I completely agree with fellow Yelper Lupe M. This was my very first experience tasting their infamous tangy yogurt. It's pretty cool that Pinkberry is located inside an airport since that's where I frequently am. A healthier alternative to pizza, pasta, and fast food burgers. I hope Pinkberry opens up in other airports... which would be awesome.
This is one of the few chain-type restaurants that I actually enjoy dining at... whether it's in the Gaslamp in San Diego, Union Square in San Francisco, Scottsdale and now here in Sac-town... I always know what I'm getting... delicious food and excellent service. We were here for happy hour... it's my friend's favorite place to go for happy hour. We had the lump crab cakes, Kobe beef sliders and expresso martinis... amazingly yummy!
Came to Sac to visit my friend and to check out her hometown. I would have preferred to do something extremely mellow, but she was excited to take me out to places she likes. As far as the decor and overall vibe of this place... I liked it slightly better than it's competition down the street "Mix". But honestly the scene was pretty much the same. But it really doesn't matter... it's another loungy bar... which I really am so tired of. So maybe I need to be a little more persuasive with my friends... a delicious dinner at a hip new classy restaurant or at a swanky wine bar is more my scene.
Phenomenal customer service. I didn't get a chance to meet Jennifer the owner, but her husband was super friendly and spoke of her so highly that I immediately felt their excitement and passion for their business. Apparently they just had a fashion show recently with the proceeds going to some charity, which I thought was really cool... so the store has not been restocked yet with new items. But I still managed to find a sparkly sequenced tunic, which will be a perfect cocktail dress in Vegas.
I will definitely come back to this vintage-looking boutique when I visit my friends here in Sac-town. i was excited to hear that they are considering opening another store in SF, possibly on Chestnut... wow I would absolutely love that... in the Marina!

I actually liked the fun vibe and overall ambiance when we first walked up to the bar area. The decor was swanky and cool with an open roof top deck... as to be expected for a fairly new hot spot in Sac. The music was pretty good too. Unfortunately I don't get what the hype is about this place. I guess primarily because it is new. What was disappointing was the scene... or lack of one. The crowd was mediocre at best. Lacking intelligent, attractive non-smoking, physially fit, professionals... instead the clientele consisted of primarily ignorant, over weight, rude smokers... no mix here... just purely ghetto. Needless to say, we stayed as long as we could bear... finished our drinks and walked over to Park.
My shopping partner in crime... we seriously have the best times when we shop together. We know each others tastes and dislikes... She was absolutely right... Krazy Mary's was great. We both found a sexy surprisingly inexpensive black dress. They do carry designer names with a "pretty penny" price tag to match. I found an adorable tunic which I plan to wear as a sexy short dress... perfect for Miami or Vegas. Definitely some cute finds in here:)
After a day of shopping, we finally decided to grab a late lunch here. Since my friends are locals they suggested this place. I was craving a delicious salad. We started off with a Blood Mary which was very good. And a warm cheese of some sort with sundried tomatoes and bread which was surprisingly yummy. But it ws the salad that my friend raved about "Chop chop"... I think that's what it was called... it had turkey, salami, mix of the usual veggies / greens tost w/ creamy balsalmic vinaigrette... sounds good, huh? Well I thought it was mediocre at best. I had Mediterranean Chicken salad... which I really didn't care for at all, but ate half of it because I was starving, not because it was all that good.
What is cool about this place is that it is conveniently located next to an awesome boutique.

Definitely a memorable night. We stumbled over here in our stilletos after leaving an extremely low key wine bar. I immediately noticed most women in this place were in cocktail attire... much more dressed up than I would have expected from a lounge located in Sac-town. But then I soon found out why. There was some kind of charity auction event going on. My friend informed me that the good looking guy that was on the stage being auctioned to the women in the audience was on recent episodes of the reality show "Bachelor". We both found it entertaining to watch these women bid on him; and at some point even stopped his shirt off him. He barely protested; I guess he should be proud to show off his hot body.
I liked the trendy white decor of this place with the open patio area. Definitely a fun night.

My girlfriend was absolutely right since she knows me so well... this was definitely our kind of scene. And I loved that her mother was already seated at this cool round table by the circular lively bar.
The Pinot Noir from Russian River was amazing... I wish I could remember the name of the winery. And the brandy steak which I believe has been marinated for 48 hours... was delicious. I had the brandy steak salad. My friend had the lamb lollipops which was just as yummy. I like the trendy fun vibe of this place. My first experience hanging out in Sac-town:)

On a mild summer-like night in November, makes the big open patio a popular hot spot. I'm always a fan of the vaulted high ceilings, dark wood decor with the cool inviting bar .
Since this was my first dining experience... I was pleasantly surprised when I read the menu. The price range was shocking to me... if this restaurant was located back home (SF) would be at least 3x more than what was printed on this menu.
But when I actually tasted the food... then I realized the price range is probably appropriate. I ordered the broiled salmon... which was good, but I've definitely had better. But for what one pays for here, you really can't beat it. SO my review of this place is based on the "scene" not the food. The ambiance and the swanky cool vibe of the place is why it meets the Uptown standards.
An added plus was our server, Maleah... phenomenal. She was super friendly and attentive to all 5 of us in our group.
Oh, don't get this place confused with the Nick & Sam's on Maple Ave. I love that place even more.
