I continue to believe this is the best steak in the US. Kobe? No. Does it need to be? NO. This place is OUTSTANDING. I go back twice a year every year.

This place is FANTASTIC. Honestly I've read reviews that say its overrated and I'm shocked. No it is NOT. If you don't like steak, don't go here. It has the character of a club from decades ago coupled with the smoking (by everyone there) to boot. Don't like that? Fine.
The service is great, the food is amazing, and they have CAKEBREAD cabernet on the list for a reasonable price. I can't say it enough, it is a must-go place. I'm going back to Milwaukee this season just for Coerper's.

Have to disagree with the previous reviewer here - I was just there this AM for the first time, and yes it's expensive (depending on what you get, because they have a LOWER price on Boar's Head meats than HEB) but you get what you pay for. And to be honest, the personal service here makes it ALL worth it. They have competitive prices for VERY HIGH END foods, so try not to damn a place for selling high end stuff and then charging the right price for it.
They've earned my repeat business after one trip. They source a LOT of stuff from locals like Emily's catering and Austin Pasta Co, and again are at prices comparable to anywhere else you can get those products.
I highly recommend them. Try it out and see for yourself.

This is a fantastic Japanese restaurant with really high quality fish. I was impressed that for a lunch time on a random Thursday the crowd was solid and high energy, the sushi bar was really well presented, and the service was good.
Definitely try the Cherry Blossom roll, that one is not only uniquely presented but absolutely delicious.

Truluck's is the kind of place that I enjoy for all kinds of events - casual dinner with a friend or business dinner with a colleague or a full on event. Last night was no exception - great crab claws and outstanding service from "Kara" I believe. And if you're a die-hard fan of Felton Road pinot, you'll be happy to know it's a staple on their wine list ;)
You won't be disappointed. It's got a steakhouse appeal and while they may have great steaks, I always go for the crab claws. Skip the mediums and do a mix of Large and Jumbo. They're just way better.

I've been to Maki a few times now and each time I make something new and tasty. I love the concept and really love the execution. Tasty rolls with all kinds of options.
Yesterday their founders spoke at our company (Bazaarvoice) and were exactly the kinds of guys you want to support - humble, honest, and extremely passionate. With a motto like "making the world better one stomach at a time" you can't go wrong.
Arbor Walk can be hard to get to but Maki is worth road rage just to have it. And ask their employees what they did to make the world better that day - they'll answer you ;)

The tasting menu here is something you MUST do if you're in Austin for more than 2 hours. The pairings were perfect and the service was over the top personal. So good.
I've saved the menu from my night there just to repeat some of the flavor-pairs. A great experience, period.

Have to admit, the international side of things really isn't full fledged here. It took over an hour because there were two people working an entire 777 worth of people - and that was just for the US citizens. The EU side was still waiting when I left. Sure, preference to US citizens, but give me a break. Who leaves 5 hours between connections? No one.
Don't arrive here internationally. Domestic - can't review it yet, but I will someday... ;)

All Apple stores are excellent. They're well designed, open and airy, the checkout system is mobile, and the staff is well trained and motivated to help. This store is NO exception. Everyone here was fantastic to work with and in the multiple visits I've had, I've always come away super happy.

I have a jack russell terrier named Icarus. He's a member of the family, literally. He gets to pick his vets, his boarders, his collar, his whatever. And you'd be surprised at how vocal a 17-pound dog can be.
Whenever I have to take Icarus in for boarding (I travel a lot) I always go here. The staff is very helfpul and accomodating, Icarus always seems happy to head back to the their boarding area, and he gets a lot of outside "dog run" time. He comes home tired and in a good mood.
I've used this vet for regular care for Icarus and they've done a great job. I definitely recommend them.
