Parking sucks.

Office sucks.

Security sucks.

The lifts never work and I had wasps living outside on my front porch and it took 4 months before someone came out to get rid of them.

Plus the cops come here like 4 times a week to bust someone. It's overpriced for what you get($1500 for 2 bedrooms 900 sq ft.) and our upstairs neighbors never shut the hell up!!

This place blowwws. That is all.

A healthy alternative to fatty ice creams so it's definitely cool in my book...

I just don't understand why it's so damn popular that flocks of people gather to it late at night and hang out there....

It's just yogurt...and toppings.

I do enjoy the toasted coconut...probably the best tasting flavor. I mix it with those chewy brownie pieces and pineapple and mango...wow.

Other than that...well it's just yogurt people!

I have been to this place and could only vaguely remember that the cheese bread was good...Maybe there was a reason why I surpressed this memory and it only came out the 2nd time around...

GROSSSSS NESSS!!

I brought the bf here cuz we had the coupon(Entertainment book seriously people) and it was $10 off of $20. So we get there and the tour I had last time I remember it being a lot longer than this one...

Who cares about the tour anyways...

So we sit down and it takes literally 15 minutes before a server even bothers to come say hello. We ask for waters and bread and he comes back in about 5 minutes. The kid was really young, like underage drinking young, but he was really nice. Too bad he sucked.

It took almost 15 again to get our orders and finally we got the Garlic Broccolli, a meatball, and the Quattro something er other stuffed pasta dish.

The food came out rather quickly unfortunately....it wasn't good at all.

Let's start with the simplest of the dishes...the broccolli.

Well...it was bathed in garlic and peppers so much so that every bite was unbearable. I mean you could literally kill a vampire by throwing this brocolli at it.

Then came the meatball...which tasted very plain. So not too much complaint there.

Then I had the main Course. I could literally take the shells in which said cheese and herbs were stuffed and wrap them around me as a bulletproof vest. They were that uncooked.

It was bland, lifeless, and to top it off...over priced!!

Thank goodness we had a coupon or else this would have ran us up to $30+

Then it took forever to get our bill needless to say we WONT be coming back here ever again.

I could make better Italian food blindfolded using only my feet to cook it.

The Melting Pot Restaurant

I've heard from many of the hustle and bustle that comes from the oh so mysterious Melting Pot so I HAD to try it out...plus ...who dosen't like dipping food in a giant pot of melted cheese??? HMM???

LUCKILY, the boy and I had a coupon(Entertainment book seriously get it) and we made early dinner reservations for a Saturday night.

Be prepared to get lost in the maze of hallways which I thought was pretty cool. We were sat in a private table and our waitress turned on the pot.

We got the spinach and artichoke dip to start and it was indeed as many have said before DELICIOUS.

Only one problem...they do NOT give you that much. How dissapointing especially for $16 a pot.

Then came the entrees....oh goodness how do I start?? When you look at the menu you wonder how a place this nice stays in business with the amount of food that comes with each plate.

REALITY CHECK. Food came out and they gave us the SMALLEST portions I've ever seen in my life. HELLO?? I'm hungry and not a supermodel so I need to eat more than 2 bites of meat!! And cook it myself??? Not for $24 a pop!

The meat was just alright...I can't really judge it since I had to make it myself.

And no we DID NOT get dessert. HELL NO.

All in all...cool ambience...not good on your wallet nor is it worth the $60 we spent dining there. AND I'm still hungry...

Interesting experience...never gunna go back. Unless you wanna foot the bill?? YEA?? No didn't think so...

First off let me start with the fact that I DO NOT frequent places like YOGURT LAND or PINKBERRY. I am NOT one of those people who hangs out there for hours chit chatting and eating frozen yogurt.

No thank you. But I did go to the $3 theater down the street and was craving something sweet afterwards.

The boy and I knew that this place existed yet never stopped to try it out so we drove over there and when we walked in you could totally tell that this was indeed our first rodeo.

The nice counter girl explained how this worked and off we went to get our frozen delight.

We went with a bit of the tart, some blackberry, and some cake batter.

Then came the toppings....

I believe I went into a toppings coma because I couldn't put enough on there....it was a sensory overload.

SPRINKLES, NON PAREILS, MANGO, STRAWBERRY, COCONUT...

Then the chick tells me they charge by weight...damn it!!!

To my surprise it came out to $4.80. Woo hoo!!

I like this place. Maybe Next time im in HB I will try some more flavors.

