This place used to be good, but is now so thoroughly commercialized and run by arrogant, inconsiderate hipsters that they won't be getting my business anymore. It's maybe good for a drunk midnight snack, but stay away otherwise.

Also, delivery takes over 2 hours (not an exaggeration) and the guy on the phone makes every excuse in the book as to why it hasn't arrived yet. And on top of that, he was extremely rude. There's never any excuse for rudeness, but when your food is meh and you've made a mistake, own up to it.

Edit: Turns out they lied about ever even making the order. The food never showed.

Overrated and overpriced. Service is average to mediocre, and the food takes its sweet time. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I feel that this place has fallen prey to being more trendy than it's worth.

I love this place. The wait is usually pretty long, but it's worth it. Some of the other things on the menu are okay, but the apple eggs benedict is amazing. It's the perfect combo of sweet and savory. Also, I resist the bowl of hot chocolate during the wintertime.

I dream about the Scuttlebutt. Probably the best sandwich I've had. Expensive, but worth it once in a while.

4 stars for their damn uncomfortable stools. Though they're probably uncomfortable on purpose. The place is usually pretty crowded during meal times.

A little pricey for what you get, but their soba is authentic and amazing on a chilly night. Tastes good, but the downside is that I'm always hungry 2 hours later. What can I say, I'm a fatty.

Go here for their boba. Some of the food is decent. I like the toast. But beware -- I wouldn't touch their "ramen" with a 10 foot pole.

Simply put, I basically live here.

Get the beef dol sot bi bim bap. Best in Williamsburg, and very decently priced, too. I don't recommend the sushi, despite the name.

The staff is super nice, and they give you hot green tea in the wintertime, which is a godsend.

Last summer, Juliette decided to not serve brunch on their rooftop, eliminating the only reason I would want to go here. Service is generally poor, food is so-so, and prices are high for what you get. Lots of babies crying and kids bumping into your chair, too.

This place is right down the street from my apartment, and I'm thankful that there is such a variety of different beers so close by.

That said, this place is always unbearably crowded (and hot, in the summertime) that many times it's not worth it.

Sometimes they have fun German folk music to dance along to.

The delicious food here is only made more awesome by the wonderfully ironic feeling of eating non-kosher foods in the no mans land border between hipsters and Hasidic Jewish communities in Williamsburg.

Pretty much everything on the menu is good -- you can't go wrong. As for the portions, they're small plates, so maybe 2 to 2.5 per person for two guys.

The flavors definitely punch you in the face, but there's some subtlety if you try really hard to find it.

Go to Dram afterwards for great drinks.
