Good food and an inviting atmosphere. Pity that they close so early. I had barely finished my almond soda with chocolate ice cream when we were basically being rushed out the door. Maybe it would be better if they were open until 11 or 12?

A good deal for lunch, their $6.95 buffet had about 6 or 7 items on a steam table, 3 kinds of soup, and a rotating selection of freshly made sushi rolls. The layout was kind of interesting since you have to walk back past the sushi bar to a tiny narrow balcony area where the food is kept. And most of the dishes seemed to be room temperature. Anyways, the garlic tofu, cashew chicken, and pad Thai were a-OK. Nice sushi too. Just wish they would change the CD.... the same songs over and over the whole time we were there.

Nice location and friendly staff, but very, very greasy food. My toast and hash browns were sitting in a lake of oil on the plate. Good coffee and scrambled eggs with cheese.

Great Flamethrower Burger here, heavy on the toppings (nice thick bacon, and plenty of it) and very nicely done onion rings. I am not usually a fan of big fast food chains, but this place hit the spot. No room left in my tummy for their famous ice cream treats.....

Very good food in a comfortable, diner type of atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by the steak tacos.... marinated and grilled cubes of steak with onion and cilantro on tiny warm corn tortillas. As authentic as it gets. If you don't like authenticity, Taco Bell is just down the road, and don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Extra star for delicious horchata  and a good selection of sodas, fruit drinks and beer that goes above and beyond the usual coke-dietcoke-sprite offerings!

I really guess that I should have lowered my expectations on entering here. The place looked promising, with the signs, prices and cash register that seemed unchanged since 1960. Unfortunately, the menu needs updating as well. The food was a gloopy, saucy mess over seemingly day-old rice, and the less said about their ancient dried out wontons the better. There are plenty of better restaurants around, I am sure, but Bamboo Inn was within a short walk from the hotel and offered carryout (hesitantly). Next time, I will eat elsewhere.

Was not aware that my hero, Anthony Bourdain ate here, until much later in the evening. Not sure how that would have affected my experience, anyhow. Good and solid, if oily, chilli, spaghetti, tamales, and burgers. Ice cold soda in paper cups. Friendly staff. CASH ONLY. As Tony himself said, it's definitely one of those places where you crave their food late at night after a lot of drinks.

Weak, watery coffee here. I know the economy is down, but really, guys. I could have bought a better cup of coffee at Mickey D's.

Great place for people-watching, especially when the bars empty out. Food is average, service only slightly better. Ran out of pecan pie. Free coffee or iced tea refills are definitely a bonus. Not one of those hurry-and-get-you-out-the-door joints either.

Noisy, chaotic, hectic, and with a manager who is difficult to understand. I loved it. Beef broth was right on the money, and lots of noodles, thinly sliced steak and garnishes. Only wish the bowl wasn't quite so tiny. Had a difficult time of not spilling my soup, as I intended to eat every precious drop.
