Are the non-pork items on the menu halal?

Hello, I doubt that it is but they were considerate regarding food, allergies. A person with me that is allergic to shellfish and eggs. I would suggest that you contact the Resturant directly to ask this question.

We went here for our 8 year anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful time! There's definitely a wait list so make sure to account for that and be prepared to wait at least an hour if you go during a high volume dinner hour. We did the Kobe selection, largest all you can eat for $42 a person and it was worth every penny! Our favorite was the garlic peppered beef!

First of all, this is a local favorite Korean BBQ, not only the food is great, the service is always a top notch. The restaurant is clean, inviting and always packed with happy customers. I suggest you check with Yelp to reserve your seat or at least use the wait list feature.
Our server is Yuni, a very pleasant young lady who is on top of things. She is very attentive and asking if we need anything consistently. Even though she is handling multiple tables, it feels like she is only focus on our table.
Overall, it was a great experience. I hope you are lucky enough to get Yuni's tableHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James H.Las Vegas, NV05Apr 4, 2024
YUNI is the best! Ask directly for YUNI to help you. She's so sweet and wonderful and made sure we had every order.
Food came out very quickly.
Music was great and happy environment.
All meats were great but highlight was YUNI!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 74823Mar 30, 2024
Our favorite meal in Vegas! We ordered the $43 Kobe menu and well worth it. Meat selection was fantastic and they refilled banchan and sides regularly. Service was quick! We ordered the soon tofu soup and kimchi fried rice at the end. Be sure to leave room for those!!
My only complaint is the wait!! But thankfully they use the yelp waitlist so just plan ahead of time. Wait list timing was pretty accurate. We ended up waiting over 2 hours.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 24, 2024
Always a great place to bring friends. Located in Chinatown. Utilize Yelp waitlist or go right when they open bc if you don't, you are guaranteed to wait hours!! We get menu set B and the food is just always on point. As busy as they are, they don't miss a beat with their service. The wait staff is attentive and food comes out quickly! Another must stop for us when in Vegas.

Great spot with good quality meat for the price. Went for lunch right when they opened and no wait and service was good! Everything is set up when you're seated and it's all clean so it's a comfortable experience.
Quality of the meat is regular for most of the ayce kbbq places in Vegas. Every meal comes with a soup that's also kept over a burner which keeps it warm which is great! Love their selection for their menu types.
No frills and everything comes out fast great for a chill hangout!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Feb 4, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
Erwin was the best server.
The various flavors of pork belly was amazing, but our favorite was the tofu stew with udon noodles.
Spicy tuna over crispy rice is a must try too!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Nov 25, 2019Previous reviewDelicious and fun kbbq place to go after a night out on the strip.
The $19 late night happy hour is such a steal. Last call was around 2:20am and service was fast.
My friends and I wolfed down the pork sampler, beef bulgogi, pork belly, spicy chicken, cheese corn, tofu soup and cold buckwheat noodles. ( I could live without the cold noodles, it didn't taste as savory as I expected ).
Very nice staff and the restaurant was extremely

As far as the food goes, 888 deserves a solid 5 star. Why have I given them 4 instead? Let me explain. We had a party of 11 people but we were seated at 2 different tables. Not everyone wanted the most expensive option but they refused to let us order a different level even though it would have been simple since we were sitting at 2 different tables anyway. The reason became clear later. Some restaurants add what they call a service charge or some other term instead of telling you they have added a guaranteed tip for themselves to the tab already. I'm sure there have been a number of customers who either didn't notice this or didn't want to question why they were being charged. Obviously, if we had been allowed to choose a lower level of AYCE, this would have been less money and "service charge" for the establishment. If they were going to stick it to us to order all top level, I was going to be on a mission to max out on all the limit 1 items and encouraged the rest of the party to do the same.
Now the limited items were really delicious. The prime Korean kalbi was some of the best I've ever had. So tender and the marinade had just the right amount of sweetness. TheKobe carpaccio was a delight. I'd never had that before. The salmon carpaccio was also wonderful. The filet mignon was certified Angus so obviously this was another fantastic item. I wasn't as impressed by the Kobe beef which required dipping sauce but what was better was the Kobe fatty rib even though it wasn't a limited item. The garlic prime flat iron was a little tough so you might try something else if you're getting full. There is LA kalbi for those who enjoy the strips of meat with bone you cut into smaller pieces. The banchan they brought us was good but pretty standard fare. The steamed egg and sweet corn cheese were worth ordering from the appetizer section. I could have lived without the sliced sweet corn. My sister in law and I split a half order of small intestine since they always show people on Korean dramas eating it so we took the plunge. It wasn't bad but I don't know if I'd order it again by itself. It was kind of like eating the fat from a rib eye steak. It might be better in a Korean soup or stew though.
I did enjoy my visit and it seemed like the entire party enjoyed the food. I just don't like it when businesses aren't totally transparent about what they are charging and you see these mysterious additions to the bill for you to decipher. Maybe I'm just old school and not up on current business practices but if you're charging something that's not on the menu, be forthcoming about what we're paying for instead of having to ask what it is. I just see it as being sneaky. Now armed with that knowledge, I do plan on coming back since it was a great meal. Don't be afraid to ask about anything on the bill that you have a question about no matter what establishment you patronize.Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 9Oh no 1
