They guys from Sergio's Lawn Service came out to clean up my yard this morning. The weeds had been getting a bit out of hand.
I liked that they gave me a flat, hourly rate rather than an expensive quote for the whole job. That let me decide how long I wanted them to work and stay within my budget. The rate was for a three-man crew and they worked efficiently and quickly.
I'm going to be contacting them to come back on a biweekly cleanup basis. If everything goes well, I may have to round my review up to 5 stars!
I was given a cozy robe and sandals to change into and escorted to my room. The ambiance was perfect (I got to chose my preference of scented oils) and the massage itself felt wonderful. Afterward, I was shown to the waterfall shower-room (very cool) where I could rinse off.
Thanks Yelp for getting me such a great deal on a relaxing evening of pampering. I loved every moment of it!

Be still, my beating heart!
Seriously though, if you're a vegetarian (or anyone, for that matter) stop in and get some delicious t-ravs!

Whether you're a kid or adult, be prepared to climb, crawl, slide, shimmy and squiggle to explore every inch of this fantastic museum.
If you're in town, do yourself a favor and check it out.
Diva's Kitchen serves salads, sandwiches and wraps. They used to have an extensive list of toppings and it was up to you to customize your meal. I guess some people found the list of choices confusing, but I liked it. Now it's just a regular menu... and it's gotten more expensive.
As a vegetarian, I love a place I can get a nice fresh salad, but at $7 + chips a drink and tip... you're looking at a $10 lunch. Now why would that be the case when they have a sign-holder out on the street corner advertising a meal for $3? It just doesn't add up. :(

Loving Hut

Jeremy and I checked Loving Hut on Friday for dinner. It's a really cute place, spotlessly clean and the staff is very sweet and helpful with suggestions.
I had the steak sandwich (one of their chef's choice dishes) and it was great! The steak itself was delicious, served on crusty french bread with crisp marinated veggies. I had a beautiful orange-cranberry juice drink called the Orange Joy as well. Mmmmm!
I can't wait to go back again this week and try something new. Everything looks great and I'm so pleased to have a veggie place on the north side of town.

I had these guys out to do a one-time yard cleanup and to trim up some trees. I'm very satisfied with their work.
They are more expensive than some of the other companies I've tried, but you are paying for a professional experience, not just some sketchy dude and his pickup. Simply for the fact that they made an appointment and arrived on time means a lot to me.
They worked quickly and efficiently, followed directions and there was always a fluent English-speaker available.
I would not hesitate to recommend them.
A few disappointments...
- the menu at the restaurant was significantly different than the one online and didn't have the helpful "V" for vegetarian symbols next to the dishes
- they don't serve horchata any more
- the standard Spanish rice is not vegetarian, so we had citrus rice, which was kinda weird
Date
I suppose my only complaint is that the breakfast buffet isn't free. It's pretty standard stuff, but runs $8-12 depending on if you want a cold or hot food selection. Walking distance from a couple of fast food joints, but nothing "nice". The Big Buck Brewery next door is closed down.
I would stay here again.
