Update - 5/7/2012
The water machine has been replaced - with one that only offers reverse osmosis and charges 20 cents per gallon.

Even on the rare occasions that this station does not have the lowest price for gas in this part of town, it's price is usually close to it - and so this station is often busy. The water vending machine dispenses a choice of reverse osmosis or micro-filtered water for 15 cents per gallon - which is the lowest water price I know of in San Diego. The gas pumps offer a receipt even when you pay cash to the person in the booth and the nozzle handles are the brand that locks and allows hands- free filling your tank (unlike the other brand that stations often disable the locking feature due to a manufacture flaw that prompted a recall). This station is next to a library, kitty corner across from a shopping plaza, and close to several places to eat - so you can fill up on more than just gas and water while in the area. Of the many gas stations I go to, this is only the second one I have written a review for - after noticing no one else did.

There is supposed to be dancing here on Fridays - but it doesn't start until 11pm. Although the music is pretty good, the dance floor is small and hardly anyone comes - so be sure to bring someone with you if you want company or someone to dance with.

In addition to Cuban food, there is (Latin) dancing on Friday nights. The dance floor is small.

Both a Drive-In and a Drive-Thru, this is nice contrast in both price and and what's on the menu from the nearby casinos. The food is good, the drinks are better, and eating here is more enjoyable than going to most other fast food restaurants.

If you are interested in information about UFOs or in just the mood for jerky, this is a place that allows you to find both. Whether you like their Roadkill Original, Abducted Cow, or any of their many other jerkies, at least read the package for their  Invisible Jerky. They also have various other UFO-theme items and info for you to look at, try, or buy.

Not sure what it's like on a normal night, but I enjoyed dancing here the night before  a bachata festival started. One thing I could do without (even more than the flashing colored lights) was the dance floor being covered with liquid nitrogen smoke. Music was good and so was the crowd (of locals and out of town visitors) - and this is the place most I asked recommended to dance while in Reno (except when there is a special event elsewhere).

Great live band and appreciative crowd on Thursdays for Latin Night - but no room to dance.

Mostly known for having the Worlds tallest thermometer out front, if you like Bob's Big Boy elsewhere and are in the mood for what they serve, this is a good place to stop. Otherwise, just take a picture of the thermometer and eat elsewhere.

Although a bit over-hyped, this place is still worth a stop - as many do - for breakfast, gyros, burgers, shakes, and more. A commercial drivers license will get you a 20% discount of their somewhat high prices. Portions are large and food quality is good. Some menu items are not commonly found, so another reason to come here is to try something different you might not usually (be able to) order elsewhere.
