For a sports bar, I don't know what more you could want! The food was legitimate (I had the french dip with sweet potato fries), the beer selection was sufficient (although not very extensive), and the TVs were plentiful.

I sat at the bar, and had a particularly great time bantering back and forth with the bartender, Todd, about the games on TV. I liked sitting at the bar, because Todd made it feel like a neighborhood bar "where everyone knows your name" even though he really didn't know most of us sitting at the bar. Even the waitresses chimed in every now and then with a good story or funny comment.

The Tavern has an upstairs, but I didn't go up there, so I'm not exactly sure how big it is. Either way, I could tell the place had a good amount of seating. It started to fill up once the Monday Night Football came on, but it didn't get packed either, which I liked.

All things considered, I'd say this is an above average sports bar, and I would definitely go again.

In a world full of burger joints, I was skeptical how Lobbys would compare. Nevertheless, Lobbys impressed me.

Their menu is a bit confusing to read, but after standing in line for a few minutes, I ordered the regular cheeseburger, added the grilled mushrooms, and kept the pickles off. I liked the taste a lot, but next time, I will probably order the double burger, because the single wasn't quite enough.

The place itself was very clean (hard to do in a restaurant serving burgers and dogs) and the service was friendly. I recommend checking out Lobbys soon!

This location doesn't have a drive-thru and it's quite small, so I don't frequent it often, but it's a Starbucks and it's consistent.

This business recently changed names from Sola Coffee Bar to Cartel Coffee Lab. I loved it before, so now with the expanded hours and menu, I expect it will be just as good or better!

Before changing names, I heard Sola already brewed with Cartel's beans, so today when I tried the coffee, I wasn't surprised that it tasted about the same: not overly strong, but delicious.

We recently had a leak in the water line to our refrigerator, and called Scottsdale Plumbing Company (SPC) to help us, because it was a weekend and an emergency. I'm not sure how their weekend rate compares to other plumber weekend rates, but I thought it was rather high. Nevertheless, the plumber from SPC came within an hour of our call and helped us stop the leak. Rather than fix the water line and rack up the weekend rate hours, though, he suggested he leave the water line as it was (with the leak now stopped), and come back the following week when he would only have to charge their normal weekday rate. I really appreciated that suggestion, because it showed he recognized how high their weekend rate was, and that he wanted to help us save money, while getting the job done.

I'll have to check what their regular weekday rate is to see if I'll call them again, but overall, I'm glad SPC was there to help us in a pinch, and glad their plumbers are honest and considerate.

The main reason I'm writing this review is to remind myself and others that this store is also a Chevron gas station.  I've been in the store a few times, but mostly I just fill up my gas tank here.

During the few times I've been into the store, I remember it being clean, and the employees behind the counter being friendly.

I actually never knew there was a Radioshack here until I searched for it online.  Now that I know it's there, I can see myself visiting it more often.  It's closer to my home than any big box electronics store, the service was friendly, and it was very easy to get in and out of quickly.

Obviously, because of its size, Radioshack probably isn't going to have everything I'm always looking for, but I was very impressed with how much they fit into such a small space without the store feeling cluttered or distracting.  It also helped that, as soon as I walked in the door, an employee offered to help me find what I was looking for, and he did.  You just don't get that at the bigger chain stores.

As a residential Realtor with The Hill Group, a client of ours recently closed escrow on his new home through this Fidelity National Title office.  Although we received mostly good customer service from the escrow officer, Jodi Ayala, we experienced one setback that really frustrated our client.

Jodi was very friendly as she helped us schedule a closing appointment at the last minute, and she emailed us all a copy of the HUD-1 Settlement Statement so the client would know how much he owed at closing and could bring a Cashier's Check for the amount to the closing appointment.  The setback occurred when the home buyer's lender and the title company realized the closing figures had to be re-calculated after they had already told everyone how much the buyer owed.  Unfortunately, since no one from the lending company nor Fidelity National Title called any of us, the buyer and I showed up to the closing appointment at 8:00am on a Friday morning, without the latest information.  This meant, the buyer had gotten his Cashier's Check for the wrong amount, and had to run back out to his bank to get it re-drawn.  This may sound like a small matter on paper, but on the day of closing, our client was already under stress and busy with a hundred other things.

I don't know if this was something Jodi could have helped avoid, but it would have been nice if someone at Fidelity had contacted us or the home buyer before the 8:00am appointment so the client would not have had to waste his time getting two different Cashier's Checks drawn in a 24 hour period.

As a residential Realtor with The Hill Group, I'm asked for referrals to home inspectors often.

After meeting Scott Warga with ACSI just once, he instantly became one of our preferred home inspectors.  His inspections are thorough, his pricing is fair, and he explains everything he discovers very, very well.  Not only that, Scott seems like a very nice guy and someone you can trust.  You need those qualities in a home inspector during your real estate purchase.  I highly recommend contacting ACSI before buying any home.

Andrew Klein is our financial advisor at Edward Jones, and we are very happy with his services.  My wife and I did plenty of research, and asked for several word-of-mouth testimonials from our friends and family, and no one came as highly recommended as Andrew did.  He is friendly, helpful, thorough, and trustworthy, even in these challenging economic times.

When we first called Andrew on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to meet with him, he offered to meet with us as early as the following day.  On the day of our meeting, he was available right at the time we scheduled, and spent a great deal of time with us, asking questions, learning about our investment goals, and giving us great advice.

I look forward to working with Andrew more, and reaching our goals with Edward Jones.
