My friends and I stumble upon this spot when we were all starving and the line for Ichiran was ridiculous. I'm so glad we did because ramen was flavorful and priced reasonably. Most of the ramen orders were 1000 yen and under but with toppings it can be more. We had an order of gyoza to shared and it was also good. The service was really quick and we were in and out in about 45mins (mind you I have a friend who eat slow like a turtle).

      FYI- cash only!

Such a good price for good quality ramen! We got the tsukemen which was absolutely delicious.

The menu needed some updating but the service was in true Japanese style - attentive, quick, and polite. The beer here is cheap, and so is the Highball - a whiskey and sparkling soda drink. A nice compliment to the heavy and rich broth for dipping.

To find this hidden gem look for TGIFridays and it is right across the way.

Very good ramen. The flavorful broth is thick and so is the fresh, chewy noodle. Price is very reasonable. Service is fast, press the button on the table if you need service. You get free extra noodle, rice or smth else (check my pic upload).

Good for groups (4 people otherwise it would be a long wait) or solo. They have two stories so plenty of seatings.

There are better ramen options, but this one fits the bill and tastebuds just fine.

We had a goal to eat ALLL THE RAMEN while in Toyko and decided to visit this little ramen joint before a night out. Seats about 6 at the bar and maybe 3-4 pair tables, so not the biggest space.

Nice place to grab a bowl of ramen or tsukumen when around the Shinjuku Station area if other popular spots have too long a way. Nothing extravagant or special, but the tsukumen (dipping) ramen and regular ramen options really hit the spot on a cold day.

I found the tsukumen ramen option to be a tad salty and fishy, so avoid that if you're not into those flavors.

Loved this place, unfortunately I found out about this place on my last day in Tokyo. It is definitely a place I will return to when I come back to Japan.

The texture of the noodles were perfectly al dente and broth was delicious! I ended up splitting a bowl with my sister, but I'm for sure getting my own bowl next time!

The Dan Dan noodle ramen is peanutty and just way too rich for me. The gyoza was nothing special. Not bad ramen but not really good to me either.

Excellent ramen with rich, thick broth and slightly chewy noodles. Had the spicy peanut tonkatsu broth with char siu, both Japanese and Chinese style, scallions, seaweed, veggies, garlic chips and an extra egg. More than enough filling! Not good for big groups as space is tight. Max group of 4 is available in upstairs seating. All at reasonable prices in the heart of Shinjuku

Literally the BEST ramen I've ever had. The noodles were thin and the broth was thick and the temperature was just right. The sides came on another plate so I could add how much I wanted. The picture does not do it justice. Can't wait to come back to Japan and try it out again!!!

Great ramen place. Love the soup smell, the taste, the noodles. Service is fast. Staff is nice. Prices are affordable. They have english menu.

So, first they were very prompt and foreigner friendly. Big pluses. I got the tonkatsu shoyu ramen and an order of basil and meat pot stickers ("shiso gyoza"). The ramen tasted really greasy. The piece of pork placed on top had clearly been heated and was browned --which would be a plus but it was super greasy--maybe that grease overpowered the soup flavor. I don't know. At first, i thought the soup tasted like brown butter buttered bread soup, if you can follow that. But then i thought about it and decided i was tasting the pork grease, but from frying not from boiling (i.e., soup making). Bottom line, to me It wasn't awful but in Shinjuku you don't need to settle for just barely ok tonkatsu ramen. Also, it came with an egg, like it normally does. I like the yolk soft and this one wasn't. Also, the egg was still cold on the inside when they served it. That's not a huge deal, but just another negative detail. The pot stickers were fine but not at all noteworthy.
