The lunch is by far the best deal. Same exact thing as dinner, only a good deal less expensive. Hey, vegetarians... This place is not for you - you are probably not a good fit. at all.
Skewers of meat... All kinds. One after another. So good.
Bad first date spot. Come hungry. Don't pretend it's not tasty. Eat LOTS! All in one pricing makes this place awesome for those with an appetite for meat, but bad for calorie counting, self conscious types. Those types should go get a salad while real Americans get their grub on.

There are certainly places that cut hair for less. There are certainly places that cut hair for more. Chateau Le Rouge cuts hair in the middle.
Ok, I'm not saying it's a middle of the road hair cut. In fact, I have never had anyone ever take as much time, and spend as much attention on my thinning patch of head that Gary. He actually cares, and is proud of his work.
They do a lot more there than just the standard haircut... Unfortunately for them, I'm a dude, and I don't need my nails done...

I must say, I do love a good small business. Denver True Value, like my other favorite neighborhood hardware store, is probably one tenth the size of a small Home Depot. Still, somehow I always seem to find exactly what I need.
Additionally, unlike the Home Depot, I never find myself in there wandering around like an idiot while employees give me a vacant look, then just keep on cruisin' without a inkling of desire to assist. Nope, the staff at here are knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to lend a hand.

By far my favorite garden shop in Denver. They have a great selection, terrific staff, and they saved my Locust tree by being Plant-trinarians.
Whether it's flowers, shrub's, trees, or products to make them all grow healthy and strong, they have it all.

Liks is a treat. A fattening, tasty tasty treat!
First, I thought the place was absolutely charming when I walked in. It was a little cold out, and the first thing that hits you when you walk through the door is the wafting, rich aroma of fresh waffle cones being cooked up. Instantly hungry for some!
All of their unique ice creams are made in house, and the ones I tried were phenomenal. I ended up with a two scoop load of some heavenly cinnamon thing, and coffee / toffee / whiskey based scoop that was out of this friggin' world.
Yummy to be sure. I'll be back, just after I hit the treadmill for a month...

Clubs like Bash foster a hostile environment, attract thug douche bag idiots, and basically promote violent and immature behavior. I don't care that it exists, just move it out of downtown. WAY out of downtown. To, I don't know... Detroit, perhaps.

I guess my only complaint about the Bovine is that I don't work there. It's fun. I mean, really fun. If I had a shit-ton of cash sitting in a vault in my basement, I imagine that I would be inclined to join the troop (or buy my way in Kennedy style) and do improve for nothing more than the sheer enjoyment of it.
I had no idea that this cute little venue existed, but now that I know, I promise many returns.
The group is quite talented, and I imagine that every show is personalized to the audience at hand. It's not a 'dirty' show, more like PG rating, but clever none the less. Still, probably not the best venue for bringing your squirmy children to.

I REGRET TO INFORM MY…
What used to be Lure is now, hands down, the classiest sports pub in Denver proper. Tables all have individual TV's, and there is a projection big screen or HD flat in abundance for anything worth watching.
Here's the kicker - not a massive place, so you get SERVICE instead of goofy specials or promos (I honestly don't give a shit 'who has a little Captain in 'em...). Oh, and they have a great happy hour and good specials...
I imagine that this place will take off like a rocket. Good stuff.
