This place is your typical if you have ever been to another Mimi's Café. While we waited for our food, the waitress brought out bread and pumpkin spice muffin/cake at no extra charge.
The wait staff seem a little spread thin while we were there on a Saturday and it took some time for the check to arrive. Usually we have our kids with us (toddler and a 16 month-old), but this day we didn't. If we had, they wouldn't have made it waiting for the check.
The atmosphere is also typical fare for Mimi's Café. Kind of a cramped atmostphere with grandiose pictures on the wall of what little wall space they have. Tables are really close together and it is very knick-knacky when you look around. There is never a scarcity of things to look at while you eating here.
Food is phenominal. I really enjoyed the Chicken Parmesean (they didn't scimp out on noodles or chicken breast).
Definitely recommend if you are a foodie.

This place is a bit on the pricey side but they give you every penny's worth in attention and care for your child. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to give their child a head start in life. This place is fantastic.
My wife and I went here after shopping at the Macy's nearby for dinnerware.
This place has a nice style which pays homage to Reno. There are lots of Basque items on the menu. We were there after hours (traditionally what would be considered the dinner hour) so I had a Kalimoxo (Cali-Mocho) and my wife had a side of fries. Very tasty.
I had the tort chocolate cake (a bit dry, but still good). The vanilla ice cream countered the dryness.
It's worth the stop if you are near Meadowood Mall.

This park is awesome. They have everything to entertain from the level of a toddler to a seasoned veteran of climbing and playing. They have child swings (those for children unable to yet pump while on a swing) and a plethora of slides. My kids had a lot of fun here and the only thing I would recommend is making sure your kids understand that the log looking feature on the larger structure is not a slide and not easy to climb. My oldest fell off of it, thinking it was a slide, within five minutes of arriving at the park (she is 3.5 years old at the moment).

My wife is an Islands fanatic. She can't get enough of their fries. That doesn't mean that we don't enjoy Islands in moderation however.
This location is always quick to seat us and even though we have two small children (one a toddler and the other an infant), they are always accommodating to the highest degree.
The atmosphere is what you would expect from an Islands; surf/skate/snow sports on the televisions (unless NFL football is on, then a game is on). Tiki-ish decorations and the staff are always friendly, prompt and considerate of clientele.
I would highly recommend this restaurant or any one in the chain for that matter as a great place to eat if you're looking for a quick getaway in town.

This Vons beats any of the Safeway/Vons I have been to in the past. Every time, it seems when I am in the produce department, regardless if I have anything in my cart or not, I am asked if I am finding everything okay. I am glad that I am noticed as a customer every time I am there.
One time I asked about a wine I was looking for and quickly the attendant near the area found it within less than 5 seconds. They sure know their selection.
The lines aren't really that long most of the time and if they are, a new checker is opened up.
The atmosphere is always clean and easy to navigate as well.
I really enjoy my experience here, every time I visit.

Always had great service at this location. There are even electronic kiosks where you can place your order without having to wait in line for a counter attendant to take your order.
Always get myself four tacos and a Jumbo Jack. Fills me right up.

Current CrushI have a wife, that's off limits.
The food is your typical 50's American Diner. I usually have either the Rocket Double or the Philly Cheesesteak. There onion rings and chocolate malts are also something I shell out for because they are too good.
Even though the wait staff doesn't dance as much as they used to, this location is still perfect for the dating couple or the family with kids.
I highly recommend a visit.
