Stayed here due to flight delay. Stay paid for by AA.
Called hotel numerous times for shuttle around 9PM sat eve. Took them 30min to send one. Shuttle got filled, hotel unable to send out another one so we had to wait for it to go to hotel and come back. good 45 min wait.
At checkin was asked when we wanted to be awakened. I said 4.15.
come 3.55 i get a call.WTFFFFFFFF
When i went to see the time they wrote down for the call request, i see 4am across for everyone in the group, 20+. They asked each person when they wanted to be awakened yet put the same time down for all.  WTFFFF. if you are going to ask each person, then WRITE down whatever we say than same time for all. Front desk offered to comp my room. This does me no good since i didn't pay for it.

As for the room, nothing fancy. free wifi, towels not that soft but...

Went shopping here day after xmas... Yea xmas holidays will bring a lot of business to a popular store. One would expect managment to hire enough staff to man the register and help customers with questions.

Waited in line10min. They only have 2 registers for the entire store  both were open,thank god. (see my rant about hollister). Line doubled by the time I left. (this was 11.30AM.

The Plus, they had a 3rd person there helping to pack, but i didn't find that 3rd person to be that helpful as I don't think she contributed that much. The cashiers seem chatty among themselves than focusing on ringing up sales.

They need self checkout machines if they are going to have only 2 registers for the ENTIRE store.

Good luck losing business due to long lines...

When I inquired why cashier was like oh one of them was on break. I went at 11am on a weekday, didn't they just START working!??!? I'm all for following CA labor laws but really? you can't find another employee to take the spot?

here's how my convo went:
ME Hello do you take CC?
Them: yes we do  minium $50
ME: Do you take USD
Them: Yes, at rate of 1USD = 80C CAD
Me: Are you aware that the USD is worth MORE than the CAD

I know the USD was worth maybe like 0.95 CAD at some point, but 1USD to 80CAD, are you out of YOUR MIND. you are worse than the rates at the stands at major airports.....

Had a big party at the banquet room. Their cost was $40+ pp.
calmari and stuffed mushrooms as the appetizers, couple salads as the first course, 2nd course was pork loin, salmon, rigatoni and something else, desert was tiramisu and cheesecake. Given that our total bill was $1k+ i asked for some desert to take home, answer was kitchen was closed. come on, we just spent $1k at 40+ a pop BEFORE TAX AND MANDATORY GRATUITY, the least you can do is give me a slice or some desert to take home. the food wasn't that great at $50 including tax and all i should have had lobster and whatever!!!!! sooooooooooooo NOT worth it. greatest ripoff of my life. never ever going back in my life. Do not get the buffett, you will not spend $40 per person or eat all that stuff

i'm a guy, i dun visit such stores. dun ask me why but I have a couple of cbtree gc that I got from discover reward program. I had a friend who was getting married and she was ok w/ getting this store's gc as a gift. I did not want to give multiple gc bearing the discover wording as it looks gay. So I went to the store hoping to buy one gc from my two gc that I got from discover. No where do the cards from discover state that I cant use it buy gc from the store. I'm someone who likes to follow terms and conditions of store policies. If the store didn't state that the consumer can't do xxx in writing then the consumer has the right to conduct the xxx transaction w/o being hassled!!'
so when I was confronted, I simply asked the 3 cashiers where it states that I can't buy a gc w/ a gc. Their response was my gc wasn't a cbt issued gc and that the that store policy didn't allow it. I wanted to see their written policy, which they could not provide. I retorted, is it that YOU won't allow it or the register won't allow the transaction to go through. I was very confident the register would enable me to buy the gc w/ my discover gc.

The whole point of me was to combine the damn gcs into one and make it look nicer. A gc is gc, not like I'm trying to get cash back. The back of the cards all say not redeemable for cash, I wasn't trying to redeem it for cash!!. I'm going to complain to corporate - I highly doubt they will sympathize w/ me as rumor has it they also have some policy on restricting quantity of goods customers can purchase. How gay is that? One figures you'd want to increase revenue by increasing sales from your most loyal customers.... Anyways this is a store run by whales, what do you expect..... if I wanted to go buy a girl or perfume etc, I'm hopping down to VS or Nordstrom. ThE CbTE stores got this really nasty smell, I don't get why girls dig such oders...anyways... good luck selling ur limited over priced junk!!!

Lady on phone, I'm the owner of the place and i know we updated the website and it doesn't state that we do (in a rude tone).
me; well just so you know i'm looking at your site right now and it states that you do.
Lady on phone, well we don't and hangs up on me.
i go in to order stuff... line is about 20 deep, one register.... what kind of biz they running...i wait for 10 min and leave....

Had a coupon for b1g1.
ordered shrimp portofino and chicken marsala.
order experience was good, in and out ++
neg: portions little small. i was hoping to only eat one entree and save the other for dinner. i basically ate both entrees and was stuffed. pricey for the portions served. they didnt skimp out, gave a few shrimps and the veggie was FRESH

Their pictures on the wall and menu are EXTREMELY misleading.
i ordered the seafood tofu. $8
there was one shrimp, 1 mussel and 1 clam. WTFFF
i even confronted the waitress asking them if they missed a few shrimp clam etc in my soup. answer was no

the non spicy broth was tasteless.
i've been to many other tofu houses and this one is the worst.

save your money and go some other place please.

I have been here 3x, not a good experience. 1st time. waited for our food for 30 min... just some pho...
2nd time togo order, it was ontime but still included stuff i told them not to include. scallion onion etc.
3rd and LAST TIME.
I called the place up at 11.45, please have my order ready at 12.30, DO not be late. guy goes, don't worry we not that busy i will put it in 10 min b4 12.30 i once again stress make sure its ontime.
i show up at 12.30. Hello is my order ready. Ohhh.. it's not sorry, we just had a rush. I'm like did i tell you multiple times to make sure its ready. he goes it will ready in 10 min. i leave the guy my num.. 12.45 hello is it ready yet nononono.... man this place's food isn't that good either just some overpriced food at a somewhat ok location -downtown bus workers.
I tell them everytime not to include xyz they include it. you'd figure they'd be happy that i dun take the stuff to reduce their costs .... when a cust asks for something LISTEN else just be up front .... AND DON'T BE LATE, being late shows you disrespect other people. giving you an hr to prepare 2 cups of soup is UNACCEPTABLE. when i complained the manager, apparently the cook he was like i wasn't involved i duno.. sorry wtf.. of course you weren't involved, u were COOKING.
the ONLY reason why i went was cuz of GP, no other reason. 7-10 bucks for some pho is expensive, and def not worth that price.
