Whoever gave this place over 3 stars is a total c*nt.  The grizzly old waitress that calls everyone 'baby' most likely picked that habit up at a Turnpike truck stop while giving BJs to the clientele.  Fun fact: she's still got that "Ol' G" long pinky nail so she can scoop up those bumps of coke on her breaks.  

The food at this place was saucy.  When I say saucy, I don't mean how my mom refers to South American women.  If you tip your plate, you ruin your shirt saucy.  I got the veal francaise and my girlfriend got the carbonara.  The veal was chewy and gross and the pasta was overcooked like Chef Boyardee.  My girlfriend's carbonara had so much creamy sauce all over it, it looked like it had been through a gangbang before coming to our table.

Great surveying products at cheap prices.  They also sell used equipment.  Purchased a Leica Laser Measurer and this place was 18% cheaper than any place online.

Good service, but only two outdoor fields - the website says they moved from indoor to out.  The field paint is a bit pricey, but not worth complaining.  Good spot for a big group with unlimited air/500 rounds for $40.

The Yum Talay could only be better if my dick was in it.

Amazing carne asada tacos and homemade salsa.  Great place for lunch/dinner if you don't mind eating at a hole in the wall.

FIU is a community college that somehow got 'University' appended.

University life is a joke, with fake Greek organizations filled with kids that still live with mommy & daddy. GC (the union) is filled with ghetto  kids on a daily basis and can often be indistinguishable from a rap concert as 'the pit' is inhabited by DJs and other groups that blast music at you with huge club speakers. They apparently use the south beach retail store mentality to draw attention.

Organizationally, Financial Aid is a complete clusterf*ck. I've had a random hold placed on my account every semester - one of which was for completing my credits too fast. They really promote the 10yr student plan. I currently have a hold on my account that they can't remove and I fear it may effect my graduation. Neither Financial Aid nor the Registrar can remove it since the computer placed it. Last time I checked, computers need an input to generate an output - else the machines would take over like in the Terminator.

There shouldn't be any sports at FIU. With the legacy of UM around the corner, no one cares. You don't need sports to have a University and that allocated money could be used for academic initiatives.

The only saving grace is the fitness facility that is well-maintained and provides machines, free weights and cardio classes.

Great place to find old VHS tapes like Blackula and Shaft.  The faded out posters in the storefront give the aire of originality.

I saw Jesus after my first bite of the Moussaka.

Shwarma on Laffa is big enough for 3 people.  I swear that thing was 6lbs of kosher goodness...
