HORRIBLE service. I am embarrassed for the waitress. She was extremely slow, and did not come back to check on us at all. I normally am very gracious and realize that everyone has a bad day-- but this was beyond ridiculous. My fiances burger came out cold and well done when he asked for medium rare and my sister in laws husbands came out cold as well. We didn't get the dressing we asked for, and it took forever for her to put in a second order of soup. We will not be back to this Chilis :(
I have always loved the Chili's on Sunrise and Madison in Fair Oaks. It's a popular location, but I don't mind the wait. I have never had to wait over 30 minutes to get a table. Every server that I have come across here has been extremely friendly, and seemed to love their job. I love the food at Chili's, and the soup and fajitas are some of my favorite. Plus, where else can you get bottomless chips for such a good price? :)
Still love this restaurant and won't give it anything less than 5 stars... however, I went last Friday night around 5:45 PM... thank GOODNESS I got there when I did, because this place was SLAMMED by 6:30. If you plan on chowing down on some rolls, I recommend going during a weeknight (mon-thurs), around 5 PM or after 7 PM.
I'm glad that business is booming though, they deserve it!!!
I absolutely LOVE Midori Sushi!! I have been going there since 2006, and absolutely adore it. The quality is amazing. I recently went to Oshima sushi in Natomas and ordered their 15 pc sashimi and couldn't STAND it... it tasted fishy & rubbery. Two days later I went to Midori and ordered their 16 piece and it was absolutely amazing. The fish is so fresh and the sushi chefs hook it up with HUGE pieces.
The staff is so incredibly nice. Monica recognizes my boyfriend and I as regulars and goes out of her way to make sure we are comfortable. I like every single roll on the menu that I have tried, and believe me, I've tried SO many. Their weeknight special is great! $17.99 for unlimited rolls... you can't go wrong!! They have a HUGE selection to choose from too, so you're not limited to consuming the same 2-3 rolls every time you eat.
This is, hands down, my favorite sushi restaurant. We try a bunch of different restaurants and ALWAYS come back to Midori! I'm glad that their restaurant is a success!

Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed.
This past Saturday, I had a meeting here with one of my old high school teachers (from 10 years ago!)... anyhow, on to business:
The menu online doesn't do the real menu justice. There are TONS of options on the real menu. I chose a grilled veggie sandwich (no, I'm not a vegetarian but it looked damn good... give me a break), that was "recommended by Shawna," in bold letters on the menu. The sandwich was advertised as egg whites, avocado, lite mayo, grilled jalapenos, spinach and swiss cheese on a wheat roll. Sounds good, right? I'm not a fan of mayo, so I asked for it to be substituted with mustard. Oh, and you get your choice of a fruit cup or chips & salsa.
You know what I got? For those of you familiar with SANDWICH THINS, that was my wheat roll. FOR $7.95?!?! ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME? On the wheat roll was a thin egg "patty," a few slices of avocado, a sprinkling of swiss cheese, MAYBE two grilled jalapeno rings and a handful of spinach. They also forgot to bring the mustard. When they plopped that in front of me with a TINY cup of fruit cocktail (no more than 3 forkfuls worth) I almost died.
However, I ate it. It was decent. But not $7.95 decent.
The service was slow, but they were busy.
On the other hand, my lunch date's food looked plentiful and tasty. He didn't comment on it, so I didn't get the final verdict.
I probably won't be back, I'm definitely disappointed with my experience.
