The first thing I said about my hair was that I needed a haircut because my hair felt too damaged. I got my haircut, it was nothing to write home about, because my hair was so long it was really hard to f**k up.
For some reason, I let myself get talked into getting partial highlights. Well, I know why, it's because i really wanted a change and i WANTED to trust the stylist, so I let it happen. STUPID ME. I basically paid like $90 more to sit around for another 2 hours. YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THAT SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY HAIR. I understand that he made them very very subtle, but it looks like NOTHING CHANGED. He totally tried to pass it off like he did something super special. we both knew that it looked exactly the same as it did before.
But that isn't what made me mad.... In fact, if all I got was a super subtle color change along with a decent haircut, I'd probably rate it between 3 and 4 stars.
What made me mad was... MY HAIR SMELLS BURNT! It's been over 2 weeks since the hair appointment and I never style my hair with heat or put chemical relaxers in my hair or anything. I've washed/conditioned my hair so many times since then. the ends of my hair still SMELLS LIKE BURNT HAIR for some reason! I've never had this problem with my hair before and this infuriates me, esp since i told him at the beginning that the reason i needed to cut my hair was because of how damaged it felt at the ends. Now it is 10x worse AND shorter. and the grossness of the ends makes my hair poof together. it's hard to explain.
