I went there twice and I found it is just a nice place for a quick but also dulcet Korean meal. Half self-served and half grab and go area. Around $7 per pound for these self-served food, and pay for grab food with specific price tagged on.

Looks like a canteen rather than restaurant, atmosphere is just casual and relaxed. With a refrigerator section in the left, they provides both fresh hot and fast frozen food.

FYI, eel with rice is tasty.got to have a try :P

I had a HongKong congee and a bottle of bubble tea. Instead of a bowl of congee, they give me a POT of it. The tastes were nothing bad or special either. Price was reasonable, mine were $8 in all, and I left $2 for tips.

Service was good, there's always one waiter kept an eye on you.

A quick take-out before we entered the bronx zoo. We parked the car on 183 ST,and hunted out an unassuming  pizza store, which, to our surprise, with a reputation to some extent. Judging from the pictures on the wall, I saw mother teresa, bill clinton and george bush have ever been here, and took pictures with the store keeper, who was the only waiter we met at the time, just a bit older since time passed by.

That really made me curious and expectant about the taste.I bought a pizza with olive and tomato, my friend got a cheese and turkey one. It was mediocre I had to say, nothing special or impressive, disappointed, and I don't know what reason attracted many political celebrities went here.

Pizza roasting in brick oven was their only distinct feature.

I have to admit that even the steamed milk tasted special!with thick foam designed on it .Hot chocolate was not sweet like that in starbucks.Spanish latte and espresso were both delicious, authentic, albeit pricey.

Several bookshelves with best sellers, free wi-fi, a bit crowded, people were dancing in a group maybe it was because of halloween, thought usually it should be more quiet.

Closest cafe to NYU campus.

It closed before midnight,we were the last guests to leave lol

My friend drove me there after we were back from jones beach, cuz he told me this was a corporate chinese restaurant that have many chains in the states. But,well,as to my very not picky stomach,it was still mediocre, nothing impressive. All their foods, not only the appetizer, entree, but also the desserts were kinda lack of something. The crab wontons tasted starchy and no flavour at all;the broccoli mixed in each entree was too sweet and hard to chew.Although the waitress was attentive and hospitable.

The environment there, which was obvious, that the manager wanted to make a atmosphere of chinese ancient culture. The sculpture of terra cotta warriors(which were positioned in front of lady's room, jesus christ, that really scared me...),and the wall was decorated with paintings of great wall and along the river during qingming festival. But queerly, there was a bar counter near the front door ..no idea,is this called the combination of china and west?...

Anyway, three stars is my rating, according to their overall service. The food values two star,at most.

Can I say this is just awesome?I actually came here very soon after I settled down in the states, basically even before I knew yelp.Friends of mine drove from downtown manhattan to NJ,just for taking me to have a try on this famed korean tofu soup restaurant.

There were not many selections in menu, just 9 types of korean tofu soup and BBQ ribs, and each kind of soup was $9.We ordered seafood, beef soup, plain tofu soup and mushroom tofu soup, plus two portions of BBQ ribs. The tofu soup felt like a mini chafing dish, with a small pot filled boiling soup and tender tofu, along with the other ingredients appeared in the menu. That was extraordinarily delicious and still I can't forget how it tasted. The BBQ was delicate and with enough amount, man can be stuffed by a pot of tofu and a portion of BBQ.

The restaurant was not that spacial, but their service was efficient and satisfying,so customers didn't have to wait long even if it happened to be their business rush hour. However,if I didn't remember wrong, the place was a bit hard to find, cuz it stood on a small hillside....but with its reputation, you could still reach it by inquiring people up there when wandering around.

Hopefully I could have a try on this again once I get my drive license. :)

According to its location and there was no line-up during the dinner time ,which was  pleasing enough.I ordered a homade fertunicci? pasta. It was made up by a variety kinds of vegetables and tasted good.My friends ordered tortellini and spaghetti blognese. They're both yummy and delicious, with ample sauce on it.Plus optional cheese and pepper.

Thoughtful service provided all time span we were there. The waiter constantly came to our table and filled the water, helped me to put up my coat,and..well,frequently stopped by and asked us anything else we wanna try?cuz we skipped all the courses and directly went to the main dishes.Besides, after the dinner, the waiter offered each of us a little cherry gin and tonic(tasted like) as their today's special .It was soooo tasty!and just warmed us up before we had to rush into the cold weather outside.I'm gonna order it if next time I happen to be here again...

It's a tiny but a cozy place.like a typical italian or french restaurant in sort of suburb area.Customers even could watch the whole procedure of food preparation through a public kitchen facing the back seats.

Recommended.

coincidentally,I was searching for the italian restaurants around theater discrict for any options on next Tuesday before our broadway show. And I sifted through by cliking cheap and moderate cost.Well, the first item appeared was the one I just went to last weekend after movie.I remembered I ordered a salmon dishes,it was so delicious with the proper seasoning on it (sorry,I cant tell = =)and waiters will provide you with whole wheat breads and icy butters before entree.

The most impressive thing was,cuz one of my friends, she had made a call for like one hour and a half, the rest of us were waiting for her while eating the mere bread on the table. The waiter will supplement once we 're done with the current amout..so,yeah,I mean,we could even feel full without order something formal...^

The ambience there was nice.dim light with soft chat. Not so many people on a regular sunday night even if it with such popularity.Anyway, that would be a smart pre-theater choice if u happen to be around time square and don't wanna spend much to have tasty and relatively fast italian food.
