Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant! The interior decorating is super nice, and I love the low light vibe. The waitress was great as well. I started with the French onion soup. DEFINITELY get it if you love French onion soup. It is honestly some of the best I've had in Buffalo. The broth was so flavorful and the pieces of bread were so tasty. For the main course I got the Greek burger with Brussels sprouts. It was a fresh tasting burger which I liked. I definitely would recommend that they cook the Brussels sprouts a little longer and/or put more seasoning on. Other than that though it was a very nice place!

I had probably one of the best burgers I've ever had here, the BBQ Onion Burger! We were greeted as soon as we walked in by the very friendly staff and our waitress was very nice and friendly. We did not have to wait very long for our food either. With an extensive bourbon and beer menu you are sure to find something that you like!

Brick wall around the bar area and beautiful natural woodwork throughout. They had on some classic rock music while we were there which was alright with us.
Service. Outstanding!! When we walked in the hostess/waitress wasn't right at the door but saw us from the back and acknowledged us and sat us as quickly as possible. Waitress was very friendly, stopped back a couple times to see how we were doing.
Food. Amazing! I'm a burger guy so this was right up my alley and I was not disappointed! I got the spicy bbq burger cooked medium with sweet potato fries as my side. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bun (which I always say makes it breaks the burger) was fresh and delicious. The spicy wasn't too spicy as I read in some other reviews, just enough to taste it. Some may say it's not enough and some too much, for me it was just right. The sweet potato fries were plenty and served with a small cup of warm honey to drizzle over top or dip, your choice. Wifey went with the spinach artichoke grilled cheese and she was blown away by it. She went with regular French fries and again, the right amount. It was worth the 35 minute ride from home and won't be our last visit! - Nov 17, 2023
Had a nice time at 189 and always love the food. I appreciate how much of their drinks involve fire lol. It makes sitting at the bar entertaining! Food is always good, have never had a bad thing here. Service was good even though they were busy. All in all had a great time.

Burgers were very very good. We were very impressed with the Bourbon Onion burger and the All American burger - egg was cooked perfectly. Sweet potato fries were really good.
Service was good, food came fairly quickly.
We wanted to sit outside because it was nice and we regretted it because there were about 50 flies attacking us throughout lunch. So, food is very good but ambiance was suboptimal due to their fly problem.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 19222178Jan 5, 2024
I came here with my husband today for our anniversary. We were seated immediately and were given waters. We ordered other drinks and our waitress brought them quickly. She was efficient, polite, and friendly. I got the 189 burger and my husband ordered the American. My burger came with a gluten free bun because I'm allergic. The burger I got was delicious. Like, out of this world. Even when I was getting full, I really couldn't stop eating it because of the deliciousness. The cheese and special sauce was so gooey and yummy, while the burger was seasoned well and cooked exactly how I wanted. It was a great experience. The food was incredible, the service was good, and the ambience was nice, too. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in East Aurora.

YYYYUUUMMMMM!
We were coming back from a mini day-trip and knew we would travel through East Aurora. I remembered this was a new joint and wanted us to try it.
We strolled in a bit before 2 pm on a Sunday and even tho it was busy, we were immediately sat at a back booth, which was perfect for us.
We checked out the menu and knew we were glad we chose to drop in. Everything sounded so good! Although I was tempted with a burger, I went with the Turkey club which had THE BEST bacon! Also, the burger meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked as desired at medium heat and with onion straws...boom! Get their homemade fries too - Delicious!
The hostess and server were very attentive and we truly enjoyed our service. Highly recommend and we will be back!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 7, 2024
Nicely decorated, pretty much everyone was wearing Bills shirts and football was on. Was slightly loud as there was music on and people were talking over it, but not too bad. Seated quickly and the server was nice. Food came out pretty quickly. I had a build a burger as I like just a plan burger with lettuce, tomato and onion, no cheese or mayo. I did get charged for the few pickle slices on the burger which I felt was a little silly, surely a slice of tomato and some thin red onion slices take the place of the cheese without an up-charge at all. Most of the burgers were fancier and all of them were priced $18, so was surprised I get charged more. The burger was cooked pretty close to medium, maybe a little more down than I usually like, but I enjoyed it. The bun type isn't my favorite, didn't add anything to the meal, but overall a decent burger. My mom didn't want a huge meal and got a Tomato soup and a side of fries. Fries were tasty. She said the soup was a tad saltier than she usually likes, but not overly. We both agreed fries were good

The girl who works at the hostess stand is so rude. She said her name is Sadie but 10/10 would not recommend going here just based on her attitude alone.
