Food - 3 stars
Service - 0 stars
I live in Fullerton, and have ventured here many times. Food is always good. Omelettes (spelling?) are good, and the sutffed french toast is VERY good. They have tasty eggs benedict on the weekends too! The poritons seem just barely on the small side, but maybe that's because I'm used to eating breakfast in gigantic portions at most places. All in all the food is good.
Service is another story. It has turned into a game with my girlfriend and I to see how many times it takes the server to walk by to see if we need our plates bussed and our check ready. When we are finished eating we will most of the time stack our empty plates so that it is pretty obvious that we are finished with our meal. Last time we went, our waitress walked by our table 7 times without looking at us. By the way there are maybe 10 tables in the whole place. It is very small.
Hahaha, I almost forgot that I was brought a "water" but there was no water in the glass. The server brought my coffee and "water" and I held up my glass, and asked her if I could get some water in it. She laughed and apologized, and brought me a water.
If you have some time to kill, and want some pretty good breakfast, this is a good place to try. If you're expecting 5 star service, go somewhere else.People thought this was:

My fiancee and I went in for dinner tonight. She has been there before with a friend and liked it. When we walked in, the restaurant was quiet. There was one table, and they were just finishing up. They seemed to have a few togo orders while we were there, so it was slightly promising. I ordered some summer rolls, and panang, Tessa got mussaman. Summer rolls are Vietnamese right? ;) They were not cold. They were luke warm, and the flavors were just not there. Couldn't taste the shrimp really. The sprouts over powered all of the flavors except for the extra sweet plum sauce it was served with. My panang curry was bland, and I think some of the vegetables might have been canned. Tessa's mussaman curry was a little better. The flavors were a little out of balance for me. I think the fish sauce took over most of the other flavors. Seemed like the menu and dishes were dumbed down a little bit to be more accommodating. Over all I didn't like it. Definitely not worth the price. $48.00 after tax and tip :(

A friend and I rolled in after getting kinda lost driving in circles in L.A. (i hate LA) We walked up to the door at about 5:30 or 6pm, and just sat at the bar for dinner. Our bartender, Pete, greeted us and proceeded to make me the best Negroni I have ever tasted! Somehow it wasn't overly bitter, (which they so often are), and the little piece of orange rind balanced out the drink perfectly. My friend got a drink from the menu called Grapes Three Ways. Her drink was also delicious.
Now on to the food... The bread came out first, some rustic white bread, and some pumpernickel, which was good. It's bread and it's not burnt, so it's fine. Plus I love butter. Our meal really started with a little amuse bouche of melon and cucumber over panna cotta. It was just a little spoonful bite, but it was super tasty!
Our first course came out, and looked wonderful. We had ordered the corn capaletti, and the japanese hamachi and tuscan melon. They were fucking good! The corn cappaletti is like a big dim sum-ish kind of dumpling. It has bacon and chanterelle mushrooms filling with a little ricotta cheese on the side. Very rich, sweet and savory all in one dish. The Hamachi and melon dish was a great compliment (oddly) to the rich cappaletti dish.
Our main course consisted of one main dish and two sides. We got the Beef Short Rib main dish, and upon suggestions from David (sommelier) and Pete (bartender) we got the shishito peppers and the artichoke and fried lemon risotto. The short ribs were wonderfully cooked. A couple of little pearl onions and some whole garlic cloves in the pot were a nice little addition to the tasty meat. It was sooOOOoo moist. The portions seemed small when the food was delivered, but we had trouble finishing it all. I think the most surprising part of the meal were the fried lemons in the artichoke risotto. The sour-ish / sweet lemons complimented the slightly salty risotto. And Pete's recommendation, the shishito peppers held up very well against the super rich short ribs and risotto. I don't think they would have been able to stand alone, but paired with the meat they were fantastic!
Finally, dessert came out. There was a little homemade grape soda palette cleanser wtih vanilla ice cream between dinner and dessert. Fantastic. Our glazed donuts (upon david and pete's glowing recommendation) with raspberry jam, vanilla cream, and chocolate pudding were dropped off next. Hands down the best donuts I've ever tasted. Granted, I'm not a huge donut fan in the first place, but these were GOOOD!!!! We also got the frozen sampler. Honey dew melon, white peach, and strawberry were on the plate. All three were really good. The honey dew was at the top of my list though. We took our time, had some drinks and really enjoyed ourselves. We were finally done by 10:30 or 11. Well worth the time!!
* Points of Interest *
* Service!!! Even the bartender was more confident with the menu than some of the servers are with the menu at my own job. haha!! David the sommelier was very attentive with out being intrusive, and his wine and spirits knowledge is very, very impressive. I challenge you to stump him.
* The variety and quality of spirits at the bar are fucking awesome! They have Aperol for christsakes! Pete makes great drinks too. My friend ordered a bartender's choice drink, and he made her an Absolut Pear, elderflower gimlet. Holy crap it was good. He even got me some cucumber for my gin and tonic from the kitchen. Talk about good service.
Final thoughts.... If you've got some dough to spare and you want a fucking good meal, go eat here!!!!
GO EAT HERE!!!!
* Chicken Seizue Salad Bite Guards
* Crack Baby Carrot Dip (with a Cerebral Parsley Garnish)
* ADD (Artichoke Delight Dip)
I wish I could remember the names of the rest of the themed dishes, but alas I cannot :( There were also sliders and a very tasty pink lemonade, citrusy type cocktail!!
We arrived a little later than most others, but we made it just in time food and the real festivities to begin! In celebration of Nicky's 31st birthday(or something like that ;) Audrey made a fuckin' kick ass jeopardy game, based on Nicky's life. I do not envy Del at all, because she must have had to do a shitload of research for this, not to mention write some totally awesome "Game Noir" stories! (Think film noir style dialog, describing video game plots instead) My favorite was Diablo II, but only because that was the only one I was able to answer, haha!! This game was seriously involved though... It must have taken a month to put it together... There were screen shots, music clips, game noir stories, trivia questions, and general Nicky knowledge...
tasty food, and great people ensured fun time had by all!!
I know you're jealous you weren't there :D

