Went in tonight after a friend bragged on the early bird special. The food was B+ or A-OK... a romantic dinner well worth the (half price) $10 entrees. I had the crab ravioli and they may have forgotten to put crab in it but it was filled with something good. My girlfriend got the penne vodka which was a huge bowl of pasta and tasted great along with the calamari appetizer which we split. Generous portions and enough for 2 people to split. The total bill with tip was only $33 and an awesome value!
ooowe bad reviews. Hey, I like the place, nevermind MSG overload! The prices are LOW and the crab legs on given nights ROCK! Never had cold food but I am selective on the items I eat here. They've got cookies & cream ice cream so I was sold on day 1. Hot tea and noodles, crab legs, egg rolls and a mix of beefy like dishes you'd find on Strange Foods with Andrew Zimmerman LOL!! Overall rating is... "I'll go back for 12 bucks and a huge selection."
I was in a brokers cram course at the local real estate board when thanks to Yelp iPhone App, found 'Char-Hut Nob Hill'.
Day 1. Hamburger with the basics (& BBQ of course), fries and a fountain drink... $8 and tasty. I liked watching them make it in front of my Subway style.
Day 2. Sushi grade Tuna sandwich with onion rings and it was ROCKIN! I would definitely recommend this place and seek it out if I were in the area again. Fast, cheap and delish!! I would bet everything they have is great. Oh yeah and both days were full with customers.

I don't get to go to The Abbey enough but looking for good import beers in SoBe... this is the place! Gets packed with only enough seating for about 50 but a cool vibe and GREAT beers! The food well, let's just stick to the beer here ; ) Walk to Lincoln Rd. afterward only a few steps North.

Lookout fresh fish market in Miami... This hidden gem was obsolete from my 9 years of living here until my friend, who's a captain, urged me to go.. The place is as simple as it gets (paper towels and plastic utensils) and yet has the freshest catch in Miami Dade. Buy fish straight off the boat or have the cook grill, blacken or fry for a delicious sandwich with sweet potato fries ($10)! Mmmm.. The free crab salads a nice start too. Trust me SoBe it's worth the mapping to get there!

Front Porch Cafe

A locals favorite. Everything is fresh, plentiful and priced well for Ocean Drive.. forget about it, this place rocks for lunch, brunch and breakfast! The chicken curry and Thai salad is outrageous.. Find Front Porch just below the Penguin Hotel (14th) with the short line out front... See you there!
