I think I've always just assumed that getting my car worked on would never be a pleasant experience. The fact is though, I switched to Diamond about a year ago and I've had nothing but praise for these guys. They're patient and listen to my questions, regardless of how ignorant they are. They are quick, thorough and honest. Best of all, their prices are really good. They've done work for me at half the price my dealer quoted me.
This one of the staples of Jenkintown. I've been here 30 times and I usually have a great experience. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Every once and a while though the staff will be distracted/grumpy and they get the order wrong or the bagel is stale but that is a rare occurrence.
Plan what time you go wisely. There's been a number of times I've not even bothered to enter because the line was out the door.
Heaven. I love this place. Everything I've had has been great. It's actually a nice place to sit down now as well. They've really classed up the place since it was Abners.
If you go with a group of people make sure to get their loaded fries. It's the best!
This is a good place to go for sushi. It's in walking distance to me and is usually a really quiet restaurant. Because of that I've been here 5 or 6 times. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is good. My wife and I will or 4 or their sushi and get a great dinner for just a pinch of $20 bucks!
I'd been going to Ralphs nearby for years but this place came recommended to me by a friend. It's a great small shop that gives a really good cut at a great price.
I was thinking about giving Alma de Cuba a three star review but the two star description of "meh" sums up my feelings pretty concisely.
I went during restaurant week. The place is really unique and "hip" inside. The wait staff is nice as well. There really isn't anything bad about this place. But the price, even during restaurant week, blew my mind. The food I ate was not worth that much money nor were the drinks. Maybe I'm just shell shocked. I don't know. This is definitely not a place I plan on going to again.
This is one unique restaurant. It's in a tiny converted train house which is only one room that can maybe fit 30ish people. The kitchen is literally in the middle of this place which is neat but could be a little noise. I would say that the environment is somewhere between cozy and cramped with a slight preference to cozy. The wait staff was friendly and made the experience very comfortable.
The food was absolutely delicious. I don't know what they put in their sauces because I had a hard time putting my fork down. They are rich, creamy and full of flavor.
Definitely remember to bring a nice red. My wife and I brought a special bottle of Amarone and it went perfectly with the meal.
This place is great. I always love finding places that truly appreciate a good beer and this is definitely one of those. Their beer list is amazing and their food is delicious. I also really like how the place is laid out. It's a comfortable environment that isn't too crowded but it doesn't feel empty.
Your standard college town bar...with a twist. Well, not that much of a twist. It's just a college bar with a great beer selection. The best part is they place your "standard" beers (Bud, Miller, Coors) in it's own list at the end of their beer book with a title that says "Macrobrews (Shame on you!)"
This is a beer lover's bar. Great selection that is constantly on the move with news things coming in. They also have the best wings for miles and miles.
My major complaint is that they need some place online to announce their beer list and events. I want to give them my money I just need to know the best times!
Highly recommended.
