The fact that I have yet to write my review of Nami should be an insult to vegans and sweet lovers everywhere!

Nami, short for Tsoynami, is heaven on earth. or the moon. jupiter. wherever there is heaven, there is Nami.

Soy "tsoft" serve ice cream. Winkies. Snickerdoodles. Various cupcakes. Various cakes. Coffee with a choice of soy, almond, rice, and even hazelnut milk!

Although they have only done it once, Nami is planning on running a regular Sunday brunch in February. I thought it was amazing when I went to the beta test. Multiple scramble options in addition to chilaquilles and other brunch creations.

Do yourself a favor and stop by. If not for the treats, for the awesome dancing and singing always taking place!

I have been a huge fan of Hawaiian Experience Spa in Scottsdale for probably three years now, and I am very exited that they opened this Chandler location because it spares me from the long drive to Northeast Scottsdale!

Just like Scottsdale, the Chandler location is decorated in Hawaiian theme and they certainly went all out. I really love the lounge that overlooks palm trees and the water! You can't get much closer to Hawaii!

The facility is really nice, and I love that they added a second locker/changing room. They also have TWO showers (which are worth the trip on their own), steam rooms, and infrared saunas which are supposed to be great to kick start your metabolism.

One of the best things about Hawaiian Experience Spa is their wide variety of couples treatments and how well they accommodate couples. They have great date nights or romantic packages for just because (or special occasions). Couples can use all of the facilities together (separate if you prefer) which is really cool.

I know that Steve and Kathy put a TON of love into creating this location and I am so happy to see this great local business expanding!

Yeah... I was wondering the same thing, but thanks to Lindsey's hard work, she was able to secure me a spot and a delicious vegan meal! At a steakhouse!

My table was obviously the best, as it sat me, Lindsey F, Nathan S, George S, Sunny B, Scott D, and some other people that I don't remember because I had several glasses of the delicious Cab that never stopped flowing. Hopefully everyone overheard the subject matter we had going because it made for an interesting time.

The hands down BEST thing about this event was Donna, our amazing server. She was literally the most friendly, on-the-ball, server I have ever had and she has quite the personality. You can tell she loves what she does, and I love her.

Thanks to D&C for accommodating my special needs and making me a salad and a special pasta primavera so I could partake in the championship eating. I really enjoyed the leftovers today!

This was seriously such a unique and fun event, and I look forward to some more intimate Elite events in the future!

Dr. DeMark is the best dentist on the planet. He is so friendly, warm, and funny. Always making jokes, telling you exactly what he is going to do, and checking in during procedures to make sure you are okay. He calls you the night of your procedure just to make sure everything is okay instead of having you sit in pain miserable overnight on the rare case something goes awry.

Most people hate their dentists, but, I love mine! If he wasn't married with 8 kids, I'm sure he would love me too!

Anyway, onto business. The whole entire office at Today's Dental is super friendly and accommodating. I love going there (seriously) because everyone is so nice and friendly, they make sure all of your questions are answered, and they spend whatever time they need with you versus making you feel like a number.

The office is really nice, clean, and they have two TV's with about 100 channels in every room. One for when you are sitting up, and one on the ceiling when you are laying down! Baller!

The hours are great and they normally always have lunch appointments available.

100% recommend this office. I have referred 4 people there already who are equally as happy with Dr. DeMark and Today's Dental!

It is an honor to be the First To Review this brand new Green location!

Just like Green Tempe, the menu provides an array of delicious vegan treats ranging from salads to flatbread pizzas to bugers, Po Boys, and bowls filled with various varieties of mock meat.

Everything at this location tastes exactly the same as the other location, however, the love exudes from every meal prepared by the incredibly friendly and eager staff.

The location is great, and is perfectly located next to Nami - where you can pick up your vegan soft tserve "blizzards" in any form you desire. I recommend peanut butter with double chick-o-sticks.

The actual restaurant is super clean, modern, and fresh. The front is a glass garage door that when the weather allows, will open to a patio. I cannot wait for this.

If you have not been to Green, I highly recommend you give it a try... the artichoke gratine, chili fries, yellow curry with crispy tofu, and secret BBQ sandwich are among my favorites.

And don't forget your dessert next door at Nami!

The Vegan Lunchbox is the best thing to happen to Vegans in Phoenix. and Scottsdale. and Tempe. and Mesa. Well, pretty much the whole state of Arizona.

Vegan Lunchbox is a homemade vegan delivery service that has literally changed my life. Leyla is so incredibly sweet and she has an amazing story centered around frustrations over lunch options for vegans. She took her frustration and turned it into an incredible business idea!

In addition to the extremely friendly service and incredible food, Vegan Lunchbox is also incredibly computer literate. There are three options: Weekly fresh service, weekly frozen service, Monthly fresh service, and monthly frozen service. I went with the weekly fresh service and am delighted each day when Leyla shows up with a freshly made vegan lunch of my choosing at 11:15am.

I have to say, I loved everything, but the chart toppers for me were the homemade bacon burger, the potato salad, and the brownie.

Some people think of being vegan as an inconvenience or a nuisance, but The Vegan Lunchbox and I agree that being vegan is a luxury, and it sure shines through in the AMAZING vegan creations!

Give them a try... and you won't turn back!

Do yourself a favor and order the Yin & Yang vegan style with braised Tofu. I rode three miles, uphill, to get here... and made it a point to come back a second time. The combination of crispy potatoes, black beans, jalapenos, braised tofu, and green onions is absolutely amazing. For non-vegans, it also comes with cheese and sour cream, and you can add eggs.

Naked Cafe has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options for vegans and meat eaters alike, combined with friendly service, and indoor/outdoor seating with a dog-friendly patio. Absolutely recommended!!

When me and the lovely Ayesha S. made the decision we needed to get the heck out of town for the 4th, I remembered a great trip to Ocean Beach two years back and immediately began looking for accommodations. I wanted something different; no Marriott or stuffy hotel, so I went onto http://vrbo.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner) and immediately fell in love with The Brighton Beach Bungalows.

The reservation process was very easy; email exchange followed by a phone call, and working with Laurie and Ian was incredibly easy. They are a lovely married couple who own the two rental homes, appropriately named the "Sun" and "Surf" bungalows.

Upon arrival, we were excited to see that we were about a block off of Ocean Beach, had our own garage (which is very necessary on the busy block), there were 5 or 6 cruisers for us to ride around on, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach blanket... and even a shower outside in the yard area.

Once inside, the same attention to detail carried all through the house. Wifi, two TV's, every type of dish or cooking item you could ever need, ample towels, a plush, comfortable couch and incredibly comfortable bed. Everything we needed was right there for us.

Even on last minute booking, the bungalows are perfectly reasonable cost wise, and the ability to cook and entertain without having to eat out every meal was fabulous.

This was the perfect place to stay, and I will never stay anywhere else in San Diego again!!
