AAA Huntsville Insurance and Member Services

They came from Huntsville and my battery was dead. The company went to the Nissan place and bought me a new battery for my car and put it in, although they didn't have too. This isn't usually a part of what they do but I asked them to do this for me and they did. AAA is so worth the money and I feel safe to have them.

Today I am canceling my membership with AAA/ALABAMA.
I transferred my membership upon arrival to ALABAMA. Poor service began day one and for me has not stopped. I do get the fact ALABAMA/AAA would prefer not to provide me service at all. I would just say have had membership with AAA before and never had the delays of service or misdirected information or blatant unfulfilled promised follow up of communication leading to unanswered service or unreimbursements. Maybe this will be the trend when I leave ALABAMA; However, I can say to-date I have never before received such poor service from any other AAA service provider outside of ALABAMA.

No one can answer the phones this location ...and the 1 lonely person that answered for AAA was rude and arrogant.. then hung up on me ... can not get anyone to answer in the whole state of Alabama.

I contacted them for a bundled home and auto policy. I received competitive premium quote and signed up for all policies and paid in full for the year. One week later I get a 'policy update from the underwriter' that increased my home policy by 40%! And they can't/won't give me the policy I agreed to and paid for, "because AAA needs to insure for full replacement value'. Excuse me, but that is what the quote process was for! Watch out for this BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM! Also they know full well what they're doing because they conveniently have a "10% early cancellation PENALTY". Even if this was not malicious, it IS both gross negligence and malpractice.

This is a great company with low insurance rates...service is excellent! Ed

Terrible company, my homeowners and automotive insurance trippled in 4 years for over $4,700. I have had zero claims. Beware, they lure you in with cheap rates and rapidly increase your insurance without any just cause. They also do not input your insurance to the data base which increases your time you stay with them for another insurance company to verify you have been insured.

American Automobile Association. This glass-windowed office building is immediately north of the Parkway Place mall parking garage.

AAA is the premier auto / travel club. They are also travel agents, if you want a to take a cruise or group tour.

Even if you're not a member, I think they will provide recommendations of towing or car repair providers. I'd suggest giving them a call when you have vehicle trouble, and aren't sure who to call.

In my family, you join AAA as soon as you get a driver's license... It's just part of the process and you don't question it. I can't say how many times being a member of AAA has saved me, either with the free towing, the jump service, or their lockout service (my most frequently used feature).

With the roadside assistance, free maps, travel agent service, and the discounts you can get by being a member, AAA membership easily pays for itself.

I've always been a "Plus" member so I'm not sure how that differs from a standard membership.

AAA Alabama, don't leave home without them! Seriously, they are always friendly and helpful. I usually get a "Trip Tix" which is a turn-by-turn map of your route showing road construction and any other hazard along your route. I love the Tour Book for the states I travel to and they not only offer road side assistance and locksmith services, but also will book your travel for you. Well worth the annual membership fee!
