I was walking around Naples and I was a bit hungry on a Sunday afternoon. As I walked by Kitchen Outfitters next to the Naples Laundromat on 2nd street, I saw a Menu board Outside. I was curious. I always thought Kitchen Outfitters just sold Kitchen Equipment and taught cooking Classes, I never knew they served food. I saw that the today`s special was Korean Short Rib Tacos. I went inside to order and as I was waiting for my order I walked around the store. I was pleasantly surprised to see not Only do they sell Kitchen Gear and Offer Cooking Classes, they also had an impressive full Menu of a Variety of things. They have Sandwiches, Lattes, Coffee, Sliders, Hot dogs, Cookies, cakes, they even had fresh avocados for a $1 each, great deal! They had a variety of water & sodas as well. They had coconut water and Old Fashion Soda`s in Glass Bottles!!! They also had a great variety of Beer & wine at a reasonable price.
With my order, I got a Free drink of my choice. I decided to try the Coconut water that is all the rage right now. Bad choice, one sip and I could not throw that full can of Coconut water in the trash fast enough. Gross, I will never drink that crap again! However the Korean Short Rib Tacos were very tasty. Sweet, spicy, crunchy, fresh and good. I would like a little more hot sauce on them, but I got them to go and could not garnish them the way I wanted them.
I will definitely be back soon. I want to try a few of their sandwiches, a few beer selection and grab a few wine special, hec, I might even take a Cooking Class!!

Jason Friday was friendly, honest, prompt, easy and gave me cash fast. Much better than going through the headache of selling a car on your own. I highly recommend!

My Husband  I went to Sushi on Fire last night - the food was super yummy - but the atmosphere and the Cold Service was a Turn Off - they seem to be like 'hurry, eat, pay & leave' - I still like Sushi Saurus better (a few blocks away on 2nd st) - it has more of an intimate pub vibe where you feel comfortable to relax and stay awhile - which is good business, cause the more you stay, the more you eat, the more you drink, the more you pay!

I always walked by this place thinking it was just a cafe that sold Donuts & Coffee. One day I walked down 2nd street and saw a Chalk Board on the Corner of La Verne & 2nd that said 'Now Open for Lunch' with an arrow to Caffe Gazelle. I walked by it and looked inside. and was surprised to see dinner Tables and a Wine Bar. When I got home, I googled this place. They do not have a website, but they did have a Yelp Page which was very helpful, most of the reviews were really good.
 I went to go eat there that night which was a Friday Night. We were greeted by a sweet gentle man who we assumed was the owner. He sat us and Waited on us. It is a Very Tiny place, only seats about 19 people. It has a Bar with a couple bar Stools with Bottles of Wine on Display. You can see the Kitchen which is very small as well - but very entertaining to watch them cook.
We ordered the Cabernet which was really great Wine. My husband ordered the Spicy Seafood Angel Hair Pasta which was extremely good, my husband Loved it and wants to come back. I ordered the Pasta Russa with was Penne Pasta with a Vodka Sauce, which was very good!  It was very filling and I could not eat it all, so the owner took my plate and boxed it up for me. The owner was very attentive, prompt and helpful. The Place was packed, every seat was taken, you can tell it is a local favorite. The owner asked if we wanted desert, we said no, we were stuffed, but we did get to see the desert display platter and it looked great, maybe next time. Yes, there will be a Next time. I really love going to and supporting Local 'Mom & Pop' businesses. Caffe Gazelle is a Wonderful Secret Little Local Treasure!!

The Weekend before Christmas 2010, My Husband and I wanted to look at the Naples Island Christmas Lights. It was a very Heavy Rain Storm, but that did not stop us, we bundled up and went for a long cold wet but beautiful walk.
Our clothes were not as waterproof as we thought. After our 2hour walk, we were soaked, cold to the bone & Hungry. We decided to Walk to 2nd street & Find a Place warm to eat. I said to my husband, I wish there was a Place that we could eat that had a Fire Place so I can hang my Jacket, Gloves, Boots & Scarves to dry and we can eat by so we can get warm. 2nd street was very empty of people due to the rain storm. We came upon Me Soo Hungry, a New Chinese Restaurant that Opened up in our Neighborhood. We have been waiting for them to open because we wanted to try them out. Belmont Shore was in Need of a New Good Chinese Food Place!
When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised that right there in front was a Fire Place!! I quickly hung my wet items by the fireplace and sat at the table in front of it. We were greeted by a really friendly & helpful man. He introduced himself as the Boyfriend of the Owner & Chef. He said that this night was supposed to be their Grand Opening, billed with Dragon Dancers, but due to the rain, they had to Postpone it. He explained that his girlfriend was trying out new dishes and if it was okay if she let us taste a few. We were happy to say yes.
The food was wonderful! The waiter would come out as well as his girlfriend/Owner/Chef to get our opinion on the samples we tasted. The service was above exceptional, the food was unique, fun and extremely tasty! The decor was Artful, warm and very inviting! We hope Me Soo Hungry is here to Stay. We cannot wait to go there again!
