Montperi Catering and Events

Amanda with Montperi Catering did a wonderful job as our wedding coordinator! We did not need catering services because our venue handled all the food and beverage, but luckily for us we discovered that Montperi offers coordination services separately.

Amanda was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. Her experience in the industry was evident and her perspective as a caterer turned out to be very helpful. We had a few planning meetings with her in the months before the wedding where we got to pick her brain about the details of our timeline. She also ran our ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, she was very prepared and familiar with our detailed timeline. We DIY'd a lot, so we knew we would need her help setting up the flowers and decorations. Amanda understood our vision and was super efficient. She orchestrated the ceremony and kept our timeline on track the whole evening. How she managed to do everything she did and keep a big smile on her face, I don't know! I suspect she handled a lot more chaos than I was aware of on the day. I got to fully enjoy my wedding day, thanks in large part to Amanda.

From their tasty cuisine to the warm and attentive staff, Montperi Catering does not disappoint. We hired Montperi Catering for our wedding and can't thank them enough for a seamless experience! From service, organization and delicious food everything was so wonderful!

We started with a tasting 6 months before our wedding, and loved it so much we didn't bother to try other vendors. We were picky with our menu as we needed to cater to vegetarian, non-veg and high allergy guests, Montperi did an amazing job of catering to all palates and making it so so yummy! Even weeks after our wedding, our guests are still commenting on how good the steak or salmon was, or the watermelon salad, or the pilaf. Some have even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Chef Lamont, you do you! We really loved your creations!

On the planning process, we worked with Jennie Renda as our coordinator. She was so patient with answering our many questions, helping us think through the logistics as a couple , and very kind with making it all work out. Jennie, you're the best and we really appreciate all your hard work for making our dream wedding come to life!

The team catered our Christmas Eve dinner party for 21 and it was fantastic. The pre-service process was so professional and easy. Chef Lamont was accommodating to our food wishes creating a new menu for us that understood kids, food allergies and traditional foods. The food quality and quantity was perfect too. We didn't really have leftovers which is a huge compliment to Chef Lamont. We will definitely work with the Montperi again soon.

Chef Lamonte and team catered a party of 35 people for me. The food, the service and experience were really excellent and my guests really enjoyed the whole evening. The salmon got very high marks from everyone as did the risotto, the ahi poke cups, the mac and cheese cups.

They came in and hour and half early to set up, with the Chef, two kitchen assistants, two servers and a bartender. Everything went smoothly and was well-paced.

The whole place was really clean and everything leftover was put away well in my fridge. They made it so painless for me and my husband as hosts - it was so nice to be able to be a guest at our own party!

I want to extend my thanks to all. I definitely recommend Montperi Catering and hire them again some day.

Montperi catered our elementary school's auction night and gala. The food was delicious and fresh. We wanted to go back for seconds, and at the end, they had enough for us to get some more! Our tummies were so happy! The presentation of the food was really beautiful too. Thank you so much for a delicious dinner to go with a beautiful night out!

I had Montperi Catering for my wedding at the Brazilian Room back in June, and MAN am I still getting compliments to this day!

This was the best food that I've ever had at wedding, and many of my guests agree. The salmon and the truffle mac & cheese were to die for!

Along with the amazing food, they provided amazing service as well. We had great communication with Amanda from start to finish. She was such a big help during the overwhelming time of wedding planning.

Jenny was the biggest help on the day of the event. She, along with the servers, were so efficient and flexible through every change that came during the reception.

Montperi Catering came highly recommended by a family friend when we shifted from a 200 person to a 30 person backyard wedding during the coronavirus pandemic (Sept 2020). Chef Lamont and Amanda did not disappoint! When it came to communication and planning, Amanda was extremely attentive and responsive. She responded to my questions and always remained flexible. We did a socially distant walk through of the family yard/home and talked through how to best mitigate risk with covid for our immediately family and the Montperi team. They helped me think through our event flow and when food would be served and how.

The Montperi team set up the place settings quietly during our ceremony. It was hot and immediately after the ceremony the Montperi team graciously made sure everyone had water and remained hydrated...in addition to a cocktail.

Now let me get to the cocktail and food...the food was amazing!!! Chef Lamont and his crew provided an amazing menu that everyone enjoyed. We started with a cocktail hour with peach bellinis accompanied by sliced tri-tip, truffled mac n cheese, and lemon thyme roasted skewers. We went with the salmon and lamb for our entrées accompanied with the Florentino blood orange salad, citrus asparagus, and rosemary roasted potatoes. To go with our red velvet wedding cake, Chef Lamont blessed us with creme brule. Montperi catering even made my father-in-love his own egg free creme brule!

The staff did a great job cleaning up after the reception!! This took a huge burden off our family and allowed all of us to be present. I have recommended Montperi to others looking for catering services. I look forward to when we can work with Montperi again after the pandemic. Thank you Chef Lamont, Amanda, and the entire Montperi team for making our covid wedding memorable and easy breezy!!!

Montperi catered our wedding with +100 plus guests and have no notes. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with the menu-- making it entirely gluten-free and nut free-- and other last minute tweaks to the final menu. They were responsive, organized, and proactive in communicating with us and our wedding planner throughout the entire 9 months lead-up to the wedding. It was especially helpful that they had a ton of experience working at the Brazilian Room (Berkeley,CA) and were able to provide recommendations on the placement of tables, venue idiosyncrasies, issues to watch out for, etc. Jennie, our main contact with Montperi, was great to work with-- great vibes, supportive of our vision, and responsive to our many, many questions. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests have commented that this was the best food they have had at any wedding.

They catered a small tech talk and everything was perfect, we were on a time crunch and they worked through it like champs. Not to mention we had to reschedule this event a day a head of time and they were completely flexible. Will use again. :)
