When the Tavineer Ace Hardware is out of what we need, I sometimes come here. This a bit south for me, but it might be just what you are looking for.

My mother-in-law is a Pinecrest JAP, born and raised.
Well, 1/2 JAP anyways.

The point is: the chick has bling.

She has gotten a lot of it from Maurice's. She has been going here for years.

So when the opal fell out of one of my rings, I took it here to get repaired. Opals are extremely sensitive and you need to trust your jeweler.
They also re-sized several of my rings (Pregnancy will permanently change a lot on a girl).

Pleasant, quick, professional and good.

When the ACE HARDWARE that is closer to the house is out of something, we come here.
Or if we need wood.
Really, they are a nicer store, all around.
They are a "local" hardware store, with old guys to help you out.
(Can't be a good hardware store without the old guys.)

They have basically anything you will need, unless it is a special job.
Hey, this is still the keys, limited houses, limited customers; have reasonable expectations.

If you know you have a special job, hit the Home Depot in Florida City before you hit the stretch on your way down.

I feel so spoiled.

I mean, I write enough decent reviews to become ELITE and for that little bit of effort I get THIS?

I could go on and on about the view of the city, the sandy beach and comfy lounge beds, the delicious dim sum and the hand massages. But the clincher was actually when the party was over. That was the quickest, most orderly and polite valet I have ever experienced. We were told to expect a wait, with so many people attending. All of our party hadn't even made it to the front before the car was brought around.

I really don't know what you are going to do next. I think trips to the moon aren't out of the realm of possibility.

Baklava factory - you filled me up. Mai Tardi - I still think there is crack in the beat chips w/ goat cheese. Indian Palate- The chicken curry risotto was very good. 2 girls one cupCAKE- The guava filled is divine & your cream cheese icing yummy. Todo Frio - I guess I was on a guava kick, yummy too.

Artisan Brands - The make your own berry drinks were awesome. I don't even drink and I had some. And I just love the idea; it is something you could easily do at home.

The fire dancer was sic. In a good way. The sand castle, romantic. I couldn't stop watching the belly dancers all night. And I dug the Indian drums.

I think that all Walgreens that AREN'T 24 hour should have a map on their front door showing where the nearest 24 hour store is.

The time to realize that your local Walgreens isn't a 24 hour store is not when you are sent out for medicine at 2 AM by a miserable sick person and now have to do a wild goose chase down US1.

Of course, maybe you should have a stocked medicine cabinet in the first place, but that is not the point right now.

And although most pharmacies are slow, this one seems particularly.

This Walgreen's also has old photo center computers. I go to the CVS in the Publix shopping center on US1 & 144st. Those are some easy to use photo machines.

The parking lot is horrible to get out of. There is no point in waiting to make a left. Just resign yourself to the right turn and turn around when you can.

If it wasn't for the old guys, I may have given them 2 stars.

They are always out or low on stock. The store is small, and needs a little sprucing up. Hey, business is down in the keys; it must be rough.

But like any good Ace Hardware, they have knowledgeable old guys that can help you find anything and tell you how to fix or build anything.
That is worth a lot.

Also, they are close. So we keep coming, even though they sometimes don't have what we need. Maybe with some more business... who knows?

If they don't have what you need, then you have 2 choices: North or South.

North is KLI hardware and they have lumber.
South is Dixie Aluminum and hardware.

Why not 5 stars? He's expensive.

I have United Health Care and he is considered out of network which means I have to meet my out of network deductible first, before they cover him. Up to that deductible, is ALL me.

But they are amazing. There are the Grusky brothers and also a younger Mr. Kaplan.

I had a lower back pain that developed from sitting crooked to face the computer on a work desk. If I turned my back a certain way, it was bad.

But I was also 2 months pregnant and couldn't have an Xray. He could feel that my pelvis wasn't lined up right and I did a series of adjustments with him.

The pain went away completely, and will also say that I can't remember a single headache while pregnant. Once your body is properly aligned, and things are flowing right, you feel better all over.

I know people are cautious of chiropractors always wanting you to come back. But it is very similar to your dentist. If you come in every 6 months to realign things, you prevent serious stuff.

I thought that was pretty cute.

My father and I went in to browse. If you ask my father, he is always in the market for a new bike.

But we were keeping an eye out for a bike that suit me. He is thinking of doing a motorcycle trip through Alaska and doesn't do anything without his children. I sold my bike years ago and usually just borrow one of his when we go riding. But for a long distance trip, you need something you are truly comfortable on.

That means you look at the BMWs.
The gentleman that we spoke to was beyond informative. It is always nice to talk to a true motorcycle enthusiast. He knew everything about every bike in his showroom and could compare them to the older models not even made anymore.

They lost a star because their selection could have been bigger. But that may be an unfair comparison since we are coming from Florida, where you can ride all year round.

This park is located inside the Saga Bay development, on the SE side of the lake.
Great all around neighborhood park.

Sizeable plot of open grass. (great for ball games)

The tennis courts are first come first serve.
There is no supervision of any sort at this park. It is a small neighborhood park.

This is the coolest and most comprehensive Harley Dealership I've ever been too.

And with my father, every new city we go to, we check out the Harley dealership.

They have a full retro dinner INSIDE the show room.
Of course, they have a ton of bikes to look at.
But they also have the showroom set up as a mall.

My 9 month old little girl came out of there with a complete Harley wardrobe. My favorite, a pink onsie that says: GRANDPA RIDES A HARLEY.

This place was just so totally awesome. If you are near Cleveland and you like to ride, this is a must stop.
