Unbelievable!!! My family brought me here for my birthday last Wednesday.
I wish I could add my server's name, but he went above and beyond!!! ( guess 60 caught up with me)
      The food was outstanding...
I had the thinly fillets of catfish which was lightly breaded, served over rice topped with a lobster sauce, lump crab meat then beautiful tender shrimp. Literally to die for.
My brother had the Hangar Steak nice and tender, with a Creole sauce on top. I always think ordering red meat in a seafood restaurant is always a no no. He liked it, but envied mine... Lol
His wife has the Large Shrimp in a tomato based Creole sauce, once she got her meal, not a word out of her....
My sister had the pork tenderloin medallions. Which came with carrots over a garlic mashed potato. Again I could see a bit of disappointment. But I stand true to fish is 88 % of menu... Don't order meat.
Of course I haven't had these gorgeous little guys in forever... But don't be afraid. The frog leg appetizer is the bomb.
Since it was my birthday I highly recommend ordering the Golden beet salad, with candied pecans, arugula, tomato served with a white truffle smear topped with fried capers... Thought I died and went to heaven. Fried capers delish! Also some artfully placed roasted red pepper sauce. Equally as good.
Last but not least fresh beignets which came with a strawberry dipper, but I asked the waiter if there was raspberry.... Don't leave home without it! But much to my surprise came a complimentary cup of vanilla ice cream with the BEST SALTED CARMEL EVER TOO PASS THESE LIPS! Iske my own, but no comparison....

Hit all my senses as soon as I walked through the door!
What a way to start my first meal here in Albuquerque.
I had the ribeye enchiladas Christmas with an egg on top... Sweet Jesus it was on fire!! So good...with extra green Chile, that literally brought a tear too my eye! My father enjoyed his brisket Relleno, but could only eat one.... Guess I'll be nuking that for a snack! Place was hopping busy, but the staff didn't miss a thing.
Looks like I'll be hitting this place again.... Soon!

What a mess. I snagged this room through Hotelscom. And should of figured it was not going to be good, when I called ahead of time to the hotel to inquire about handicapped accessible bathroom. They explained to me that they had the same room for 265.00 per night, 100.00 more then Hotel.com. BUT said they would match price once they verified the offer. So while I waited on hold, the person from the Hilton, explained to me she couldn't match price, because it was a third party, and they couldn't verify price. WHATEVER...I said I just called to verify handicapped accessible room. Anyway, I booked it through Hotels.com and sure enough, 155.00 a night as stated it was.
But!!! What a poor excuse for a Hilton. These establishments have a long running rep for being e upscale. This was a dump, very up kept, room smelled odd, sheets were doused in bleach, and the pillow cases came in three shades of white.
The handicapped bathroom, had 1, ONE, veritical grab bar next to the faucet. No removable shower head,no chair, but I asked, and they brought one.
I'm sure ADA regulations are not being met here. Plus oddly on the corners of bathroom there's spackled, unpainted fix it jobs. I was shocked!
I won't be going there again. Your welcome!!!

So glad I found this hidden gem!
While on a trip through SLC, I chose to stay in Cottonwood Heights.
Man this restaurant could not have been any sweeter. The food was excellent, but the really kicker was my waiter Jake.
What an awesome, polite, and over all great young man.
After what was a perfect meal, I had the Huevos Rancheros and my 92 year old father enjoyed the French toast with fresh berry compote, eggs, and what looked like to me handmade sausage.
Jake brought the bill, left with my payment, then returned and said that the meal was on him. Thanking my father for his service in the Korean War.
What a wonderful feeling, knowing that a man as young as Jake could bless us with such a gift. Thankyou hundred times over!
