Stupidly busy on nice days and they need to figure out a more efficient beer delivery system.

That being said, great atmosphere, great beer and the beet salad is to die for.

Who knew so many douchenozzles from the Marina came out to Hayes Valley?

Terrible service too.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place ever since it opened, last night we finally got our chance and were sadly underwhelmed.

We were meeting friends and got there a bit early so we decided to sit at the bar. The first let-down was no liquor, they only had wine and beer. Luckily they had a great beer list and we both got an excellent Belgian beer, so that was good. Unfortunately the bartender was not very friendly, even borderline surly.

When we got seated there was a longer than usual wait to get served, but the server was friendly and answered all our questions. They had wine on tap so we ordered a carafe, which is usually a liter, but here it was only .75L which we thought was a bit of a bait and switch. Luckily the wine was good.

As for the food, the hushpuppies were OK, but the sauce was gross, my pork shoulder was pretty good, but not the best I've had. My wife ordered ribs that were not really that good at all, the ribs at Rutherford Grill are MUCH better.

All this, and the check came to $225 for 4 people. We didn't hate it, but with all the good food choices in the city, I doubt we'd go back any time soon.

The only place I've had better Shawerma is in Berlin.

Food was bad, service was poor, and it made my ass explode.

BEst coffee in San Francisco, and an added bonus is that they already know what I want when I walk up to the counter.

The owner, Harry Fox, said that he always wants a satisfied customer and will always take care of any problems and he always returns your calls.

I had my 2009 Subaru Forester detailed at this car wash and they damaged the dashboard of my car with some chemical. When I told Mr Fox about it he claimed "there is no way" his shop did it, but after further research I know his shop did it, so I called him and asked for a resolution to the problem.

3 days later, still no return phone call and no resolution to the problem.

This place is HORRIBLE, do not go there.

If I were basing the review only on the location and the view: 5 stars.

But the service: 1 star.

The location is great, although it is a bit hard to find, we managed to drive by the hotel 3 times before finally finding the entrance. The room was nice, it was huge, had a nice bed and a great view. It did smell a bit and the Air Conditioning was horrendously loud.

The pool was nice too.

Now, on to the service, it was terrible from top to bottom, but here's a few highlights.

1. There was only decaf in the room coffee bar.
2. The maids never cleaned our room.
3. The service in the restaurant was insanely slow.
4. You practically had to tackle someone to get a towel at the pool.

This could be a great hotel, but they really need to step up their service, because it's terrible.

After having the worst dealer experience ever at Concord Fiat (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) I almost didn't buy a Fiat at all.

But, after dealing with Joel at Fiat of Fremont, I'm glad I stuck it out because he was honest, professional and didn't try to pull any fast ones on me at all. Not to mention he got me the EXACT car I wanted within 48 hours, color, transmission, everything.

I also have to give props to Carlos in their finance department, he was straightforward and honest and he didn't try to hide any extra fees or "features" in my price.

And even after the sale, Joel has been super helpful.

Don't buy a MINI, buy a FIAT from Joel at Fiat of Fremont, trust me on this one.

If I could give this dealer zero stars, I would. Their business tactics are unethical to the point that it borders on criminal.

1. They promised they could get us a car they didn't have on the lot, but when we asked them to, they did everything they could not to. They took all our personal information before they would even do a search.

2. Once they did the search they LIED that the car we wanted was not available because they tried to sell us one they had. One quick call to another dealer proved that they were lying.

3. They said the best interest rate they could give on a loan was 8% (also a lie) and when they gave us what the payment would be, it was WAY high. I did some research later and found out they were trying to get us to pay 14%

4. Once we walked, they called us and the car we wanted "magically" appeared and the interest rate "magically" went down to 2.9%

Needless to say, we will NOT be buying anything from this dealer and will be filing a complaint with Fiat USA. Show owner comment »
