Came here for a little snack on my last visit to NYC. We had some tea, hummus plate, and some chicken meat balls. I was a fan of the atmosphere and the nice feng shui.
Well run joint, 4.3 stars.

Needless to say, I love a good sandwich. The more expensive the better it tastes right? No, sadly not in this case. The meat loaf sandwich was served cold as are all the sandwiches. It wasn't very tastey, felt like a slab of meatloaf that was super cold. All the sandwiches are pre-fab'ed so at least getting the goods is pretty quick. I also ordered a side of hummus which was unspectacular and served with pita-like chips.
Overall, not impressive. Will stick with Sentinel as my go to expensive sandwich.

I'm a Vietnamese food foodie.
The lemon grass chicken that's prepared next to your table was excellent! We also got the tender pieces beef with onions. Yum, I wish had more right now for breakfast.
The waiter was really attentive and very nice. I'm looking forward to going back here. I was surprised it wasn't that busy :/.
Now on my top 3 of Bernal Heights list.

One thing that should have made me get up and leave was the dirty teapot were given at the beginning of the meal. After that I noticed all the dishes and bowls had spots on them too. The bbq pork we got tasted funny and my stomach felt funny after 30 minutes in the car. Let's just say I was glad I was headed home :).
The only bonus star is for being open till 12am weekdays. That's the only reason I came by to try it.
Nice cook/waiter just the cleanness of the place and dishes needs to upgraded.

Update Oct 26 2009: Got a note from Sophie T about this review, probably the biz owner. Said that the mushy rice stuffy was probably an anomalously event. I'll give her an extra star for reaching out; I understand mistakes happen.

I really really like seaweed salad. I think it's unrepresented in the super market. I think it should be in school lunches. It should be a snack at 7-eleven. I just love it. Anyways, Live Sushi made my day, they had a roll that incorporated tuna and seaweed salad. It was named the Swamp Roll. It wasn't as good as mango rolls at Wayo, but it was damn good. I was happy to see a refreshing list of different combo rolls I hadn't seen anywhere else.
Thumbs up to our server that was very nice even though we were quite indecisive :).
Definitely on the recommended sushi road map for 2008.

Nothing more to report than a great place for breakfast. No gimmicks, just a beautiful view, great service and quality food.
It will run you about $25-30, per person.
Only thing I would improve is adding pulp to the OJ.

Room was solid, quite, clean and pleasant. Only stayed one day and didn't make it up for b-fast.
Date

I ordered the avocado benedict it came out a little cold argh but i'll let that one slip for now, supposedly the french toast is super solid.
I really want to give it 5 stars, but I'll have to wait to try the french toast and see if the eggs come out old again. They have awesome OJ and quick service to boot.
