There's just something oddly thrilling about having a roll thrown at you from across the room and watching others catch rolls from across the room. The workers are what make this restaurant fun. The atmosphere is like none other. The food can be fun too with some meals being HUGE, but I won't spoil it and tell you which ones! Be sure to buy the book about the restaurant and read the hilarious true story told through letters from beginning to end.
Bella Italia is one of the nicer restaurants in Cape Girardeau. The food and the service are always top notch. This is a great place to go for a nice family get-together or a dinner for two. The complimentary bread with olive oil, parmesan cheese, and spices before the meal is excellent.
We love Pagliai's and have never heard a bad word about it from anyone. The cozy small pizza parlor feel, coupled with the friendly atmosphere of guests in nearby booths who always seem to be enjoying themselves too, make this a comfortable place to relax. The servers are always friendly with a smile on their face. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but you expect that with a family run business trying to keep up with the busy crowds, so always plan to sit back, relax, and enjoy our time. The salad bar is small, but always fresh and good quality; I always get the salad bar with my order. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the food.
