Service was absolutely slow. They only had 1 waitress the whole time during lunch. It was a beautiful setting like everyone mentioned..but if food = fail, ambiance doesn't really matter.
So being an auditor..I say, "Pass for further consideration".

The potato balls are a must...smooth creamy potatoes with meat inside..how BRILLIANT is that?! They take 3 bites to eat too..I wish they made tiny poppers so it's easier to eat on the way home. Their guava pastries are good too.
I did get the grilled chicken sandwich today and it's very yummy. I don't think you can ever go wrong with any of their sandwiches. I absolutely love this place for their fruit tart cakes. I have yet to try their meat pies, which I definitely have to remind myself to get next time..possibly this Friday. I'll see you there!
The seafood tower is a must if it's your first time..so are the lobster mashed potatoes, the bone in rib-eye, the mac & cheese, and the chocolate pudding cake. Everything else is delicious, even the fish dishes as well as the salads, but those are the MONEY dishes. You will not be disappointed. We actually ordered onion rings today (which is not our usual), and it was seasoned differently than any of the onion rings I've tasted..so I'd definitely recommend those if you're looking for something fried. The only thing I'd skip out on the sides are the au gratin potatoes. Also, a side is fit to serve 4-5 people easily.
Today the waitress forgot our cappucinos, which has never happened before..but because of her mistake, she said it was complimentary. We celebrated my dad's 55th birthday, and they gave us complimentary chocolate layer cake with a candle. I actually had written that on my opentable reservation and didn't have to remind them!
Again, servers, busboys, and valet was incredible. The bread was hot and delicious as well. My favorite is the pretzel bread. If you haven't gone here yet, you are definitely missing out...this is my #1 choice for a steakhouse, and a place to celebrate anything!

Pushed our reservations back 45 minutes; even arrived 45 minutes late, but they were accomodating and acted as if we never wronged them. Great host (Dave) - had a mini convo with him and then he sat our group right next to the table with the view. They have a bar before you enter, and the dining room is not too big but not small either. I liked the way they placed the tables where the bigger groups were in the middle and 1-on-1's were in the corner.
Waiter cracked a lot of jokes with us and the busboys refilled our waters and got our bread right away. I really liked their tomato basil olive sauce.
I took a look at their regular menu and noted that prices were extremely affordable. The Dine LA menu ($44) doesn't serve lobster, but if you ask for it, it's only $6 more! Got the half dozen oysters (2nd best I've eaten, 1st was Water Grill), and they gave me 8! (WHOOHOO free food!). My entree was the lobster which was 1.5 pounds...my friend and I could not finish it! SO MUCH FOOD but so good. Came with a side of potatoes and spinach.
As they had ran out of panna cotta for the night, I got the giant square chocolate chip cookie with nuts and ice cream. It was satisfactory. I think BJ's pizookie tasted better.
I'd definitely come back here. Great for groups and being rowdy. The portions are huge for DineLA, and it was very tasty, so I was pleasantly surprised. Oh, and the waiter initiated taking pictures for us...we didn't have to ask him. Excellent service!

I've been here once on a date and definitely avoid sitting at the tables because the tables are so close to each other! Sushi bar is so much more interesting and it's so much more fun to pass the time watching them make your sushi on the spot..esp if you can't tell how much you're going to eat. We watched them open a giant clam which was really cool.
They have all kinds of sushi and I would recommend the seared albacore, spicy tuna, oyster shooters, hotategai (scallops), hamachi, and end it with a tamago (egg sushi). Actually..any sushi you order is fresh so it totally depends on your taste.
If you don't want to sit at the bar, order the chirashi bowl...come during happy hour and it's only $4 for a beer, and the bowl is even cheaper. Mention yelp and the 10% off really works! Total for the 2 of us was $100. It can definitely get pricey so if you're watching your wallet don't sit at the sushi bar.
I would definitely come here more often, but I hate parking (even though it's accessible b/c it's in a structure). Make sure you validate to get 1 hr off! ($5 each hour).

Their bbq pork is too dry. The walnut shrimp is very good. Everything else was just okay. Definitely americanized chinese food (though they can speak Chinese), but I'd prefer PF Chang's if you were looking for something like that. They have lunch specials going at a rate of $8.25, which includes a side salad/soup, as well as egg rolls and fried wontons. I'd recommend 4 people order only 3 dishes as we could not finish ours. They also have brown rice :)
There is a Subway next door.

I did LOVE their brown rice spicy tuna roll..whoever thought of that is such a genius. It was slightly crunchy, yet soft and the rice was packed neatly with the tuna that it didn't cramp its flavor. I loved the fact that their spicy albacore roll was so cheap - only $5!. 3 sushi rolls came out to be only $21..I think this was the cheapest sushi place I've eaten at.
I wouldn't say the quality is the best, but the brown rice rolls are a must (since I've never eaten a sushi roll with brown rice). It's a very quaint and local spot, and seems like a good place to go if you don't want to wait in line. The service is attentive and excellent - had my hot green tea refilled many times. Tables are too close to each other where it can definitely be awkward if you're on a date (because the other table can totally hear your conversation!).

Huge place with lots of empty seats, however long lines during rush hour. Meals are a bit on the pricey end, but is definitely worth the money, as well as the way they place the food on the plate. Nothing fancy, but makes it look more delicious. Ordered the rib-eye steak sandwich (of course, my fav), and my goodness..it was SO TASTY. It had spinach, roasted onions, the rib-eye cooked beautifully, and a hint of horseradish. Came with a side of chips, but didn't care too much about that.
The coworkers got salads and soup...next time I'm going to try the soup as I heard a lot of good things about it. The serving on the salads are a bit lighter compared to Cheesecake Factory's dinner portion, but it's enough for a girl to be satisfied.
I wouldn't mind coming back here on back-to-back lunches.
P.S. Do not go to Boba Loca across the street. Their boba tastes gross...almost as tasteless as paper. I only drank 1/4 of it and threw it away. $3.50 for that kind of boba is a waste.

I bought 3 loaves of bread, focaccia bread, and 2 bags of breadsticks. Most of them are for my friends, but as I'm eating the focaccia bread right now, it is equivalent to Domino's cheesy breadsticks, except that it has tomato on it. I probably wouldn't come out of my way to this place.
