6 Crabs

The food I delicious. I had the whiting and calamari. I took a chance buying the calamari but they cooked it just right.

Visited Williamsburg with kids, found this place through Yelp. Ordered chicken wings, fried shrimp, crabs and other items. While I liked the crabs, the kids were more finicky but then again seafood is not their favorite food.
Had the crab lovers special which was not on the menu but on the wall. Garlicy she crab, it was well done and I enjoyed them all.
The area is full of overpriced formulaic restaurants (believe me, been here in the area many times) so anytime I can go to a smaller mom and pop or authentic places, am happy to try them. Also for the food to value ratio, they were a very good value.
Dining room was bare bones, better to take out and eat back at the hotel.
Going by the other patrons, they were mostly local seafood lovers as well. If I'm back here again, will come again.

Horrible steamed crabs I had ate 2 before I came across 2 bad ones (I only ordered 12 )really small the steamed shrimp had no flavor but the fried whiting was pretty decent.... I think the worst thing was the attitude of the Asian woman the worst ever!!! Save your money and find another spot where your money is appreciated!!!

Me and my husband got sick, Food was not fresh. Food is prepare in
this back room the place is a dive. 1st thing we notice is the sign that said no refund. My husband said the fish was frozen not fresh . very disappointed

Your typical local carryout seafood spot. In from out of town and wanted a quick bite for lunch.

Got the fried whiting, shrimp, and scallops. All were fried very well. Not greasy at all. Tasted pretty good.

My girlfriend doesn't like hushpuppies.. she liked theirs.

Don't do it!

Open the door. You walk in for the first time, unsure of yourself. You see a deli cold case with fresh caught fish and crab and shrimp. The smell of the dock washes over you, and you begin to think your friend PWN'd you, that this isn't a place to eat despite the little tables and chairs.

DO NOT LEAVE. The looks of the place deceive. You have found a hidden gem of Williamsburg. You don't have time to go down to the docks, so these folks brought the docks to you. Scallops, soft shell crab, shrimp, crawdads--you name it, they've got it. So order up. You won't regret the decision.

We spent over $60 and ordered a sampling of their food. Being so close to the ocean and based on reviews we expected a great seafood dinner. The soft shell crab was very small and thin with barely any meat. The steamed shrimp were huge and seasoned a bit after they had been cooked, but they still had their huge mud veins that made them very off putting. A seafood eatery should know to devein and leave the shell on for steaming. The fried scallops were like mush inside of a burnt breading. I would not have known what they were supposed to be had I not been the one that placed the order. The popcorn shrimp were also burnt and had a texture like beef jerky. For the money being spent, they could take the time to change out the frying grease, not overcook the food, and get rid of the shrimp poop.

Very good seafood and great prices! New owner. Not a lot of drink choices, just cans of sodas in a display cooler. I like this place better than skrimp shack though.

Nice lady! Small business. Fairly clean for a seafood restaurant. Tight parking. If you're a crab lover or just like seafood... give her a try!

This place was pretty cool, in a fun hole-in-the-wall sort of way, but I didn't love it like I hoped I would. Service was pretty slow, the place was pretty dirty, and everything was pretty ho-hum.

Except the garlic butter crab. That was delicious. And prices are rock bottom. Otherwise, my group and I got a couple of combo plates, and thought the food was fine, but nothing to write home about.

Oh my God worst experience ever got the fried oyster dinner and oysters taste just like burnt Grease and question where do you buy fried oysters and they come out looking like hush puppies burnt ones take it from me don't waste your money it will be your worst experience ever and what is this a joke these positive reviews what are these people lying I know they have had good seafood I'll give them a very bad review because I've been cooking for over 30 years 5 * cooking as well as cooking at various Seafood spies one of the most popular places in Williamsburg is Captain George Seafood I cook beer for 6 years so I know what Seafood is supposed to taste like
