Went there last night to celebrate a friend's birthday.. Surprisingly, the place was rather empty.. Oh well, more service for us and it was fine..

The food, not bad.. I liked the corn kernel munchies, can't say I'm a fan of the sauce that comes with it, but, other people in our party seemed to like it..

Appetizers - I liked the Papa A La Huanciana and their Corn + Cheese dish. The cheese was kinda tasteless like paneer, so, it went well with the Huanciana sauce from the other appetizer

Main Dish - I got the sphagetti and my husband got their lomo vegetariano. Both OK.

Drinks - We got their non-alcoholic blue corn drink.. Tasted kinda like "Kokam" ... Interesting..

On this one friday evening, when we didn't have any plans with friends, we wanted to do something nice, yet low key.. So, we decided to go here.. We got there at around 8:30pm, put our names down and were told that it would be about a 1/2 hour wait.. Knowing that it would take just as long at other places as well, we decided to stick it out and wait for our table. Got seated at our table on the upper patio earlier than we had expected. When we first got there, we were thinking of just having their paninis.. But, we saw the big pizza on the next table and decided to get one as well.. We shared a mozzrella, basil and pesto panini and a Margherita pizza with carmelized onions. We also had their peach iced tea. The panini was good.. A little cold. The pizza was huge.. Had half at the restaurant and took the other half home and had it for dinner a few days later.. Pizza wasn't exactly what we were expecting, but, tasted just fine. The iced tea was good too.

Our waitress was nice and attentive. But, it took them way too long to get our food. Could be that they were busy with the friday rush. Definitely worth another visit.

We tend to go there over the weekends for brunch.. Its a tiny place with about 10 tables.. If you go there at around 11ish, be prepared to wait a while for a table.. I generally get their grilled bagel with cream cheese.. They grill it to perfection and it has a liberal coating of cream cheese. One of the things that I like is that they apply the cream cheese before they bring it out to the table. The coffee is not bad.. My husband generally gets their eggs or french toast.. Both good.. Other friends get lunch items. I've heard that their soups and sandwiches are good too. Not a bad local place to go hang out at on weekends..

Went there last december around christmas time on a saturday evening.. We had made reservations and when we got there, the place looked kinda empty. This got us a little apprehensive. But, the moment the food arrived, those apprehensions went out the window.. We got their famed arancini and it did live up to the hype.. And for the main courses we got butternut squash ravioli and margerita pizza. They were both good. Looking forward to going back again.

I went to chola with very high hopes given the reviews. And, I was disappointed. Their appetizers were good, but, the rest of the buffet was sub-par. There weren't many vegeterian dishes. The ones that they did have were way too heavy on garlic. The food was cold and stale (ie, from that morning when they laid out the buffet).

I probably wouldn't go here again

We stayed there during the 4th July weekend and loved the place. We had our room on the 1st floor and felt that we heard too much street noise. Next time, we'll try to book it in advance and try to get one of the rooms on the 2nd floor.

Pros:
The location as the name suggests is very "central" to all the activity.
The staff there was helpful and nice.
The room was clean and had everything that they had promised online
Free off-street parking
Free Wi-Fi
Free Coffee
Free board games
Free Ice (Which we used to chill Champagne)
$10 Gift card per night for a local restaurant called Geddy's

Cons:
No Breakfast
No water cooler
No snacks

Update 6/7/08 ---

Have decreased a star! Went there with a bunch of family members on a saturday night.. The place was empty.. Notice, this is what happened to us the previous time as well.. We ordered the food, and this time the quantity had decreased and there is no "Free Rice".. WHAT!!!! We weren't completely shocked, just disappointed.. Will have to think twice before going there again..

Went there after on a recommendation from a friend. When we got in, we were the only customers there. This made me a bit apprehensive. But, it was the day before thanksgiving, and as we were leaving couple other parties did come it. So, I guess, it was OK

I got Paneer Mirchi - It was very delcious.. The portions were manageable. My friend got some Indo-Chinese chilli chicken.. That was OK. Another friend got Haleem - I didn't taste it, but they said it was good.

They don't serve rice with the haleem and indo-chinese dishes. The naan was OK.

The food was not as spectacular as I was expecting, but, definitely worth another trip.

Parking can be a problem in the area. We had to circle the block a few times before we found a spot couple blocks away.

Went there with couple people on a friday evening.. It wasn't as packed as I had expected it to be, so, we got a table outside and sat down. The first thing we noticed were that their water glasses weren't clean. They had particles of food stuck on them from the dishwasher.. These were replaced with an apology.. Good Good.. Next we ordered a bottle of kingfisher thinking it would  come in a big bottle for the table, instead it was just a tiny little bottle for one person.. Oh well.. The rest of us decided to have some Lassis instead.  My friend ordered one of their lamb dishes and peshawari naan. She didn't complain, so, I guess it must not have been that bad. My boyfriend and I ordered their Mumtaz Thali which is a veg. dinner for 2. It comes with soup, samosas, 2 veg. entrees of your choice, naan, rice, raita, dessert, and coffee or tea.

Soup - OK not bad..
Samosa - Yuck! Felt like they were re-fried
Naan - Good
Veg Entrees - Malai Kofta and Shahi Paneer - Wait, were there 2 entrees? They both looked and tasted the same
Raita - Not bad
Dessert - Mango Creme Brulee - Eh Theek.. and Gajar Halwa - Also, Theek.
Coffee or Tea - WE WEREN'T EVEN OFFERED THIS.

I think the dinner was a rip off. Not sure if I ever want to go there again.

I went here last week after reading the yelp reviews and I was very very disappointed. All I wanted was a nice pedicure to start off the summer.....

I got there a little earlier than my appointment time and the first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the smell of all the chemicals. They didn't even have an exhaust fan. Is this healthy? I'm not too sure.. My mom had also accompanied me, so, we got an appointment for her as well.

The lady who did my pedicure was really nice, but, incompetent. I'm not sure if they even washed the tub from the lady before... eek!! Also, their pedicure chairs face the street, so, if you are wearing a skirt, ladies, all your underthings are quite visible to all the people walking down the street..

OK, getting back to the pedicure, she an OK job of scrubbing my feet and even asked me what length I wanted on my toe nails.. And then she started painting the toe nails.. And, guess what, she painted over my cuticles.. SERIOUSLY!!! And, now its peeling near those cuticles... The color is OK.. I was hoping for a little darker color, but, they didn't have it.. The only saving grace for the place was that the lady was very nice and friendly..

My mom's pedicure was also OK.. No great shakes.. And, they don't accept credit cards..

I guess my quest for that perfect pedicure place continues..

Tagline - They have invested in everything else except for a chef...

Pros :

Plenty of parking
Nice ambience

Cons

Bad food

So, I was there last saturday with a few people. We went there because it looked new and had parking. Well, the fact that it had parking should have been our first clue.. But, we wanted to give this place a chance..

We opted for their buffet lunch. The buffet wasn't all that extensive.. Had the typical saag paneer, paneer chilly, lamb something, chicken something, dal makhani, etc.. They also had these dahi chat things for appetizers. And for dessert they had, gulab jamun, jello, some form of pudding and besan laddoo

All the dishes seemed to have *something* missing. The only good things were the dahi chat appetizers and the gulab jamuns. The paneer chilly wasn't that bad, once they brought some fresh prepared servings out.

I hate to give out bad reviews, but, for an indian establishment in NJ, I was very disappointed.
