The times I've been there Gina has done my color and cuts. She's very good with color, and I recommend her. The only criticism I have is that it seems like she's in such a hurry to get you in and out. Her assistant does most of the work. And her assistant kinda does a half-assed job of blow drying and styling my hair. I pay a lot to get my hair cut and colored and I always have to re-style my hair when I get home.

This review is based only on her bikini wax skills, I haven't gone to her for anything else. But I'm confident she's good with other waxing services. I don't do full-blown Brazilians anymore, I do a modified one, and she does an excellent, almost painless job. IMO, getting a Brazilian is no walk in the park. There's always going to be some degree of pain. Some people are better at handling it than others. However, Jessica makes it as painless as possible. If you're wanting a Brazilian, I would highly recommend her.

Willow Glen Urgent Care and General Medicine

But I would not recommend going there if you have you have major medical emergency. Go to a hospital.
My boyfriend had an accident, he fell off his bicycle and broke his arm in the early evening. I wanted to take him somewhere close where I could get him out of pain. I'm still pretty new to the San Jose area, and I wasn't quite sure where to take him. I knew Willow Glen UC&GM was very close by, so I took him there. That was a mistake, I should have just taken him to a major hospital, but I was in a bit rattled, and wasn't thinking very clearly. The level of care and service we got there was sub par. I should have known better.
My boyfriend was in terrible pain. I parked out front, had him wait in the car because he was in so much pain he could barely move (I'm still surprised I was able to get him in the car to take him there).
I went up to the front desk, and told them (in a calm & polite tone) that my boyfriend has broken his arm, is this something that you can take care of? The lady behind the desk said "Yes". So I'm thinking, wow this is great!
Then I said that I need someone to come help me get him out of the car because he's in a lot of pain. The lady behind the desk (and I still can't believe she said this), "What? He's not able to get out by himself?" The correct response to that should have been. "Yes, I'll get a nurse or someone to help you." Anyway, I told her again, no, he's in a lot of pain and I'm not strong enough to move him on my own. Can you help me? Then she started talking to the other girl at the desk with her. I couldn't hear what they were saying. I hope they were trying to find someone.
Then I said, fine I'll do it myself. And then a very nice man in the waiting room said he would help me. There was a wheel chair in the waiting room, so we got it and pushed it outside to where I was parked and got him in the wheel chair. If it weren't for the man in the waiting room helping me, there was no way I could have done this by myself. If you're reading this, a big thank you! As we get ready to push him through the sliding door, a nurse finally comes out.
I'm not going to go into any more details about what else happened while we were there. This story ends with the doctor telling us that they couldn't do anything, and to go home and she would call a bone specialist in the morning. I just couldn't accept that for an answer, and I ended up taking him to O'Connor Hospital right after where he got the care he needed. He had to have surgery.
I just wish the lady who was working behind the desk that evening was more helpful and courteous. I wished she would have said when I first walked in and asked for assistance, "I'm sorry, but a broken arm is beyond our scope, you need to take him to a major hospital."
I felt like the whole time I was talking to her I was putting her out. And like most medical offices, she was very concerned on what our insurance was and how we were going to pay. I finally told her she WILL get paid. Good grief! And I think was pretty calm and polite to her, I don't think I raised my voice, but I almost lost my cool with her.
I realize how negative this all is, but I think people should know. And I see the two five star reviews, so I'm sure this facility is fine with minor medical issues...or if you have strep throat or the flu. But the staff needs to adopt a more helpful and caring attitude.

It was very difficult for me to not compare this version to the Broadway one. I was very lucky to have seen Phantom on Broadway with Sarah Brightman and the extremely talented Michael Crawford, so I'm a little biased.
But I didn't care for the Reader's Digest version of the play. It's basically a sampler of the real show skipping a lot of the substance of the original play to create kind of a cheapened experience. The Broadway play is so much more rich.
I have to agree, by cutting out over an hour, Christine and the Phantom never had a chance to build up their love lost relationship in the first half. The horror and suspense was missing through out the show, which I think affected the actors performances. I think the actors did the best they could with what time they had.

The biggest stand out for us was their deserts. The lemon tart was to die for, and some chocolaty, raspberry cake, goodness. I can't recall the name, but it was delirious.

Lately I've been going to Coco. She does a fine job with color. She spends time talking to you about your hair and what would look best on you. I really enjoy the one-on-one attention you get from her.
I would also recommend Gina. She is talented and great with color. My only issue with her is that I kind of felt like I was on a conveyor belt when I would go see her. The times I went to her she had 2 or 3 clients going at the same time...spending 10, maybe 15 minutes with them, and then her assistant would take over. The assistant does the majority of the work. In a way, I understand, because the assistant is an aspiring stylist, and how else is she going to learn. But maybe if she did a better job at at styling, it wouldn't have been such a issue for me. Call me selfish, but I like to be the center of attention when i get my hair done. So, if you don't mind the conveyor belt atmosphere, and her assistant doing most of the work, then go to Gina. I don't mean for this review to sound negative- Gina's good. She's very personable. It's just a matter of personal preference.