Beautiful property!!! I stayed in the "cheap rooms" being the one on the ground floor with a view of the parking garage... haha... The room was really nice though... Very spacious bad room, and the bathroom was as nice as some of the "deluxe suite" bathrooms I have seen in other hotels... Pretty descent casino floor... LOTS of slots and a good amount of tables... looked like a nice poker room when i walked by, same as the high stakes room... Ate at most of the restaurants inside, and they were all top notch... and fatburger is so tasty at 5 am stumbling back to your room after a hard day and then hard night of drinking :D
PROS:
*Everything (haha)
* Excellent staff
* Very comfortable rooms (bathrooms are gorgeous)
* Reasonable room rates (stayed Sunday - Wednesday at 90$ a night)
* Day Spa service is included in room rate... nice...
* Pools are amazing (both euro style (topless / salt water) and traditional pool - sandy beach included)
* Grounds are very well groomed (they have their own vineyard!! we ate some fresh grapes right off the vine)
* Surprisingly there were a lot of families staying there... nice to get to Vegas without the XXX shoved in your face all the time
CONS:
* $25-$30 cab ride to the strip (shuttles are offered, but don't run too frequently)
* XXX isn't shoved in your face all the time ;)
I don't think I will go back to Las Vegas and NOT stay here... it's worth it!!!

Still gets four stars for great atmosphere, great hookah and really great food. There is a large-ish indoor dining room if you don't like to eat outside, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone eating inside. The outdoor patio is GREAT! Tons of room for groups. The food is always good though. Their hummus and tabbouleh (speling?) is really tasty. Kabobs are always good. My friends always get Domla and Baba Ganoush (spelling?) and they LOVE them. Get the hot tea!! It's Ceylon tea with mint leaves in it. Really tasty! The coffee is also really good, although sometimes it's very, very strong, but that only happens about 1 in 10 times. Hookah is always good, although I've not been to very many hookah bars, so my opinion is skewed a little bit. But good is good, right?
This place is great to bring a group of friends, eat some tasty food together, and smoke a little hookah.
We got an appetizer, a couple of dishes, and some Naan.
*The appetizer, cheese pakora, was actually really good. The menu said it was cheese with tamarind and mint. It came out, and I couldn't really pick out the flavors, unless they meant that the sauces already on the table were tamarind and mint. Basically just a lightly fried cheese. Pretty good thought.
* Our dishes came out in good time. My chicken Tikka Masala was okay. The chicken was a little dry (overdone). Tessa's lamb Curry was okay too. Some of the lamb pieces were a little tough, but the flavors were good. I ended up liking Tessa's lamb better and she liked my chicken better. Go figure.
* Naan was good, except they didn't bring the naan that we ordered. We ordered the fruit naan, and we were brought garlic naan. It was stilll good, just not what we ordered.
The service was good though. I don't get some of the other reviews complaining about service. I never had an empty water glass (it was refilled 5 or 6 times) and all of our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The waiter was nice enough.
FINAL WORDS: "good... just good"

Went for breakfast this morning with the girlfriend, and we were surprised to get great service!!! Seemed like they've been working on a thing or two, and there were some new people working that we have not seen before. Everything went smoothly! Our coffees and our waters were never empty, and our table was pre-bussed and our check brought out in an efficient and timely manner!
Things are looking on the up and up!!! Had a great time!
ps... the food is always good :D
