Absolute Climate Control

I am extremely disappointed in this company. We just bought a house and needed someone out ASAP to fix our a/c . Found them in a google search, and they had amazing reviews! Gave them a call, said they would be there 6:30 that same night! Needless to say 7pm rolls around, no show no call. My husband called and left a message, by 8 I was over it and left them one as well. Hoped they would call first thing in morning, NOPE! They never even bothered. This company is clearly poorly managed, And how they had so many good reviews on another site BLOWS mind.

We requested service for the a/c heat mini split unit in our cabin. I was quoted $89 for a diagnostic call. The young lady was very nice, checking over the unit, cleaning in the filter area(where we had already cleaned). She then vaccumned out the drainage hose outside. She was here less than an hour and presented us a bill for $346!!! BEWARE! I refused to pay such a ridiculous amount and after listening to the service manager explain to me why this fee was appropriate for 15+ minutes, he reduced our charge to the original $89. At no point in the call were we told if the service tech proceeded cleaning the unit that there would be an additional $245 charge! I DO NOT recommend this company at all! The only positive note I could add is that the employee i talked with originally and the service tech were very polite. UNBELIEVABLE that this company conducts business this way!

I am completely appalled and disgusted with the service rendered at my home.

Your technician came and tried to upsell me like a professional salesman, and he only found that we needed Freon for the main floor. When he left, about an hour later, I noticed there was uncooled humid air blowing from the upstairs unit. The outdoor unit's fan was turning. He called to ask about it. He had just left and said all was well. Then he comes back to say that nothing was wrong with it, but that it needed time to cool down since it was shut off, which does not make any sense because that was the first unit to be worked on, and therefore it was turned on first, and my other two units were blowing cold air. Ever since that day, the upstairs unit has failed to maintain the temperature we set it at, and it did NOT have a problem before the visit.
Today I got home from picking up my daughter from Youth group, and you will never guess what is happening!! The upstairs unit is not cooling at all!! My kids have school tomorrow, and we are having to move them to sleep in the basement bedroom. I know things happen, but tell me how I can have maintenance come out, say it is good, then it immediately stop working the same day, he comes out later the same day, actually gets it going, and now, even after it was cleared by your tech, how can it be not working now???
Are you hiring technicians to create jobs for you by sabotaging units??
Not to mention I paid $2000 for having accepted part of his spiel. So now I am out $2000 and your free maintenance is costing me another visit?!?!

Are you looking for a HVAC business you can trust? Let me save you the time. I've researched other providers like PEAK Performance. The folks at Absolute Climate Control have that "can do" attitude and exceptional service. I highly recommend them!

The office personnel (Wendy) set the bar high by accommodating us with same business day service (scheduled after lunch), being extremely knowledgeable with HVAC systems, and providing us with detailed information about who was coming out and when and doing so in a prompt manner.

The on site technician (Ben) met and exceeded that bar. Not only did he take extreme care to make sure we understood how everything is supposed to work, but took the time to walk us through as he did his inspection. Despite being a late in the day booking (on a Friday), he did not rush, made sure we were better acquainted with our system and took his time to make sure he left everything clean (booties, door mat, etc.- this was important for us).

This company has employees that care about the customers which is indicative of the culture there. With that being said, we're glad to have found you and look forward to having you come back in the fall. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Take from this review what you will, but if you find yourself in a similar situation where you do not know who to call first, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not calling Absolute first.
