The roasted peppers are super simple but a great addition to any pizza there. I also loved their bacon pizza which had the moistest tastiest bacon ever. We also had their pork cheeks which were exceptional but the grits were a little starchy for my taste. The pate appetizer was awesome with fresh figs.
Will def be back to taste more stuff but call ahead so I don't have to wait as long.

I had the sausage butternut squash ravioli and it was one of the most delicious pasta dishes I have ever had. Great wine and cocktail list as well. I love the Italian blend we got and the strawberry ginger cocktail.
If you are looking for awesome homemade, unique, and interesting Italian food you must come here.

Also loved that they kept some odes to Clown Alley with the scary clown painting and the clown burger on the menu.

Finally after an amazing show at Hemlock (The Dutchess and The Duke and Blankdogs) I was starved and looking for a place then would let us sit down at 10:30. Chai Yo is was.
It may now rival LIttle Thai and Mekong(now called something else) as my new neighborhood go to spot. I had the Papaya Salad and Bags of Gold to start. Salad was amazing perfectly crisp, fresh and spicy with just the right amount of fish sauce. BOGs were good, although I like Mekongs Curry Puffs better.
Squash curry was amazing as were the Drunken Noodles very spicy and perfectly spiced. Also would rec the garlic rice to have with the curry.
Also it was cheap but clean and the staff was super nice. Bonus points for Thai Ice Teas served in giant mugs and not tiny cups. Desert looks bomb will have to come back with more time to try it out.

Went on a Sat night had reservations and still waited about 20 minutes, the place is pretty packed and super busy so be prepared to wait a little.
Started out with some sparkling Shiraz from Australia that was amazing. Had the chilli fry shrimps (kinda small only about 5 shrimp but tasty) and the Masala Chutney Dosa (AMAZING) for appetizers.
For mains we split the Kerala Fish Curry that was the best thing we had all night. It has an awesome pungent peanut sauce with coconut flavored rice on the side. We also had the Paneer Duck which was ok really spicy and tender duck but only about two legs and a boring side salad (will def try another main next time).
The desert was the Coconut Barfi which was kinda like an egg roll filled with coconut and kiwi and raspberry sauce on the side. It said caramel in the description which is why I ordered it couldn't taste any caramel. Would prob try a different desert next time.
But overall the look and feel, service, drinks, and food quality will def have me coming back. I really enjoyed it much more than the Mission location you have more room and it feels more elegant.

It did take our waiter like 20 minutes to come to our table and take our drink orders which felt way too long, but he did apologize. Also major lag between appies and mains but he warned us the kitchen was backed up and we got free wine.
The above would cause me to give it three but the food was so good it got bummed back up to 4.
Started with an amazing crab salad with grapefruit and creme fraiche. My boyfriend has the Cesar and it was also really tasty. Loved the bavertte steak and cauliflour that comes with it. I tried his cod with chirizo and it was also really good.
Would def go back for a special occasion or with out of town guests, also great bar for eating some appes and drinks (they have recession cocktails for $6, or what i like to call what drinks should cost)

I had the lamb plate and it was awesome, the hummus is also so so good. They serve your pita warm which I also appreciate. I will be calling them for takeout for sure as it is nice to mix it up form the usually thai and Chinese takeaway.
