A perfect perfect perfect consumer experience - and they aren't even trying that hard.  Went in last minute for (ssssssh I'll never tell)  a little something something.  I had never been but so many good things have been said so i thought why not?

The staff was not only nice and professional but fun to spend time around.  Dr Tsai is great!  Shes nice and personable and really loves what she does.  We chatted about the procedure i went in for and she even took time to go over procedures I had interest in - going so far to discuss her own experiences and even give me a demo.  I will be back.

Thumbs Up:  Great staff.  Easy going non-pretentious environment
Thumbs Down:  Parking.  But hey its in the Marina and if you can go during office hours it aint so bad.

Love it.   I decided to write a review because my OTHER delivery place got my business because the have Pork Buns ....BEHOLD!  So now does Wild Pepper!

Its not the best Chinese food ever but it is consistently good and the delivery service is fast and friendly.  I am a regular now and wish they would get some sort of record system to hold my address and credit card number.... but that might be a little high tech for them..

ThumbsUP - Fast and friendly delivery!
ThumbsDOWN - Crispy Beef is good when its good - shoe leather when its not

Ive been a member for 3 years now and finally decided I am a fan

Of course if you like to keep in shape any place will do but if you want to be coached, treated like a friend and motivated this is the place to go.

ThumbsUP - a very reliable fitness resource.  Good equipment, clean locker room, constant updates to the machines.
ThumbsDOWN - if you have friends in SF then you will run into a few now and then.  Tends to be distracting

NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I have been trying to get my oven fixed for my 7 year old KitchenAid convection/microwave oven repaired for 6 weeks now.

I was concerned after an initial oven latch repair was then followed 2 weeks later with a major electronic failure.  The technicians denied the failures  we related so we decided to have them back to make the second repair.  This required a replacement of the oven motherboard which took over 3 weeks to facilitated.   Within days the replacement board failed a second time.   Upon deeper questioning it became clear that not only did the techs not test for the cause of the failure and in fact are abandoning the repairs and inisist thay they be allowed to  and come retrieve the failed parts.

These people DO NOT KNOW what they are doing and are extraordinarily unprofessional.  In fact they are threatening to take me to  court because I refused to pay them for a failed repair (in which they provided a 3 month warranty).

ThumbsUP - nothing unless you like being ripped off
ThumbsDOWN - They destroyed my $2700 appliance

UPDATE Feb 2010:  I continue to recieve nasty emails and phone calls from Glen and will pass them on to anyone who is interested.

UPDATE 4/15/10 in response to Gene's continued pettiness I had to block his phone number because he called me 11 times in one day.  I returned his parts to him after confirming with KitchenAid that he oven was no longer repairable.  His receipts says he guarantees his work but then refused to refund my money when his repair failed.

I find it very telling that there is another  1 star review on here speaking to the incredible rudeness.

As long as you agree with Gene and his worker buddy, and pay them then they are nice but god forbid you might have a problem.  Good luck to anyone who decides to get involved with this operation.

Check out his profile picture and decide if this is the man to repair your appliance.

UPDATE 1/27/12
Just so you all can see this - I have received 3 other messages from others here on YELP that have had BAD EXPERIENCES with GENE Show owner comment »

NEVER NEVER NEVER
will I eat here again.  Ive been a half dozen times over the past 2 years, primarily cause its so close to my office.

The food is OK  - but -  if you're lucky you will get a little montezuma's revenge later on.  Not only did i get food poisoning from this place (worst thing ever)  but so did my friend on another occassion 2 months earlier.

There  are better places to get mexican grub close by (Monte Cristo Taqueria on University) without the nasty side effects.

ThumbsUP:  HA!  Hopefully my review will keep you away
ThumbsDOWN:  Food borne illness (unless youre into that sort of thing)

mmmm mmmm.
what is not to love about J's Pots of Soul.

My friend Joe took me here for breakfast on a cold December morning.  There was no heat inside but it didn't seem  to be a problem - everyone was happy and having a nice comfy San Francisco breakfast experience.  The waiter was really nice and seemed like he interested in making sure we were happy (although before my first coffee I really didn't give a crap).

I had the Cheesy Omelet with grits, toast and jam.  A bottomless cup of coffee was always ready to keep me warm and help jump start my day.  Great  old photos of Josephine Baker and Muhammad Ali  on the walls and crappy old furniture just made the atmosphere eclectic and relaxed.  But that was beside the point because the food was good and damn I was hungry!

ThumbsUP: Soul Food!  Grits are my favorite..
ThumbsDown:  I didn't see any Chicken and Waffles on the menu

Update 10/9/2007:   Ive moved my rating from 4 stars to 1

OK WHY  you say?   Lets proceed..

1. Ordered 4 appliances. 3 came severely damaged and had to be returned and replaced (seperate deliveries even).  The fourth is a downdraft ventilation system but DUH they forgot to tell me i needed an additional blower to power it.  (an additional $450.00)
2.  I also bought CeasarStone counters - they messed up the installation and when I tried to speak to the subcontractor manager he was a dick.  Of course i have asked Lowes to withhold payment till they can fix their mistake.
3.  Generally all  of Lowes subcontractors  are sullen and incompetent
4.  Most of the store Assistant Managers are rude and have no ability to execute (except Kris - dude you were awesome)
5.  I had to call to corporate to get the store to give me any kind of decent service or response.

I will never go to Lowes again - sorry to Craig the awesome sales person, most of your support staff is useless.  You however were great (hence the original 4 stars)

(original review)
OMG.  A big box store with friendly helpful people?  Where am I again?

I am shopping for some items  for a kitchen remodel, appliances, counter tops, some lighting.  They have a really nice selection - def geared towards home improvement, not the crappy apartment type quality you get at home depot.   The staff was soooo nice, and I am a hard sell.  It was clean and i didn't feel like cattle while moving around the store.  Death to Home Depot.

ThumbsUP:  shiny happy people everywhere
ThumbsDOWN:  Its a big box, you become absorbed by their channel  of goods.  Its easy to not look elsewhere (which you should).

I love Directv.  Comcast made me switch to save my sanity, but now I am the happiest customer in Diamond Heights.

There is just one company on my list of service providers that is better - Tmobile.

ThumbsUP:  You guys meet your commitments, give me great service and even send me coupons for freebies for staying with them for a year.
ThumbsDOWN:  not cheap but nothing like the ripoff that is Comcast

Meh.  I went to truck when it first opened.  If it was in my hood I would prolly go more, but really once you get there and are over the moment there is nothing else around it.

Its OK

ThumbsUP:  Dig the tonka truck theme and the super nice (hot) staff
ThumbsDOWN:  its so isolated.

YUCK.  Tragic clothing for the look at me crowd.  I did find a pair of jeans I liked tho when I saw the 280 dollar price tag I was done.

Contrary to the earlier reviews, the staff was really nice to me and very helpful.

ThumbsUP: Designer duds for practicing fashion victims
ThumbsDOWN:  TOO TACKY. I wanted to like you but jeans made in china for 2 dollars should never cost 200.
