What a streamlined process! And it looked like the humans staffing this volunteer, all proceeds go to a charity afternoon were actually having FUN!
Scarlet and Howard walked away with some amazing shots and a gift from Santa---thank goodness they managed to hold it together to not leave a gift for him in return...

First to Review
Since moving to the South Shore we have taken our dogs to Old Derby.
Then, I found out we were paying WAAAAAAAY too much for the regular things: vaccines, general visits, prescriptions.
So, this past February we switched vets.
Then, my baby boy; my precious pooper; my Stan Man developed lymphoma.
We're back at Old Derby. Because they give top notch care...you just have to be willing to pay.
I'm "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" because I know I will get the best care possible. I'm "Meh. I've experienced better" because there's so many doctors you won't get the same one twice in a row.
But if they save my baby boy, I will be "forever thankful."
Until this summer, I've strictly been a Stodder's Neck/Wampatuck dog walker. Now I've diversified and am a semi-regular at Bare Cove. Very dog friendly, but also bike, walker, jogger, runner friendly too. A nice alternative to Stodder's Neck, though I wish it looped all the way around, I am a big fan of looping.
I think this is a particularly nice park for dogs who are not ready to go off leash yet, either.
The dogs have a good time and always end up wet/muddy and tired!

Maybe that's because I've seen the same people work here for years. That says something about the place, no?
Good section of premade food like sushi and their own deli/hot food section.
Prices are definitely better than stop and shop. I've exhaustively compared and cross compared...so I'm a little more inclined to shop here.
Also, I like their decent "natural food" aisle (a WHOLE aisle!) and I am not allowed to shop anywhere for my husband's sandwich meat.
The addition of the one line less waiting thing over the past couple of months is an adjustment but seems to be working for the moment. And there's now 2 express self checkout units.
Parking lot always sucks, though. Too busy, when it rains it half fills with water.
do you have a hard time making exact change?
do you like tacos?
do you like pot?
THIS taco bell is looking for YOU.
But really, for $1.29 I still leave satisfied.
pancakes, french toast, and beef stew were all excellent and enjoyed by our party. the menu had a TON of other delicious looking items that we passed on so we didn't seem like piggies----also, our wallets couldn't afford it.
will definitely go back, but c'mon, where's a cheap breakfast around here?!
the free starters are overwhelming---and made it difficult for me to really dive into my vegetable moussaka.
overall we were really pleased with the menu, but my tiny tummy couldn't handle saying no to the starters (hummus, tabouli, some creamy thing with pita).
and the tight quarters really detracted too.
I must have an orangina with my falafel. they of course, had none. the server---a spicy guy with attitude I really liked---suggested snapple's orangeade, brought it out and said, if you don't like it, you don't pay for it.
I liked it!
falafel was great, prices were good, HUGE amounts of food.
I wish there were one of these in Boston!!!
There's never any reason to go here unless you want bad service and bleh food.

I don't like this place.
Not good service. As a vegetarian they have almost nothing that appeals to me.
Prices are "eh."
Next time someone asks if I want to go, I'll consider how good a friend they are before I'll agree to it.

What a great time. Excellent music, an opportunity to reconnect with people from days of yore and, to quote abbot s.'s eloquent review lots of "Topless women, people freely doing illegal drugs, and public displays of homosexuality."
I LOVE AMERICA!!!!

His answer: No.
Why would this question even enter my mind? Because there isn't many "popping the question" worthy places around the south shore, especially in the direction of East Bridgewater.
While The Mockingbird dresses itself up to be on the fancier side, the fake granite tables, the chipped paint, and the drop ceiling among other things take it out of the running.
On the plus side, this place would be AWESOME to take out a group of girls together. Over 90 martinis to choose from will satisfy any girl's taste for a powerful alcoholic beverage!
Food was only ok, bathroom was tiny with 3 stalls but only a single sink, so I had to wait in line, and maneuver around the other gals in there for washing/drying/waiting.
And with almost zero vegetarian options on the menu, probably not a place I will rush back to in the future.
