+ fast, professional, quiet, and cheap. - occasional line & parking.
Classical musician boyfriend insists on getting his hair cut here before big performances. Truthfully, I hated the short haircuts he got from other places, but I like the cuts he gets here!
I only wish she would do my hair because I would trust her in a heartbeat. ;)
Still find myself daydreaming about Bruxie and repeatedly bringing it up in casual conversation. How many times have I been there? Once. A month ago.
Went on a late Saturday night after a long day in SD. It was freezing, we parked in the dark a few blocks away, and there was a line, but it was totally worth it.
ATMOSPHERE Young adults, couples. Limited seating is mostly outdoors. FOOD Phenomenal Strawberry Crème Brûlée waffle. GET IT.
I wish I lived closer to Bruxie so I could try every last item on their menu...
Went because of the hype with a group of 7 friends last Friday night. Had to wait a while but were seated right before closing.
PARKING Use their valet service; trying to find your own is a nightmare. ATMOSPHERE Loud, 25-30ish crowd. Don't remember if there was music. DRINKS $3 bottled fountain drinks both standard and odd. Meh. FOOD Yum: Sweet Potato Fries, Thin Fries, and Tempura Onion Rings. They were 'out' of Smushed Potatoes. Ok: Umami Ketchup, Roasted Garlic Aioli, and Jalapeño Ranch dips. Meh: Earth Burger was cold, with odd flavor and crumbly texture. Portabello Burger reportedly 'okay.' Umami Burger reportedly good, but not spectacular. Maybe we went too late in the evening?
The outing was fun, but thanks is definitely due to awesome friends rather than the food... We might try to go again, but not so late at night.
