Had the Bo Lat app and 2 pho's for $20. All was tasty. My only critique was that they should ask you " Have you been here before and are you familiar with the cuisine?", so you know how to order. Otherwise it can be intimidating for people unfamiliar withe the cuisine as we were.

So the service is a little slow but it's still faster than going to Kuma's that was still packed at 3pm on a Thr. Decided to save $$ and head over here. For $3.32 I got a Dbl Cheeseburger, O rings, and paired it wih a delicious Dr. Pepper. The American cheese was melted just right and complemented the ketchup, mustard, and pickles perfectly.

The theater itself is nice and has great seating. But it also has one of the worst parkign garages you'll see. And the crowd here sucks!! People who bring their 4 year olds to R rated movies at 10pm on a Sat night. ANd what's worse is the theater let's them. People constantly talking/texting during the movie. And idiots who like to scream at the screen. And it's super flippin expensive(but all are except the Davis). Unfortunately it's by my house and I hate Webster place even more!

Great place for beer and a bite. Extensive beer list. Great burgers. Excellent brunch in which I reccomend fried egg sandwich and a Bloody or two.

Popped in today for the famous Pumpkin Pie Concrete. Awesome and may I reccomend to always get the regular size which is a dollar more than the small and twice as big. Great custard! Note they hibernate for the winter.

Popped in for $.25 wing night. I got 10 buffalo and 10 spicy BBQ. Very unique flavor with them deep frying then putting on grill. I liked the grill taste to them. Buffalo were not saucy the way I like but really good. ANd the spicy BBQ were actually amazing.
Great beers on tap, nice atmosphere, and good music.

Was going to stop at Johnnie's but the line was too long so settled for this spot.
First off, the Italian ice was lacking sweet, tart lemon flavor. The beef was OK. I'll give them credit for the giardinara which was top notch. Fries were kind of soggy.

This place rocks. First off the drinks. The Charleston Mule and Death of St. Germaine were fantastic. Autumn Sangria was so-so. For first courses we got the soup potion gumbo which was huge and spiced just right and the porkbelly-johnny cakes which were nice. Wife went with the pork chop with this amazing sweet potato hash with huge pieces of bacon in it. Loved it. I opted for shrimp and grits which were nice. We decided on the bread pudding for desert which was the only thing that fell flat.
Great service, nice atmosphere, definitely will be back.

Popped in for lunch and got a pulled pork sandwich and 2 beers for $20(could've gotten a way better lunch type deal at a number of other bars). My food came out on an unganrnished plate that just had the pulled pork on a bun and some meh crincle cut fries. It tasted OK but all in all, was just a sad looking little plate. This place is has an all around generic type feel to it.

Ah, a little bit of Wrigleyville comes out West. Popped on by for a nitecap on a Sat night. Typical beer list of domestics and imports. Didn't see many micros. It was late so that may have explained all the Sir-mix-alot & BBD playing. If you've ever been to Waterhouse or one of their other bars, it's the same vibe just further West. The menu looked really good and look forward to trying it. And what's the deal with bars adding tax to the drinks these days?

The Bristol

 Update - 11/1/2009
Tried the Bristol again for brunch. As a lover of the Bloody Mary, had to try the infamous $17 Bloody. Wife got it too and 2nd ordered only cost $6. It was good and came with a giant skewer of sausage, cheese, pickles, peppers, etc. I'd ask for no anchovies next time.
On to the entrees. We both ordered the Chilaquiles with braised pork. It was one of the best I've ever had. It was also the smallest Chilaquiles I've ever had. The serving dish was like an appetizer bowl and not piled high. So I had to savor every bite and found myself leaving incredibly hungry. Chilaquiles are supposed to be huge! All in all, a $45 brunch(w/o tip) and I left hungry. So as much as I liked the food, too small. Can't wait to not go back unless someone else is buying.

Popped in on Saturday at 6:30 and was lucky enough to get a bar spot to avoid the dreaded communal seating. Bartenders were great and nice booze selection. I really wasn't into the menu though. Not a big pate, bone marrow and the likes kinda guy. We had the scotch olives that were great but seriously, you could deep fry dog poop and it'd taste great. Wife forced me to get duck fat fries. She loved them, me not so much. They were soggy and I guess I just don't get anything outta them being fried in duck fat.
It was all ok but nothing made me want to ever go back.
For entrees had the halibut which was fantastic and the quail which was tasty as well. And had the chocolate sabynon for desert.
