7-Eleven

Nice 7-Eleven. I stopped in to pick up cheddar jalapeno Cheetos that were priced for only $1.49 per bag. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7-eleven-san-diego-49?select=nZcFavxRIvV7EoxNKIJj2g#YAAaVpSO-dIKQEccNKEHcw). The place was not that busy, so I got in and out rather quickly. While I was there, I also picked up a quick pic for the Super Lotto drawing. The guy at the register was pretty cool and made small talk.

The store was pretty well stocked and clean. It sports a Red Box (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7-eleven-san-diego-49?select=nZcFavxRIvV7EoxNKIJj2g#GoXXV5v2abt7C4zJOeI1hQ) and a propane tank exchange program. It does not have a gas station though. Have to admit, I rather enjoyed munching on those cheddar Cheetos on the way home....but, I should of gotten something to drink.

Good 7-Eleven......I like a good Cheeto. No judging now...

Bought a lottery ticket and won $100 and the man refused to cash in my winnings like he expected me to buy more tickets instead.

Filed a complaint with the California State Lottery Commission:

1-800-LOTTERY (1-800-568-8379) and provide: Retailer's name, ID number and/or address. Date and time of the incident

This 7-eleven is so close to my house so I come in here almost every morning for coffee. The staff is so nice and friendly and always ask me how I am doing and if I found everything I needed. Tuesday mornings is my favorite because I get a free muffin with my coffee!

I like this place. Very friendly staff in the morning. This goes out to the owner. However, after 10 or 11, the lights are turned off. It's pitch black. This is a safety issue for your customers and your staff. Imagine someone falls or you get robbed, because you were too cheap to keep the lights on. Wake up. You're in business. The poor kid working graveyard is a sitting duck.

The male person who was representing the entire establishment at that time looked into my face, saw my skin color and asked me "Do you have any cash to pay with?" I said "that is a stupid question to ask!" He only asked black people that! The white man who made his purchase moments before mine and spent less money on his purchase was not asked if he had any cash! I was standing there the whole time.

I deuced by the information and tone that I was dealing with that he only asked black customers that and he saw me as black.

I was so angry about that question, really do you think all black people pay with E B T cards! He only tried to clean it up when an anonymous, white man added his comments; then all of the sudden he tried to appear none racist. To that man who left before I could say thank you, Thank you!

This youngster is ill informed of how to ask questions, he should not be working with the public if he has a problem with any part or portion of the public.

I am not going to other 7-11's I am going back to this one over and over until the behavior changes!

Wow! The energy level is amazing here. Such a better store than the one on La Jolla Blvd. Namaste

Do to covid reason it doesn't give people, especially the cashier the right to ignore you when you say good morning or ask how his morning is going. Then soon as a young lady come in the cashier is all of a sudden all chatty and his ears open up. Wow shaking my head.

Very rude and awkward staff. Most of the time they don't acknowledge you, and stare awkwardly, even when you're checking out. They make my wife so uncomfortable and creeped out, she won't shop there anymore.

I stop by here frequently to grab a drink or quick snack. The staff are very friendly and the store is kept very clean. This place stands out compared to other 7-11s in the same area.

The customer service is horrible. They are rude and just horrible. In addition to that they've lied to me about points on the app, not gotten it wrong- they flat out lied. Also, I went to get cash back and they said I had to spend over a certain amount to get cash back, that's fine, I just didn't want to spend more to get cash back so I politely said no, it's ok, that I didn't want to purchase the items.... and I was asked to never come back there again.
