This place has got the BEST XLB in the bay area. I used to go SDK in SF for theirs but relatively this place's xlb is the BEST! $6 for 8?
The decor of this place is above par, you can even take your non-azn-whities here and they wouldn't feel like they are in some dirty chinese restaurant. They have LCD TVs broadcasting american shows and decorations that makes you feel you are in shanghai. They have a good selection of lunch specials for $5.95, i'd recommend the #22. They waiters here do speak Shanghainese so that provides some assurance of the authenticity of the food!

was here for lunch. place was PACKED. apparently they are known for their beef noodles.-- 5.99 for a huge bowl. i had the beef w/ tendon bowl for 6.99, very good soup base. only neg is the noodles are a little too hard for my taste.  service was also fast, you'll be able to get your stuff in under 5 min. would definitely drop by again for the noodles. they do have a min of $5 per person.

majority of entrees were under 10 with exception of a couple of bbq items. i believe prices top out at 15. i had their ramen, it was ok. nothing too special.

Came here with my GF for her dermatologist visit due to acne problems. She got a referral from a family friend.

First impression of this office, is this a beauty salon or a doctor's office? they got a boutique shop filled w/ random overpriced junk , posters of ads for lipo, skin thearpy, massage stuff...

Here are the main reasons why i am giving this place a bad review.
1. She booked appt well in advance for 3.30 appt on a saturday. We get a call from the office at 1.30PM the SAME day, FORCING her to RESCHEDULE to 2.30. WTF IS THAT?!?!?!? when we are late or don't provide sufficient notice to Dr's, patients pay ridiculous fine for no show, what kind of doctor changes these things w/ no notice??
we get there are 2.30, we were not seen until after 3pm. i do not care the reason why the doctor can't see us, unless it's an EMERGENCY, you agreed to xyz time, you stick with it. ppl have lives and busy schedules, if you have empty slots in between and want to take the sat off early, not my problem, should have thought of this before agreeing to give out that appt. Personally, i also will not tolerate waiting in line for 30 min to see a doc, esp when i make an appt time for xyz time. if you will not be on time, fuck the appt system.

2. Doctor prescribes this overpriced tablet --NON GENERIC-- where as there is a generic available in different but similar strength. obviously there's some kickback going on!!! this is the exact reason for ballooning medical insurance rates.
3. they do the upsell during this office visit and tries to get her to buy two bottles of xyz for $50. wtfffff. she paid for it but i made her go return it. if it is a medically required item, it would be covered by prescription, not paid out of pocket. we do not need your overpriced "protopic" or similar products.
4. last pointer to add. i called the nurse to get the prescription revised to the generic version's strength. receptionist told me they'd return phone call within 1 hr. i waited for over an hr, i call them back, they change their story to they check it over lunch, not hourly basis. it's 1.10pm, i call them back, their receptionist  goes, "i don't know who told u how often they check their msgs, they only do it when they have time or the next day. WTFFFFF-- why the different responses.
5. my gf was at Nordstrom before her doctor's visit, they had some free make up, facial session thing going on, her face was COVERED WITH MAKE UP. dr NOODLEMAN didn't even asked her to REMOVE the make up and treated her condition based on the covered face, wtffffff. this shows that he is either a psychic or an idiot .

6. MUST ADD ANOTHER REASON WHY THE DOC IS AN IDIOT

so i tried getting the nurse to change my prescription from NAME BRAND to generic. The doctor WOULD NOT DO it. (the out of pocket copay for myself is identical due to devious tricks from the drug manufacturer) The nurse says the reason is that the generic is not extended release type therefore the doc wants us to go for the name brand. Because i have done my homework for my GF, i have googled and talked to MULTIPLE pharmacies that the generic version of the SAME DRUG and is extended release.  i told the nurse that the doc is WRONG. hey noodleman, are you sure you are an MD?!??!?! i don't have a Doctorate but i am very good at using google and talking to pharmacists. all i spent was 5 minutes (ok fine maybe longer) on the phone with multiple well trained pharmacists at CVS and RITEAID, they all have confirmed that the drug is extended release. go back to school and stop ripping your clients off.

call me too trustworthy but the FDA would not classify anything that is NOT COMPATIBLE IF THEY ARE NOT 100% COMPATIBLE.

Had the doc's reason been i want her to have a stronger dose or the xxMG is too weak and the generic is only available in XX strength, i would have bought his excuse.

-- end result, i shut the nurse up and got her to give me the generics. so fellow yelpers, do you really want to pay big bucks to see an incompetent hollywood type of doctor??? your call!!

more fuck ups by their nurses.
so i told the nurse the strength and type of the compatible generic to authorize. when i got the the pharmacy, they filled it for a 50mg non extended release generic. i was SHOCKED. how complicated is it to take explicit directions? makes me wonder the accreditation of their staff. thank god i'm knowledgeable in the meds and that these meds aren't life threatening blackbox types. i will update my review w/ further findings

these SIX pts *(originally 4) show that this place is not in it for the patients and that they are in it to sell beauty products and to rip off the patients.

this place was PACKED with customers, 11.30am all the way to 1pm. line out the door long. i'm basing my review relative to the one by lawrence/el camino.
Gobi is cheaper BUT has limited selection of veggies. not that i'm crazy for veggies but i did not locate spinach. the meat did not look as fresh.. The noodles were also harder. only appetizers i found were egg rolls, nothing else. the guys who work the burner do it faster than the other place, all azn as opposed to Hispanics.  the decor of this place gives a newer, contemporary feel.

I found the place via friends. This place (chain) was featured on a tw food show, that got me more curious and prompted me to check it out.
What i liked. the food was very tasty, lotta meat, thick noodles, got a nice decor and all.
i did not enjoy the fact that i had to COOK it myself. they just dump a bunch of raw meat on a sizzling plate and expect ME to cook it--not cool.
i'm paying to be served, not to be the chef. i told them to go cook it for me and they obliged :)

very good HH prices.
4 beers, 5 wells and wine.
huge burgers for $8 with 6 onion rings. other appetizers for ~6 or less.
did not locate the $2 garlic fries as mentioned by other yelpers.
very yummy and filling!
they also do parking validation, yay!

i was on my way to my bodyshop to get an estimate but dropped by this place to get estimate as they were on the way.
i had some minor scrape on my 1 day OLD bumper :(
they offered to buff and touch up the damaged area FREE. i was expecting like 50-100 but they said no charge :)

This body shop is one of the TLC shops for my insurance carrier  i had to use them to get my vehicle repaired. they have a friendly and professional staff. they got the work done much faster than i hoped, a plus for most ppl.
they returned my 5 month old car, all washed, cleaned inside and out--impressed by this. i would definitely come back (if needed) and recommend them to others.
they have a yelp award placard by their register

i can't give this a high rating because they promised me that my comforters would be ready by TUES, i did not get it until WED.
the viet lady appears to be friendly but her missing the deadline is not excusable.
