I got a decent rate for a Fri. stay. I found a few nice properties cheaper, but because of platinum status w/ Marriott, I chose this property thinking I'd have my normal access to the concierge lounge (free snacks / light dinner, and free breakfast)-- It turns out their lounge is not open on Fri and Sat. Bummer...
The hotel is nice, rooms spacious, good location. I like the vibe here better than the Marquis, but it doesn't have the upstairs lounge like the Marquis.
Parking, like most SF hotels is sky-high- About $50 a night. I parked 2 blocks away at a garage for $11 (in after 5pm, out next AM by 9pm) The standard garage next door is about $31 a night.
A decent hotel, I just wish it was clear about what services were open and closed during weekends. Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed somewhere else on this visit.

Made a quick trip into LAS for CES. The Renaissance is a great non-casino oasis near the convention center.
Modern hotel, friendly staff, and easy access to the strip, airport, monorail, etc.
There is a lounge and a restaurant, but no casino, club, or anything like that.
This is normal hotel, in the midst of the asylum. I'd stay here again.

Had a great lunch at SolBar. Nice atmosphere and some tasty food.
Ordered the Lucky Pig (pull apart, Chinese style pork) and a few starters and had way too much food. The Lucky pig says (for 2), but can be split w/ 3 or 4 if you order a starter or 2. I'd return just for the Lucky Pig....
Service was excellent, relaxed, and it was a killer place to hang out on a rainy day.
I'd like to head back in good weather when bocce is in full effect.

Quaint, laid back, friendly vibe- Dogs walking all over, a small tasting "shed", and zero attitude.
This is a nice stop with some earthy juice- I think their basic Pinot is beautiful (Fiona) and has fruit, but restraint.
If you want high alc fruit bomb stuff, this is not your place.

A decent spot to spend the night.
Stayed on the concierge floor, had a great view, and the concierge lounge has a nice view as well.
My only real issue is that the rooms do not have wireless internet access. I have no idea why many Marriott's are so behind w/ this.
There is wireless in the lobby, that wasn't working when I was there.
If you have to work (from a hotel) being tethered to a desk is all 1999...

Slid in and bought 6 fried chicken drums-
Wing 1: Didn't get it. A seemingly plain fried wing.
Wing 2: Something going on here...
Wing 3-6: Engulfed liked they were filled with some tasty crack-like substance that turns you into a living god....

Great pork bun for $.70... A bit of a madhouse inside on a Sun. AM.
You'll eat it standing outside on the street next to the bus stop.

After watching all of the ATL excitement surrounding this spot from the West Coast, it was a must-visit on my holiday break.
Ordered the margherita and bianco (girlfriend is veggie).
Thick, doughy, hefty pies dropped on our table... The bianco lacked anything but weight- No snap, bite, seemingly lacking in salt.
The margherita- tasty sauce, nice cheese, but to me, all the flavor was just lost in a sea of doughy crust. Tried them both reheated the next day (as was advised by a pizza nerd friend) and still not my style.
I'll prefer Varasano's and Fritti (pre-antico).

Their cinnamon sugar donut is rocking. I often just poke my head in and grab one for the road.
Sitting down, it is a locals joint, where food costs 1/2 of what it would 2 blocks away. There is nothing fancy here- nothing gourmet, but just solid, morning-after, breakfast food.
Service is cheery, and though perhaps some places serve "better" food, you'll won't get a better bang for your buck, and it is a fav. spot of mine.
