Dan Marino's Fine Food and Spirits
Categories: Sports Bars, American (Traditional)
Decent food but the staff could use some work. It took longer than it should to receive every course of our meal. The reason I give it one star is because prior to leaving we watched as a bus boy wipe down a table then ring the water out of the rag and onto the carpet floor, nasty. We told the manager but his interest seemed elsewhere. Like Dan Marino in his day, pass on this one.
Good food and service to match. If weather permits eat outside and enjoy the South Miami scenery. Nothing out of this world but if your in the area and want to good food go and see for yourself.
Outstanding. Many people don't know about this place, which is good because its small intimate dining room cannot handle too many people. If you're going during peak dinner hours make reservations or prepare to wait. The food is unbelievably good and the prices are reasonable. I have been to almost every Italian restaurant and this is my wife and my favorite.
Great pizza. But like any real hand made pizzaria, the person making the pie has a big impact on the result so if not great the first time try again. You won't be disappointed.

WOW. The bomb cinnamon rolls and shakes. To bad there only open limited months.
Very disappointing. Not all was bad though the night started good though. We arrived before the rest of our party and the hostess was nice enough to show us around, including the club next door "The King is dead." My wife and I sat and ordered drinks Long island and a Mojito. The drinks were great but a bit pricey ($14). Skip ahead to dinner, menu is sparse and favors seafood (entrees are 4 seafood, 2 meat, and 1 chicken dishes). My party of 11 ordered at the same time but the food was delivered over a 30 minute period. My wife's Marsala-Soy Skirt steak was ok. My Ginger-Lime Mahi Mahi was sent out cold yet overcooked. If your looking to have drinks and appetizers its ok, but be prepared to spend and going during winter cause if it rains you get wet and if its hot their fans are annoying.
