The food here at Thailand Restaurant was fairly typical Thai fare, though the staff and service wasn't the best. Great for a quick bite at lunch, but probably not for a nice dinner. The food was excellent tasting however, and I would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

Not the best Thai food I've had, but not the worst by far. Check it out if you're in the area for a quick lunch.

Excellent Chines food, and phenomenal service. I came here with my Uncle and his friend, who were regulars, and they ordered for us. Everything we had was quite good, and as I said, the service was amazing. Jeff came and talked to us a few times, and was extremely friend, and the staff is definitely on top of their customers.

Overall, the quality of the food was better than most, with typical options. I think that main selling point of the place is the service.

If you're looking for oddities and rare foods, this is nor your pick. But if you're looking for amazing service and friendly staff, definitely go here. It's worth the trip.

Wow. That was... impressive.

Normally a restaurant like this would get four stars from me. I've been to places with both better food, and a wider variety of beer in other places. However, Dover has *nothing* that compares to this place. Like I said, I've seen bigger beer lists. I've eaten better food. But not in Dover, that's for sure.

And don't get me wrong the food was phenominal. Best burger I've eaten in a while. It's definitely a burger joint. If you're looking for a different type of food I won't bother, burger's take up half the menu. But they are GOOD burgers. Cooked to order, with a wide variety of toppings. Great bread. Worth it in every way. The appetizer was good too, creamy buffalo wings and handcut chips with a dip that tasted like a mix of ranch and vegetable dip. Quite good. Oh, and their dessert menu consists of specialty cupcakes. Really damn good specialty cupcakes. You wont find that anywhere else around here.

So as far as the beer goes, it's a small selection, featuring many local brews, as well as some other craft brews from all over the US. Ironically a friend was just telling me about a brewhouse in SF called 21st Amendment, and they had their beers here, so I promptly ordered one and was immediately impressed. Great presentation, and they use the proper glassware (and state which glasses they use in the beer list - great for a beginner). They also offer samples of the beer, which is always a plus.

The biggest problem I did have with Restaurant 55 was the acoustics. We had to repeat our order to the waitress a few times, and actually had trouble hearing each other during the meal, and we went during a slow time, so there weren't many people there. Just the way the building is set up, but I can see it being a big issue when it's crowded.

Overall probably the best food and beer selection I've had in Delaware. Some of the best service I've had in Delaware.
And at a fairly reasonable price.

I think I've found my new favorite place to eat here, but anyone else should definitely check it out!

Well, it's tough to rate this store properly. I've been checking out Our Game Table since they opened a couple years ago, and I have to say that I've been very critical of the store. When they opened I was excited about a board game store opening in my area. They closest one otherwise is in Newark.
Then I started going there frequently and the store picked up a steadier clientele and I started to not like it. The owners don't have the best business sense, and there was room for a lot of improvement, and the store attracted the typical type of clientele that I don't enjoy hanging out around. So I stopped going.
Then about a year ago I got a birthday coupon for the store so I decided to stop in and use it and met the new manager the owners had hired. He was much better at running the business, and had "straightened out" a lot of their clientele. I started frequenting the store again, and become friends with a few of the people there. But then I noticed a subtle change...

The store is a fantastic place to shop and hang out, when the right employee is working. If you go in there when one of the few employee's who smart and able to "control" their less desirable clientele ISN'T working... it's like walking into a preschool, and makes the shopping experience horrendous. So I was very torn between 2 and 3 stars.

The store's selection of RPG books is also very limited. If you're into CCG's or board/card games this is an excellent store. Their selection of board games is phenominal. But the limited selection of table top rpg books is very sad, and makes me wish I worked there if only to fix that problem for them.

All said and done, if you're an RPG gamer - go to Days of Knights in Newark. That's what their focus is. But if you love board games, and are willing to gamble a little with your shopping experience - Our Game Table is an excellent store, sometimes.

While it's the only comic shop in Dover (Yes there is another one, but I don't count a shop that sells maybe 20 different titles... that's not a comic shop) it has a lot of room for improvement.
Superior Comics has a decent selection of comics, but the selection is very mainstream. I have a more eclectic taste in comics, and the selections that I prefer are very rarely represented. I've even asked them to order some titles specifically for me, which they advertise that they will do, and they never did it.

Honestly. If you are a big comic buff, it's worth it to make the drive up to Newark...

From antiques, to bootleg movies, to rusted old tools no one would want to buy anyway, Spence's has it all. The various vendors to come to ply their wares are interesting in their own right, and it's fun to simply wander around and peruse the selection of gadgets, movies, swords, antique jewelery, and bargain makeup. There is also an auction, a barber, a Farmer's/Amish market, and a pizza place.
Spence's is only open Tuesday and Friday morning, I believe so you have to be a morning person to get to go (which I am not sadly so I rarely make it over there).
Whether you are in the market for some cheap movies (assuredly bootlegged), costume jewelery, old tools you'll never use, or a "Made in Taiwan" sword... or the thousands of other things you can buy, Spence's is definitely a fun place to go...

Decent food, cheap, quick friendly service. Small establishment. I only give it three stars because the food is just okay... nothing to rave about, it'd edible, doesn't taste BAD, and is cooked well. Nothing says "Mmmmm tasty" like chicken fingers that are still half-frozen, and these ones are not.

Oh... and it's La Ortolana...

The sushi here was amazing. Got take-out the other day with my roommate, and we were both really impressed. It's not the best sushi I've had in the city, and it's really expensive, but it's excellent. They also had Fatty Tuna, which I've been having trouble finding here. I'd give them 5 stars, but I think it was slightly over-priced.

The guys here are pretty awesome.
I went into buy a new bag, and the guy I talked to was really nice, and even went and searched around in the back for a tissue for me (it was cold, I had just biked down and had a runny nose).  He also really helped me with my bag selection, because I was unsure of a few things, and he helped me narrow down which one was best for my needs. Very Knowledgeable, like Yoda.. only not tiny and old (and probably less badass).

They have an excellent selection, great service, and are really cool guys in general. I'd highly recommend going here to check stuff out.

I'm specifically reviewing the Baby Pool at the Navy Yard (which itself is a cool area). The Baby Pool is a park at the Navy Yard which is very, very cool. I know about it primarily from doing Parkour there (which it's amazing for). It's has a playground, a grassy area with trees, and then an area that they fill with water in the summer for kids to play in (maybe a foot deep at the most) with a concrete jungle of sorts around it. It's also right on the harbor and has the Navy Yard and USS Constitution museum next door. There is a convenience store and a Finagle-A-Bagel near by, as well as a public toilet. Also for a fun walk you can walk across the locks that let boats into the Charles (I think, I could be wrong on that) to walk over there instead of taking the bus or walk across the bridge. It's a really fun area to go relax at.
