HELP! How do you deal with a business, especially food, that is too close for comfort? The delicious wafting smells seeping under the front gallery door - fresh hot coffee - the best pastries I've had in a long time... and all within 31 feet, 6 and 3/4 inches. HELP!

I am doing my best NOT to visit it everyday but the great friendly service from Kate and Kelly, the always scrumptious Jammers or my favorite, Almond Croissant beckon me from this comfortable cafe-ish bakery.

If you stop in - come by Sellars Project Space and tell me what you think. I think they're a 4 and 3/4 (because we all have room for improvement). HA!

EvB Studio is the greatest place to be on First Fridays. The public studio of artist Marie EvB Gibbons offers a variety of workshops and on First Fridays what she calls MiniShops. Each month has a specific item that you can make that you pick up after being fired.

I also know that the studio offers private parties - which would be a great thing for birthdays or just a monthly get together with friends.

Always a best bet... Marie also has a variety of her own works available for sale throughout the week.

Abend Gallery offers a variety of great original art by local and national artists as well as affordable framing. This gallery wonderfully interacts with its patrons and the public through many art demonstrations and gallery events.

One of my favorite museums in Denver - the care that has been taken to put this collection together shows. Hugh Grant - has done an incredible job preserving the regions best  Fine and Decorative Art.

Shack Man Glass Studio and Gallery is truly a one-of-a-kind business in the Historic Berkeley - Highlands are of North Denver. Just minutes from Downtown, Shack Man Glass offers a variety of handmade glass objects (art, sculpture, jewelry, vases, etc.) as well as other beautifully crafted pieces by local artists.

During Tennyson's First Friday Art Walk - Shack Man Glass offers live demonstrations all night - incredibly talented glass artists working on torches created some of the very pieces you find in the gallery. Also, be sure to grab one of Shack Man Glass' signature Flaming Cupcakes - FREE!

Shack Man Glass also offers intro classes and quick workshops for visitors. I took the Create Your Own Ornament series last year and made icicles for my Christmas tree... it was more than affordable and super fun to do. I know that they also did a make a pendant or flower (can't recall) - for your Mom on Mother's Day. Really amazing!

I first visited TWA 18 years ago. Although the building itself, as well as the neighborhood, aren't too much to gab about, it is one of the best tasting and reasonably priced restaurants - and I have to say it is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city.

After dealing with some personal issues for almost 8 years, we returned to TWA for lunch. Linda, the incredible server and manager of the restaurant remembered my name and what I last ate. WOW.

If you are a vegetarian... super dining. Just let your server know and they will make it work for you. Don't pass the Vietnamese Eggrolls, Vietnamese Ice Coffee, and my favorite, the Vegetarian Soup.

An A+++ for service, food and price!

Ironton Studies and Gallery is one of the best spots in the RiNo (River North Art District - http://www.rivernortha...). With, for the most part, a top notch gallery (thanks to director Jill Hadley Hooper), artists' studios, an on-site public art fabrication company (JUNO Works) and one of the best places in Denver to sit and watch the sunset.

Many of Denver's top artists call Ironton home and many of their studios are also open during Denver's city wide First Friday Art Walk. If you haven't been there... get there.
