This year's move (we are becoming serial movers during the month of April) I left the choosing of the movers up to the hubby. He checked Yelp and decided that the rest of the Yelpers couldn't be wrong.
Daniel, Tristan and Marco showed up a little before the scheduled time, bonus and immediately got to work. The three of them, got our two bedroom down the three flights in Irving Park to Naperville and unpacked within 3 hours. We were quoted for 6 hours of work, and they were done in 3 hours. That is speed people, especially considering there was a travel time!
I had even packed my car with clothes on hangers and bags of food and after their truck was unloaded, they offered to unload my car, no charge.
So, not only did their speed impress me, but unlike the movers we used last year, not one thing was broken! AND, they all speak English! Last year, trying to communicate with the movers was a challenge.
And, lastly, as a work comp insurance adjustor, I just had to ask if they had any work injuries. They advised me no, and that they practice safe techniques and if they can't lift something, they always get help. They all had a really good work ethic and seemed really proud of their company. That's a nice thing to see in today's age, a worker who is proud of their product and their company.

I find this place a bit meh.
I found myself here due to a client happy hour one day during the work week. Since I don't drink because I'd rather waste calories on food, I was hoping to have a Diet Pepsi or hand-squeezed lemonade to which they had none, boo. Ah well.
We had some appetizers. The chicken quesadilla was quite bizarre. There was an Ahi-Tuna crispy thing and that was quite tasty. I should have had more of that, it was delightful. A plate of crispy chicken tenders were there as well and as a sucker for fried food, oh my, they were awesome as well.
We were outside, and as the time passed, more and more suits came. I almost felt like it was just too much business and not enough leisure. I'm glad I wasn't there with the girls or the hubs, because I would have felt so out of place. So, this fits the bill for work gatherings most definitely.
Our waitress was very prompt and attentive to the big group.
I did enjoy the live music going on, that was pleasant.

This was the first apartment complex we saw and I was sold. It reminded me of my fabulous Texas apartment; a luxury apartment with it's own private entrance.
We are currently renting a two bedroom/two bathroom split master floor plan with in unit washer-dryer for $1135. I LOVE the floor plan. I love my private entrance. I love how close it was to the Metra.
We've have some issues with the dryer and AC this past year but the maintenance has always been really fast and quick to fix it.
Why are we moving you ask? Well, it's April and we seemed to move EVERY April and suburbia is not for us. I really wish I could pick up my apartment and put it into the city, it's such a great layout.
However, as great renters as we have been, not causing any trouble, always pay rent on time, do not disrupt others, they wanted to raise our rent $115/month! Dang!
