They have no vegetarian options so I had to eat tilapia that was served to me in it's entirety - head sitting on the pate next to the decapitated body. The fish was accompanied by 2 scoops of white rice, which had a soapy flavor to it... I was happy to know that they were using soap, but I'd prefer not to find out by tasting it...
Overall, I'm giving it 2 stars because I'm still alive and frankly, after traveling to some pretty sketchy parts of the world, this was far from the worst food I've ever eaten ;)

Yesterday, I saw some awesome shoes at a great value! I even found a gorgeous pair of carved wood Stella McCartney wedges marked down from $1,100 to around $350... I didn't buy them, but if you're in the market for something like that, it's an amazing find.
The rest of the store is total chaos. Long lines, babies crying and children running wild though the racks. Merchandise is in complete disarray and it's nearly impossible to find what you're looking for...
The only way to shop at these stores is during the day on a weekday and only for shoes! :)

Being from CA, I sometimes take this type of thing for granted, but it was a nice reminder when I was hiking with my friend, Rachel at Water Dog this morning and she turned to me and said "this is why I moved to California!" That's right, this is what CA is all about :)

None of the fish or produce I've tried was terrible for what it is - commercial food flown in from around the world and not super fresh - but, it's certainly never been great either.
The bakery is good, but I'm surprised they don't carry any uber-healthy bread, since having options like sprouted grain has become quite mainstream.
I really love that they're one of the only supermarkets I've been to that carries Pinot Noir wines from the Willamette Vally in Oregon - these are the most amazing wines! But, I've had 3 experiences buying wines that they're selling at a deep discount being totally corked - it seems a little suspicious for it to have happened every time and definitely makes me wonder if they are doing this on purpose knowing that most people won't bother to bring it back - I haven't returned any bottles, but I do feel cheated out of the $60 or so that I've wasted on them...
I've also had issues with all of the flowers I've purchased here being old. They always fall apart within the first 2 days and recently some mums even fell apart one the drive home!
Also, I've had freshness issues with the sushi twice and don't recommend trying it... if you're there for lunch, opt for a sandwich instead, they do a good job on those.
Fresh baked strawberry rhubarb pie (amazing to take home and top with Strauss vanilla ice cream!)
Artichoke pesto bread with Harley Farms spreadable goat cheese
Cinnamon English muffins - take home to toast and butter!
All 'round awesome, home baked goods that really do taste just like grandma made them :)

Yesterday I set up my Socialbees businesses account (finally!) and the process was super smooth and easy. Today I had a snag with my PayPal merchant account and a B of A online banking rep helped to get everything sorted out and working perfectly in a jiffy! Now I'm ready for your credit cards, people... show me the money! ;)

Another added bonus Busaba was that it wasn't insanely pricey - I'm speaking as an American having gone there when the dollar/pound conversion was nearly 2 to 1, so it was hard to find anywhere to go that didn't completely break the bank ;) At any rate, the prices were great for what they provide and we had a lovely time, as I'm sure you will.
The only drawback I can think of was that they don't take reservations, so you have to go on the early side if you don't want to wait.
