Love interesting dining experiences? Then try a crawfish boil restaurant! I went to Crawdaddy because it was written up in Metro of Silicon Valley and I was not disappointed. Great service by nice people in a clean environment. My waiter was very helpful in educating me on the ways of the mudbug.
This is NOT fine dining but rather a ethnic home cooking type deal. The ethnicity in this case being Louisiana-Vietnamese fusion style crawfish. Don't bring first dates here either since you feel like taking a shower afterwards and because you won't feel like making-out much after.
Also, I found price to be very very reasonable since all they serve is seafood. I had the crawfish boil and catfish, both were good but only the crawfish was a unforgettable experience. (Fries were good too btw)
I'm going back for sure, this place kicks ass.People thought this was:

Wing's lacks soul or original spirit and serve up lame or average renditions of American-style Chinese Food favorites. i think they don't respect the palette of the locals and think we couldn't tell the difference between dishes.
I live nearby and I've visited the place many many times... it's convenient and passable but I have to say that I'm done. Nice people but their soulless, non-effort approach makes me want to go anywhere else but there.
In my past review, I think I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I was wrong. All their food is edible but it's not what I'd call remarkable in any way. As I made my way through the menu, the lack of any surprises (and often disappointments) just made me take my 4 down to a 1.

Half and half.
Chinese restaurants for me often fall into 2 categories:
1. Completely catering to American tastes by offering Chinese-American classics and interpreting real Chinese classics American style
2. Catering to the Chinese population by offering traditional recipes unaltered to suit American tastes
Wing's IMO is half and half which is not a terrible thing. Both types of restaurants offer some tasty recipes and this interpretation makes them decently original. I felt as though the food was good and did not leave me with that feeling you get from other lesser quality Chinese take-out.. They give good portion sizes in ratio with the cost and their service is good.
The eat-in experience gives off a mom and pop friendly atmosphere that is distinctively Chinese. It's a unique experience in Japantown so I'd say check it out!People thought this was:

It's not Panda Express soul-less fast food, lacks the terrible-buffet quality some places have and puts better effort in their food than a Wing's for instance.
It does what it's supposed to do perfect and that's why I gave it full stars.

Not exactly fine-dining but it was a cool place to chill with your peeps at and have some beers and eat some decent Italian fare.
This would be a great place to come on St. Patrick's Day (or anytime) because they can serve a real Black and Tan (Guinness and Bass). They serve Boddington's and Fish and Chips as well... that's a combo made in heaven.
I liked Trials, this is a nice, un-pretentious place for beer drinkers to congregate.
The description looked like it was a fancy spa hotel but the price was not exorbitant. So naturally I went for it and was very satisfied with my experience.
The facilities were small but indeed very luxurious and spa-like. Service and staff was friendly without being annoying and they offered a nice set of FREE amenities... LIKE INTERNET! Other hotels can learn from them for sure. Complimentary breakfast items like pastries, juice and yogurt on every floor and decent coffee on the ground floor everyday. The location itself was pretty nice. Just few blocks from the SOMA area and even closer to the baseball stadium and the Bay Bridge.
This is one place I would look out for every time I stay in SF.

However, it's expensive. You have to pay for "luxury" items like internet service and the rooms can be over $250 a night.
The location is great and if you can afford it, it's worth staying at.
Lots of beers from around the globe and they serve Irish bar food too. Not shabby IMO. I has some fries with my beer and in about a half hour or so, most of the pate was gone!
It attracts cool people in the SOMA neighborhood and I had a good time.
This place is right next to Peet's and right near HP/Caltrain in San Jose. So it's a quality place to get some grub after doing something.
Prices are not terrible but not cheapy cheap either. I think it's resonable for a Santa Clara street restaurant.
