Lobster Feast

My g/f and I ate here like a year or two ago. Like everything else in florida it goes more down hill as every year passes. The seafood is not fresh and bland. The only thing that was not bland were the oysters and those were covered in this gross mayo goup. The lobster its self was the only thing that was pretty good. But unless you plan on going and eating JUST lobster than I wouldn't go if I were you. Not only that they have to pass you a lobster one at a time.
I've yet to have a really goo meal at any REd Lobster in Orlando. The last time I went was to take my dad out for his birthday. His lobster was tough and scalops were chewy. The food is ALWAYS just so-so. The time before that I got the shrimp scampy but the only flavor that stood out was salt. The service is always ok. The only reason I give Red Lobster 2 stars instead of 1 are the buscuits and the drinks.

The Ravenous Pig

So my g/f and I decided to give this place a try. Being called the ravnous pig I expected some sort of bar b que pork dish or sandwich. After sat down an looked at the somewhat expensive menu and asked why there was no pig on the menu whe got the answer of "we'll we're a conceptual restaurant". I believe they do do the pig roast on ocassion but for the most part this is just another overpriced restaurant that takes themselves way to seriously.

OMG the lady's at Nikki's were wonderful. The really take their time with you and give you great advice for dressing plus-size curves. The customer service here was the best I've ever had any where. The girls themselves are a plus-sized as well so you don't fell like there's a bunch of skinny girls telling you what they think you should where. Whats super fab is that one of the girls (I'm soo sorry I suck with names) does alterations, so if you find that dream dress or business suit that needs a little tuck here or there they can help. Not that you'll really need it becuase they're not like other stores. A lot of shops carry the same clothes/designers for big girls as they do for skinny girls just in bigger sized. But Nikki carries designers that make cuts for specifially for big girls. The shop is kinda small but they have a wide variety of styles and prices. I have to say Nikki's is the best shop i've ever been to for the full figured woman.

I don't know what's up with all of the negative reviews. The staff was ok and the cream puff was heavenly creamy richfullness. My fruit tart was pretty good too. The pasterys run between $2-&6. They're a diner too. My coffee was pretty good. I'm from orlando were every dinner serves Folgers or Maxwell so I feel spoiled to be served something better. The breakfast was good. $5 For a pile of scrambled eggs, potatos and buscuit and homemade perserves. (the best perserves i've ever had in my entire life!!)

This is a pretty great place. They offered to bring us drinks while we were waiting in line for the doors to open.
We saw the Peek-A-Boo-Revue. The show was f***ing awsome. I wish so much we had a burlesque troupe in Orlando. I voluteered to go on stage (I had already had couple drinks) - Bad I idea. Every joint in my body was stiff and hurting for all of the walking around town we've done over the last 4 days so I had no business getting on stage. But it was so much fun and they don't make you feel like an idiot. You came come to philly without seeing the Peek-A-Boo Revue. I can't speak for the food becuase we didn't have any but the drinks were good and my gin and tonic was just right- strong.

Yummy, one of the reasons I'm adding to my list for moving to philly. The meat of tender, juicy and flavorful. Oh and the bread is phanominal. I was lucky to hit this place when we first got into town on a weekday evening. Every time we passed by it during the day or on the weekend, there was always a line out the door and around the corner. - You can understand why. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating is that I could have used just a little more wiz.
Zot was my least favorite favorite place out of all of the places we ate at in philly. I ordered the 1/2 kilo of mussles. There were a pretty good number of mussles but they were sooo tiny. I guess being from florida I'm used to mussles that actually fill up thier shell. These were pigmy mussles and the fries were gross. The fries were all oily and mushy. So between me and my girlfriend all together we had 1 order of fries; a kilo of tiny mussles and 2 beers came to $53. Sorry, I'll pay $10 for a strong good coctail, not for a beer.
This is one of the worst apartments complexes in orlando. Though better than Holly Garden apts. When we moved in the carpet was old and dirty and they refused to replace it. The roaches were horrible. They had a guy come in and spay but I swear it was only water in is can. I was locked out of my house one night. It was about midnightish, I had just got back from night class. The property manage was sitting on her porch but refused to call maintenance for me or lend me the change for the pay phone. (this was before I could afford a cell phone). I lived there in 2003-2006 and the management was just mean. And the pool always smelled like pure bleach. It was disgusting. Oh, and I had my clothes stolen from the laundry mat once. Its in a relatively nice neighboor hood and you wouldn't expect this place to be awful. But just trust me, they suck.

Rocky's Replay

I wanted to like Rock'y. I thought it would be a great way to kill an afternoon, perhaps become a regular hang out. But the sheer suckatood of this place will keep me away. Don't get me wrong they have pretty good amount of games. Pinball, shooter games, racing games, fighter games. The only classic game being Ms. Pac Man. No Simpsons or Mario Bros. Just man games.
Ok, thats fine I could learn to like some of the games there but seriously you sell beer and your beer selection consits of 3 bottles and 2 drafts?
And whats with the anti-clove trend in bars in florida? Either you allow smoking or you don't. Thats what really pissed me off and made me hate Rocky's. You can't smoke cloves. You can smoke any nasty generic brand of smokes you want there, but no cloves!