Frank's Philadelphia

I know everyone raves about this place and it's a small independently owned place and you know I love those...BUT.....I just couldn't get into Frank's.

I've been here a few times and always try to get a different form of the cheesesteak.

The meat is so wierd. It's very ground up and not sliced the way a real cheesesteak is supposed to be. I ordered a sandwich with extra cheese and recieved no extra.... So thats a downer.

They were supposed to add bell peppers and I saw very few...another downer.

The last 2 times the bread was very hard to bite into. Not moist at all and I was struggling with it the whole time.

Maybe I'm just spoiled because I've had an authentic Cheese steak FROM Philadelphia or maybe there's something wrong with me....

I'm pretty sure it's the first one.

Sorry Frank's. But I don't think I will be agreeing to try any more of your sandwiches. I know I know...I'm a debbie downer...oh well.

Jack Shrimp Restaurant

The boy and I came here last night for Dinner(Sunday). It was pretty empty but I was ok with that since we got a seat right in front of the TV where we could watch the Angels lose. (Don't peg me as an Angel's fan...the boy is)

ANYWAYS. The bread that they gave us was nice and fresh. Warm and cripsy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

I ordered the Spicy Cajun Creole Pasta and he ordered the Shrimp Spinach Feta Pasta.

The service was quick and the food came out shortly after we ordered.

Now this is only my first time coming here...but let me tell ya...DE-LICIOUS.

My creole was spicy just the way I like it with Andouille Sausage and Chicken, and bell peppers and onions and the perfect amount of parmesean cheese laced on top!

The penne was delicious and the sauce was amazing!

The boy's Feta pasta was almost better! The shrimps are huge and they come bathed in a white wine sauce that makes your taste buds ORGASM....no joke. It also came with Penne but it had feta and spinach DUH.

We boxed up the small amount we couldnt finish and the bill came to about $20. Unfortunately, if you don't have a coupon then this place is a little pricey coming out to about $15-$17 per meal for dinner. Lunch is a little cheaper.

GET A COUPON. Either way this place was great! I will come here again and hopefully get something new!

LOVE this place. I got a very delicious keg of newcastle here and it wasn't too expensive and they didn't charge me a deposit on the tap!

Super cool guys who work there and they were very helpful. Huge list of kegs DUH! It IS Mr. Kegs after all..

The beer was cool, delicious, and well worth the money spent. Good Job Senor Keg.

Oktoberfest at Old World

Ahhh Old World. You're always there for me on these chilly October nights.

I love Oktoberfest! Now I have gone a lot in the past and this year...well...sorta a downer.

Last year there were more booths, and I'm not talking cigars and beer pong. I mean Costume booths, people trying to sell me things I don't need, and more Food!

This year was very short of that. And $15 to get in on a Saturday?? EVEN if you arrive EARLIER than 6:30??? COME ON. Top it off with $8-$10 beers in leetle cups and $8 shots of Jagger that resemble something a mouse would drink out of...

oh gosh. Where has the old OLD WORLD gone too???

Still fun though. Met a lot of interesting people, especially the sexxy Oktoberfest ladies in latterhosen(Sp?)! I think the worst part of the evening(besides the overpriced and small beers) was the late 30s married man trying to pawn me and my best friend off on his OLDER brother....also a creepo.

We were 4 beers and 2 shots deep and decided to peace out by 9:30pm.

Still a good time, I wouldn't recommend paying to get in though.

Try going on a weekday or a friday and get there before 6:00pm! ITS FREE!

The Fish Joint

I came here on a lovely Sunday afternoon with the boyfriend. We couldn't decide where to eat but I knew he was craving seafood and when he saw this sign he almost made me crash yelling at me to stop here.

After driving all day I need something to drink(Non alcoholic duh. Don't drink and drive!) and something in my stomach. I was a bit dissapointed since the name made it sound like a restaurant when in fact it was mainly a sushi place. AND..incredibly expensive. I mean come on...$6 for salmon?? But needless to say, the salmon was tender and buttery soooo good.

We also ordered fish and chips. Now the fries were delicious. Sliced potatoes fresh and fried, but the fish was a different story.

I took a star off cuz basically it was disgusting. They used tempura batter which was OK but it was paired with way too soft fish meat and it seems they used about a gallon of oil to make it because it was squirting out of all ends....GROSS.

I probably would only come here again if my wallet had some DOLLA DOLLA  bills ya'll...that way I could taste the whole menu.
