cream, Caramel, and blueberry. Our waitress was very very nice too and the atmosphere was very mellow. The decor was also nice too. Will be here again to try other stuff.

Non of us have been fans in the other locations but the 4 entries were amazing. Our waiter Gabriel was amazing.

Best and freshest salsa in Lafayette.

Seafood burrito was so good and the grilled Mac n cheese. From what I hear the all American burger is their most popular.
They also have a lunch menu for Saturday and Sunday!
Go check this place out. You won't regret it.

Options, options, options! Can't decide between tacos or a burger, no need Acme has you covered!

Either make your own combo, choose a pre-planned trio of tacos or go for a huge burger. Whatever you do order some flaming queso!

I am personally a fan pf the super sonic margarita (cherry & lime)!

Also their brunch is a great price with bottomless mimosas! Between the indoor & outdoor seating it makes for a great start to a Sunday.

I liked the laid-back atmosphere of this place. The service was also very good and down-to-earth. There is a full bar, and the inside is huge.

The free chips and salsa that comes before your food was really good.

I got the OMFG tacos (hard shell) and they were really good. For the sides, I got the fries basket and the grilled mac and cheese, both sides were good. Everything was GOOD.

Can we give it a ZERO rating !!! Omg !! Worst food served in Laf, BY FAR !!!
Young girl and guy singing in the front area; music was SO loud, like for a Pub or Lounge, NOT a family restaurant !! NOT great acoustics! You had to yell at the small table with only 4 of us !!! Not a place for that type of music!

How can you miss on fries ?!?!?! So much salt that the salt was caked on the sweet potato fries !!! I asked for a napkins so I can sift them; he never brought them! The chips and salsa had so much salt that we were shaking the salt off EVERY chip; then, the salsa had big bites of salt to taste !!!
Hamburgers were NOT worth $11 !!!! Dry and cold tasting !! They HAVE to use generic ketchup!! Worst ketchup ever!! Geez, how can you miss on fries and ketchup ?!?!?! This place did !! (Fries were cool; evidentially re-heated!!!)

Menu too confusing!! My quesadilla is listed under "Taco's"; came warm, NOT HOT AT ALL, and soggy on the bottom of each section--- wet tortilla !! Gross !! The chicken they put in the quesadilla had ZERO flavor! Almost like plain canned chicken meat !!

Our waiter seldom checked on us bc he was busy at other tables---The waiter's excuse was that they are short handed -- not my fault! Maybe they can't keep employees bc no one is getting tips bc the food is horrible !!! He just smiled when I told him that we literally couldn't eat the sweet potato fries bc there were mounds of salt on each fry !!! Every one of us had the same problem; not just one plate !!! He didn't do ONE THING to satisfy us !!!

Trust me--- there is no way they have a "true chef" that cooks there -- HAS to be inexperienced hired hands who truly don't know how to even heat up food! They need to not use blocks of sea salt --- I have a pic of my sweet potato fries and you can see the salt on them !!!

Don't waste your money !!! Cheapest burger is $11 bucks, too !!!
