Great beers on tap, nice atmosphere, and good music.
First off, the Italian ice was lacking sweet, tart lemon flavor. The beef was OK. I'll give them credit for the giardinara which was top notch. Fries were kind of soggy.

Ah, a little bit of Wrigleyville comes out West. Popped on by for a nitecap on a Sat night. Typical beer list of domestics and imports. Didn't see many micros. It was late so that may have explained all the Sir-mix-alot & BBD playing. If you've ever been to Waterhouse or one of their other bars, it's the same vibe just further West. The menu looked really good and look forward to trying it. And what's the deal with bars adding tax to the drinks these days?

On to the entrees. We both ordered the Chilaquiles with braised pork. It was one of the best I've ever had. It was also the smallest Chilaquiles I've ever had. The serving dish was like an appetizer bowl and not piled high. So I had to savor every bite and found myself leaving incredibly hungry. Chilaquiles are supposed to be huge! All in all, a $45 brunch(w/o tip) and I left hungry. So as much as I liked the food, too small. Can't wait to not go back unless someone else is buying.

Popped in on Saturday at 6:30 and was lucky enough to get a bar spot to avoid the dreaded communal seating. Bartenders were great and nice booze selection. I really wasn't into the menu though. Not a big pate, bone marrow and the likes kinda guy. We had the scotch olives that were great but seriously, you could deep fry dog poop and it'd taste great. Wife forced me to get duck fat fries. She loved them, me not so much. They were soggy and I guess I just don't get anything outta them being fried in duck fat.
It was all ok but nothing made me want to ever go back.
For entrees had the halibut which was fantastic and the quail which was tasty as well. And had the chocolate sabynon for desert.
